Clearly dont buy KB Home

Grateful for the awesome team at Prairie Village Villas who have made this experience as seamless as possible!

Pressed board kitchen cabinets and vanities, not even wood. Front door fell off one of the kitchen drawers after only 6 wks in the house. No drawers in either vanity cabinets. Refrig door handle falling off. Cheap bathroom fixtures. Kitchen cabinets too far up from the counter top. Can only reach first 2 shelves, others are useless. Just a lot of short cuts.

Craftsmanship was horrible. Moved in my house almost two months ago and touch up is still needed. Cabinets are not done. Horrible experience.

Deborah had our interests at heart and really went out of her way to make the long buying experience much less painful. She was available to answer our questions, and ensure we had, and understood, each step of the buying process. She facilitated the process and made it easier.

Great communication from the entire team, especially Bobby the superintendent who would always clearly and promptly inform us of the progress and potential delays. There was a ton of honesty in the process which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Now our young family has our dream home!

Almost two months after closing, we still waiting for window and roof repairs to be done! Had two appointments scheduled, but the KB repair staff was never showed up.

Should had built with another builder in different neighborhood.

All the team members were excellent and responsive.

Process is slow on loan approval due to poor communication between builder , loan coordinator and appraiser. Appraiser was not communicating well

The staff at KB is first rate. They have been helpful and very responsive to any needs we have had. The floor plan was perfect for our needs.

I purchased my new home from KB homes. I was in a tight spot and needed a home rather quickly. This one was available so I bought it. The craftsmanship and materials used were not worth the price paid for the home. Honestly, I would never buy or recommend a KB built home again. Corners were cut, the quality of work was sacrificed, and the materials used were prioritized in order to maximize profits. I understand this and can’t blame them. No one forced me to buy this home. This isn’t a forever home. I needed a home and this was available. I only plan to stay here for 3 years while I save to move into a better, more desirable, home. I wish I could say you get what you pay for but I can’t. I spent for to much money on such a basic home. Oh well, it is what it is. ... More

I am sure every builder has issues but working with KB was not something I would do ever again. The issues never stopped and they don’t truly care about your experience. You are just another sale.

Ryan, Christine, Eric, Nancy, and Blanca were all great throughout the whole buying experience. The whole team from start to finish have great knowledge and great customer service skills.

Great customization options for your home! The construction crew are great and very responsive and helpful. Just wish we would have started new build before rate hikes. Very pleased with our new home. It was a long process with ups and downs but glad we proceeded.
