Home was nice, buying process was an ease thank you!

The hoa is a mess. The fee mentioned when buying the house is completely different from the hoa fee that needs to be paid now. It has been processed for two weeks, and there is still no result. Some workers such as the hoa property manager are playing football to shirk responsibility! If you buy a house again, you probably won’t choose KB！

Loan process was extremely repetitive, asking for the same documents submitted by more than 10 times. Even though everything was uploaded in KB portal, most individuals didn’t bother to look and asked for my personal/Bank/W2/Loan documents via email. KB portal seemed to have no purpose, even though we were made to believe to upload all our documents in. Design studio was great and so was Steve who worked with us after our home was done.

The constant communication with the construction supervisor was great

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If you’re looking to get a KB home make sure to come in with your own financing company. The finance department is horrible aside from Lionel in finance who heard our cries and disappointment through the process. Building too soooo king it was months where houses that weren’t sold before ours had already been worked on. We are two months in and still need repairs fixed. If you can elsewhere do so it’s not worth it

Sales started out great, as time went along construction progressively got worse, sales had no answers builder had no answers, walls built where walls shouldn't be, vents were wrong etc. etc., 13months to close and still haven't had issues or promises kept but KB got paid and now here i am still cant open a window due to know screens, counter tops look like cigarette burns, we have back splash scheduled but we will see what happens with that...will not recommend to any one to buy here, my family bought 3 homes here and wish we hadn't.

We had been looking to buy for a couple of months. Passed buy this location a few times but never thought we could afford a new property. Stopped by on a whim after a full day of house hunting. Loved the model. Loved the area. The agent on duty was amazing. The his is the second KB HOME we’ve bought new! Love it!

Unfortunately we have had quite a few issues with our home, leaking master bath, cracked concrete on driveway, paint on door fixtures, plaster on patio and drive way out front. KB has been available and working on all of our items, they immediately got in touch with the plumbers to fix the shower which was appreciated.

I find it's overall good experience to work with KB home and customer service team. I have a few recommendations here. 1. this house has a SunPower connection issue. The SunPower technician have come three times but were unable to switch it on. It seems some wires are messed up during construction. This needs to be addressed ASAP. 2. my mailbox key is not working. I was advised to go to mail office myself to find it out and Customer Service team is not able to offer more help. This can be improved as well.

The sales people used high pressure tactics and misled us during the purchasing process. They did not communicate with the lender or the design center. We had to check that everything we paid for was installed. We paid for higher end cabinets and they were not even installed correctly. They came with lots of damages, they are still not fixed even though the house has closed for 3 months. This was not our first time buying a new home, but it was the worst new home buying experience. It definitely did not feel like we were purchasing a home that cost more than a million dollars. We would never recommend anyone to buy a KB Home and we will definitely not buy another one. Here are some of the things that went bad: - cabinet handles were installed crooked, and not aligned. - they come to do touch up paint and left paint drops on the floor. - all the doors are scratched or dented. - the garage door handle just fell off - while we were buying the house, all the home buyers did not get the same price adjustment, some home buyers got additional benefits even though salespeople lied and said everyone is treated the same. - the after purchase service is non-existent. There is no place to send issues. Nobody responds to emails. The only person who tries to help is the construction superintendent. - the KB team was the most unorganized group of people we dealt with. - throughout the whole experience communication we received from different people were all different. Nobody was on the same page. Everyone had different dates, deadlines or records. If we have to organize everyone’s efforts, what are they getting paid for? - it was a very unpleasant buying experience. ... More

The NEW home purchasing experience with KB Home was spoiled due to the lack of attention to detail and follow-up plus the bad quality of materials and workmanship which did not equate to value for the price paid.

The customer service is excellent and KB homes do their best to meet our needs.

Well built homes, good location. Sales personnel are trustworthy and helpful.

The attention to detail could be better for the price of the home. Paint is dripped over tubs, light switches, cover plates, etc.

