My Project Manager Adrian has been great to work with in which he kept up with the dates on when the house was finished and my Sales Rep Robert provided excellent customer services as well.

Happy with the KB Home. Many unfinished issues that are taking a long time to get done. KB selling rep. was great. The house is very comfortable, the layout is very functional. The neighborhood is very good.

Ensure all corrections are done prior to closing.

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be far from it. Due to a changing home sales market in June/July we struggled to get our (previous) home under contract. KB didn't care. Not only did they not want to work with us to still close on our new home, they literally gave us an ultimatum. On July 19th, we received an email which read; "Get your home under contract by Saturday, July 23 or we will consider you in breach of contract and sell them home to another buyer. If we are able to sell the home before August 30, we will return your earnest money. If not, you will forfeit the money." It's important to note that our close date wasn't until August 10. After doing some research we learned that this happened because they wanted to get the home off their books prior to their next quarterly earnings report which was, by no coincidence, one day after their ultimatum deadline. Obviously, this is not what a customer wants to be told, and things got worse before they got better. As for the quality of workmanship, we've had 3 separate leaks in our furnace system over the last 2 months. Each time we had water puddled on the basement floor. We've been told that the leaks are fixed and "shouldn't have any more." We've been here 3 months and our "30-day punch list" has about half the things done. We were told that some won't be done until the 10-month punch list. While not all of these problems are directly KB's fault, it's the fault of their subcontracted trades workers. We've seen with our own eyes that some of them do not care about the end product. They just want to get the job "done" and get paid. In fairness, I will again say that some of these problems are not directly caused by KB. However, they've been in business long enough to know that you get out what you put in. Since they continue to hire people with poor to no work ethic, in the end, it is in fact their fault. ... More

So we bought a house 7 Oct. we did not like the experience with KB. When they offered a high APR & wanted us to buy down the rate. We went to our lender that offered way lower APR but then KB wanted to match it but wanted my lender to do a promise letter. Neither lenders wanted to do this so this took up time. We had refused to go with KB if they were going to match it because of they could match it now then they could have matched it in the beginning. Unfortunately we had to go with KB because they refused to give us the $4000 rebate and closing cost. Then it was a rush to do the walk through of the house. We closed on 7 Oct. walk through was 4 Oct. 2nd walk through was 6 Oct & did this not give them enough time to fix thing we found or that the inspector found. We got, “yes, that got fixed” when it didn’t. The AC gate was bent and that didn’t get replaced during the initial, 2nd walk through or the 30 day walk through. So this makes me doubt that they got any of the other things fixed. We are still waiting for things to be fixed and we are two months into living in this house. ... More

We are very happy the experience buying KBH was awesome

After admiring KB Homes for years, wishing to afford one of their beautiful models, we finally were able to buy one for our family! Much to our surprise, we learned how proudly they stand by their workmanship. The follow-up care is unmatched!

I am a second time KB homeowner. This experience has been HORRIBLE. I have encountered multiple issues that were pointed out several weeks prior to closing. The issues pointed out, poor craftsmanship, wrong appliances installed, defective carpet installation, wrong size vanity for second bathroom, drywall application and upgraded painting application were all horrendous. I purchased a new home that should have the upgrades and appropriate workmanship I paid for. This is the biggest purchase I have ever made and has resulted in the biggest disappointment.

The homebuilding process was stressful as many new home buyers know. The loan process was the most stressful part. I felt like a lot of the documents we were giving were being lost and had to be redone a lot of the times. And the communication between the sales agent and loan officer was not well. I understand having to keep giving documents in order to continue the process for the loan, but to keep being told that documents were never received despite the email confirmation was frustrating. Jared, our sales agent was amazing. He kept us updated every week and met our needs whenever we needed. Jason, the superintendent of our home was also super helpful. On timeline, willing to listen, trustworthy

KB homes took 8 months longer to build that we were promised. The house was not ready at closing. We have been in our home two months and they still have not fixed anything. The workmanship is the worst I have ever experienced.

I’ve been here 2 months and I’m still learning about the house. Overall they did a great job and I’m happy living in this development.

All people involved in the purchase of my home very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They made stress of purchasing a new home enjoyable.

The Loan Team was Five Star; the Construction side was and still is terrible. Definitely need more attention to detail and responsiveness and not just false promises.

JOSEPH great response when need him/them, on time and responsibility, working hard to schedule contractor to come and the fix the issue.

KB and their staff helped the process of me purchasing and moving into my first house a smooth, enjoyable and memorable experience
