KB was easy to work with, there was great communication throughout the process. The sales rep was giving me weekly updates with pictures, that was very helpful. Of the 3 builders in the development this is by far the best one. The best floorplans and the best lots. I say KB is highly recommended!

Great job with the house!

The home was built too quickly IMHO due to numerous delays to get started. There was too many houses going up at the same time. I believe this resulted in the issues we noted during our walk through. The items we noted during walk thru honestly should have been noted prior and fixed prior to our walk thru. Here we are 5 months later and still have open issues. I haven't been able to get responses from warranty and superintendent.

When I locked in on my home . I was suppose to get updates got one update then once the home was finshed My closing was set back 5 times that was terrible . I found out some people got blinds that came with the home . We didn’t get any and some people got electric garage door opener I didn’t receive it . when I wanted to change the plans for the home they told me everything was already picked I didn’t have a choice . Some homes got a roof over their back porch slab I didn’t get that either why ? they told me it didn’t come with the home . I love my New home I didn’t have any problems with the build or walk throughs . The Grass was dead when they put it down and it still will not turn green no matter how much water I put . It’s horrible please be mindful when you pick a home and make sure you check on your home when they are building it . I came out every other day and watch the build if not you will have problems in your home . I also came out and continue to shut my windows and doors . If not “rain will get in and cause mold . The people working for KB are great. The Sales team was amazing and always kept us informed. After move in the Customer Service team was great addressing issues in a timely manner.

Great experience during the buying process

Jeanne, Michael, Anthony and Frankie were great to work with and made the home buying experience very pleasurable.

Be aware after living here for a month or so I find the workmanship was very rushed to be specific the finish work like the calking and wall repairs and trim fitment and the clean up! Also kb could spend a little more to put better product like door handles soft close hinges and don’t paint the door hinges!!!

We had a great experience purchasing and working though the process. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t all easy going but KB Homes has great people and systems in place to make sure you have a wonderfully built home.

1.)Upon walkthrough notice drain and crawl space, ask what's that for was told for emergencies. Now upon inspections and crawlspace, moisture and water underwater vapor. So waters coming in under the drainage system at this time causing issues with mold possibly growing. 2.) serious noise issue with air conditioning unit outside of master bedroom. The piping is run through the framing and not properly insulated that it makes a vibration noise and keeps us awake most of the night. It started to cause health issues. Bob's heating has come inspected and says the unit is running properly. The issue is not the unit running it's where the pipe is run through the framing up to the heater causing loud vibration noises all night and day. We have contacted customer service several times in reference this matter. The response is that's the only place I can put the unit and the way needs to adjust our temperature higher so the air conditioner doesn't run. Why do I have to absorb the cost of running more heat than necessary? Thank you for your attention in this matter ... More

There's no need for frustration. The staff at KB are there to help every step of the way. You won't regret it.

From sale to construction Kbhome team is a winner. Location/location/location. Floor plan and customization is what sold me. Lemont is the best and got it done. The Studio tour and upgrades was exciting and Sarah was super. Tammy helped so much with the loan process. Constr Mgr's addressed questions and small issues(paint/HVAC(loud by bedroom window). Traffic in and out could be an issue in future as other home builders build, there is only one 4 way 2 lane intersection in and out and can be a little issue. As a veteran first time home buyer pleased with the results.

The overall finishing work of the house construction is unsatisfactory, and there are many areas where the work has been left incomplete or done in a careless and substandard manner.