The build is of good quality. There were some minor issues when moving in but were resolved promptly. With exception to an expensive water bill accrued because the irrigation valve was faulty, causing a small but expensive leak in the sprinkler system. I was hit with a $350 bill, that I have no choice to pay with the water district. Customer service was contacted and chose not to say say yes to doing the right thing. Apparently the warranty covers inside the home only. Working in the hospitality industry, we would have eaten the cost in order to preserve our reputation. However I believe KB is not entirely in accordance with its branding message “#1 in Customer Satisfaction”. KB and its lender will gain approx $800k between purchasing the home and interest accrued over 30 year loan. I would think that $275 would be something that could be written off, but I guess KB is solely interested in maximizing profit margins. At the expense of its customers. This is very unfortunate because the staff members I’ve worked with are wonderful dedicated professionals: Amber (realtor, who was very patient and kept us updated regularly ), Gina & Traci (loan officers, who were very patient in keeping us appraised) Paul (Superintendent, his easy going demeanor and passion for magic) & especially to Raymond (Asst Superintendent, whose gone above and beyond because he is Cleaner *read Relentless by Dwayne Grover) have been very professional and easy to work with. The home buying process was great - I just wish there were more options like more solar panels. However, after moving in, I found numerous issues, especially with my windows. After 2 months, almost all my issues were fixed except for one that is difficult to resolve. The customer support was great - I just wish they didn't need to provide so much support. KB Home should've done a better job in the beginning.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of building a home with KB Home in the Winn Ridge community in Aubrey, Texas, and I would not recommend this builder to anyone. From the start, our project was plagued with delays and issues, from the pause in construction for three months to allow for resources to be devoted to other projects, to struggling to pass pre-dry wall inspections, and ordering materials short of what was needed. The project team seemed unable to deliver on reasonable estimate timelines, causing great inconvenience to my family, and we ultimately missed a 120 day lock rate agreement with KB Home Loans. The lack of professionalism and empathy from the project team was also a major issue, and it felt like they needed help to get the job done. We were left feeling disappointed and stressed, and it has been over two months since we moved in and our sentiment has not changed. Elegimos esta compañía de construcción porque nos daba a escoger cada uno de los detalles que queríamos para nuestra vivienda , eso nos hacía muy feliz. Con respecto al personal y servicio al cliente , no puedo quejarme , realmente ellos atendieron y aún atienden cada una de nuestras llamas e inquietudes . Con respecto a la mano de obra , una porquería , dejaron tantas imperfecciones en mi casa que no puedo explicar , incluso después de realizar la última caminata . Llevo un mes viviendo mi casa y ya está llena de grietas en bornes por todos lados . Dejaron clavos en los marcos de las puertas por lo que eso rompió nuestra puerta principal . El llavín de la puerta está torcido , en fin innumerables defectos que se podían haber corregido . Por eso doy 2 estrellas porque a pesar de que el trato al cliente es magnífico, pienso que lo más importante es la mano de obra de la casa que se va a vivir y es desastrosa . Todo está mal terminado , para el precio que costo lo casa , pensé no tener que hacer nada en ella y ahora ando retocando gritas por todos lados aunque se que la vas puede moverse un poco hasta que se quede fija en el suelo pero igual , es demasiado , se que es mal trabajo porque estuve viendo cada detalle de mi casa desde que comenzó la construcción ... Great floor plan, looks great from a distance. Final finishes are not up to anyone’s standards quality control definitely lacks

I feel the final product of the home was rushed. I felt there was definitely a push to close on the house and make the sale in order to meet 2022 goals for the company. Our superintendent did a first time walkthrough and the kitchen island was not yet completed the medicine cabinet was not installed in the guest bathroom. We’ve lived in the home for 2 months and have noticed drywall cracking on the ceiling, gray paint marks on the white walls. I just feel like the subcontractors and laborers were rushed to finish the job.

Attached home Arvada CO. Excellent-sales lead and crew, KB home loan personnel and weekly communication. Design studio-process to customize interior-was also excellent. Build quality is average. Value is harder to quantify given rapid price increases in neighborhood at time of purchase.

I recently moved to vegas and was able to see the build on a regular basis. I identified way too many issues during the build that would have been detrimental if waited until after the final walk through. For starters, I paid to have the entire house insulated, all interior walls also. We had a wind storm one weekend after the insulation was in place causing it to blow out and all over the house as well as outside. The following week, they started drywall but no one replaced the missing insulation! I used a hanger to slide through the joints to show the contractor after the drywall had been screwed into place. There is more spots missing as I am starting to find hollow sound/temp changes. But it should have not been dry walled if they saw insulation blown all over the place. Next, the corners were to be sharp edge 90° corners. They were mudding the walls when I noticed they were bullnose not what I asked for. Again no QC. I was told there was not an AC unit available for my house and asked if I would accept a temp to close and a replacement would come later. I declined but miraculously a unit was installed. I don’t think this is my unit but I am not an HVAC guy. It looks like the units from 10 years ago. Also, The window frames were cracked in multiple places but they only patched them with vinyl patch. My light switches are far from where they “normally” would be expected, to include the master bathroom switch is located under my towel rack!!! …. I am addressing issues that I am still finding… I been reaching out but after 3 emails to Customer service over 10 days, I finally had someone respond and now I have repairs scheduled for this week. It was over 9 months to build, they could have taken a few extra days to ensure quality was behind the build process… very disappointed to the point I wish I would have not closed on the house and just waited for a different opportunity to build…. ... The building is energy efficient, with no air cracks, quiet, and motion sensors in the lavatories and garage to turn off lights and conserve energy. Straight Edges, clean paint Job, modern building concept with modern appliances. It is indeed a well-thought-out energy-efficient smart building with Solar panels.

Initially, I found a rambler from another builder and decided to sell my two-story home and make the move. The anticipation of moving had me excited to visit the model homes quite often to visualize my dream - but never felt quite welcome in the sales office. I sought out other options in the area and came across KB Homes and met Megan. More than welcoming, she informed me that she would be on site in an upcoming development located in Enumclaw - EXACTLY where I needed to be.
