Very good experience with kbhomes builder.

We felt supported from the moment we walked into the model home in our new KB Home community. Martin on the Sales team was wonderful at fielding all our questions or finding the answers if he didn’t have them himself. As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous and unsure with some processes, but the entire KB team (sales, construction, design) guided us every step of the way. We’re so happy with our new home!

The build took a bit longer than we expected but we are now in our new home and are loving it. There have been a few growing pains but that was to be expected and my contacts have mostly dealt with them quickly. Overall we are happy we built new. The KB team has been fantastic.

Great House and Solid Construction etc.

You hire ppl that do cheap work, you use cheap material and i have been constantly on email having isues being resolved. Thr floors ate damaged and i have not been able to fully furnish my home until you correct them and i have been here over a month. My experience has been a headache- contractors in my home constantly repairing your low quality construction defects.

The customization options are difficult to beat. The price is very good also. What didn't go as well is the build time. There were a lot of delays and it took way too long. Now that I moved in, it seems like other homes under construction in this community have started to get built a bit faster now, but that is my observation and I don't have any data to show this.

We went into contract February 2022 with a promise of a completed home in May or June. It took until the end of September until our home was delivered and only after us calling and going to the managerial staff. We still have repair issues that are unresolved. Also KB puts such a low fence in the backyard that you can see into your neighbors windows. We are disappointed that a privacy fence was not part of our package. This is a $800,000 plus home that should have included that out of respect for the homeowners privacy. We love the house but are very disappointed. Buying from KB Homes has to be the best decision I’ve made this year. From the first walkthrough to the closing date, everything went smooth. Everyone who helped us were as helpful as they can be and answered all questions that I had. I’m glad my wife and I made the choice to go with Kb homes. I wouldn’t have trade it for any other home.

Truly had a great experience from picking the home, and all the way through closing. The team was very helpful especially since we started before the rate hike and closed while in the middle of it. After reading how bad things could get, we were extremely grateful that we able to get everything we set out for.

Several delays in contract preparation, had to be redrafted due to several errors, issues in design studio where designers were unaware of all upgrade options, build time was over three months later than initially promised, moved in with a laundry list of contingencies that have STILL not yet been addressed after living here over 60 days. My 39 day inspection even came in after 45 days. Will not build with KB ever again.

Going with KB Homes as my builders was the best choice i could've made. I was very satisfied and extremely happy with the end results. The team i had was the best, they my first time home purchase worthwhile

The beginning process was very good. They answered all my questions and kept me Posted along the way. However, I decided to go with KB’s finance department and it was the worse experience ever. Just one month before closing, they decided to not approve me after all and the agent who was handling my loan lied about the reasons why all of a sudden didn’t qualify. I then had to go with a different lender. Serious integrity issues. It was a complete nightmare dealing with KB in general. It’s been three months since I’ve moved in and the house still hasn’t been completely finished because it wasn’t even ready until after the closing date given. ... More

Thomas helped us a lot during the whole process. From beginning to end, we did not have any issue. Every thing was was smooth.

Very satisfactory after sales service

There had been sooo much delay in the building process that I don't believe can be explained by the pandemic problem. There had been a quick transition with supervisors and I am under the impression that this is the problem. Nick is great but I hope KB can at least keep their good people.

My building supervisor, Nick is great. He has a great personality and is very patient. He listens to all my "concerns" and respond promptly. He even picks up his cell phone on weekend when I have a blown fuse in my kitchen and gave me advice. He had accommodate and assist me to change my initial walk through date when I had some oral surgery done in NY. I had a condo in NY LI area and my experience with KB home and Nick opens my eyes on how excellent builders respond to their customer after the sales. KB could write the text book on customer care. They truly earn their motto on "relationship building". I am impressed that a lot of employees purchase KB homes in the vicinity. This substantiate the quality of their work. An "insider" knows true quality. Overall my experience is extremely positive. It makes my 3000 miles move form LI to NV very worthwhile. I also want to mention Venessa who is my sales representative. She had kept me inform all the way through the building phase. She is an asset in the sales team. Keep up the good work. ... More

If you are optimizing for the price, KB is the builder to go for. You get what you pay for. Usually, there are no high ceilings. Even gutters are not included in the base price. The finish will not be as great as other builders in the market.

I am happy with the KB Homes built quality, very good floor plans. The house has good sun light, good number of windows etc.,

Definitely a great builder with great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Everyone I worked with to buy my home was very helpful.

So many things wrong with the house. Sloppy workmanship on cabinets, baseboard, patio door and carpet. Getting so many appointments scheduled to fix things that should have been done right the first time is cutting into my work schedule and making it hard to get to doctors appointments. So I’m just done. I’m so tired of trying to schedule and reschedule these appointments and have people interfere with my workday that I will likely just leave many items as they are instead of having them fixed.
