Sales person was the best person I worked with

I cannot begin to tell you what a pleasure it was building with KB homes. From start to finish we were always kept apprised weekly of what was being done and the progress which was made. They sent pictures and the lines of communication were always open. Marshall our salesperson along with Gavin and Kaisee our site superintendents, as well as Curtis in the design center made our home a beautiful reality! Professional, caring, and always available, each and everyone went above and beyond. We can’t thank them enough. KB Homes is one of the best!

It was a great experience with buying my new home. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. The only minor issues I’ve noticed after moving in was sloppy caulking and painting in certain areas. They could really use some new construction workers, most of them are lazy!

We chose KB Home to build our first house, and we do not regret it. The process was smooth, and the team was excellent. Any questions we had along the way got answered in a timely manner, and the end product was great!

I understand COVID delayed building materials etc. I was good with waiting 9 months. Then every month past the 9 was excuses as to why my home wasn’t finished. I told them I was pulling out of the contract because the new home building excitement was gone. I’ve been in my home now 2 months and there is still stuff we are waiting on and things they didn’t complete before moving in (minor to them major to us) Love the home but just not a good experience

Sales lady misrepresented what was included in base price , seldom followed up , and pushed document to sign which had not been filled out . Lax attitude from construction supervisor throughout building process Ie ( roof ) asked multiple times to inspect it and is now in need of repair . Customer service not following through on things needing replaced or repaired , requested at 10 day review ( we are 6 weeks post closing ) still undone . And lastly I sent email back in November after receiving a welcome card from ( name I don’t recall ) listing concerns I had , that has yet to be replied to .. enough said ! They don’t care ! ... Overall my home buying experience was pleasant. However I have closed on my home over a month ago and construction is still not completed. I am waiting on cabinets, painting and bathroom countertops to be completed. The warranty department has been very helpful l, however I should have been notified by construction not to expect my home 100% completed at closing

KB Home with up to the code with quality home gave me the very positive futures for my life. I am very appreciated it to have KB Home Sales Team with Kristal and after service team with Ceil were helping to get my KB Home to be great!

We were able to watch the progress of our home being built from dirt to to move in! We felt welcome to visit on Sundays (so as not to get in the way of the workers). We were emailed progress reports with pictures and updates about the next work to be done. We have been in our home now for two and a half months and have had minimal issues. But, when we have come across any problem, it was corrected very quickly. Highly recommended!

Sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable about the process and keeping homeowner up to date. Construction manager did a good job in returning phone call and update next steps in construction process. Overall skill levels of builders are questionable, it seems like construction workers do care about the quality of their work. Must jobs where never completed to the satisfaction of completion.

I had some follow up items after the initial hand over which is typical with a new home build. Doug, the construction supervisor and Martin Coday have been superb. They have been very receptive and have taken care of all of the outstanding items. I really appreciate them going above and beyond.

Only had a problem with one or two people. Everyone else was superior.

KB Home performed a walk through with me. They answered all my questions, would walk by to ensure that everything met satisfaction. Overall, everyone was helpful.

Home was delivered as a functional turn key house but lacked attention to detail on many finishing touches.

Mr. Chavez is phenomenal and once he temporarily took over the Harbor Dunes community, everything started to positively progress in the right direction. However, I’m still missing a bunch of items and no details on when those items will come in other than it’s on back order. Still waiting on several items to be fixed as well. Lastly, the subcontractors that KB Home hired to build, install, paint, etc… were very sub-par. And for the price I paid, I figured the builder would throw in a complimentary refrigerator, but I guess I should be happy I got something (blanket). This is not my 1st home buying experience and so comparing to my previous one, KB Home is a huge let down. I am very pleased that I’m in a new home, but probably should have done my homework on the builder first. Hopefully all future KB HOME homeowners will have a better experience. ... More

Very disappointed to learn at closing that the neighbors yards drains into mine. I purchased home with seeing it as I was out of state. Seller agent should have disclosed.

Great customer service and professional support

Buying a home in Los Angeles is no easy job. KB Homes laid down the process in easy steps. Just follow the process if you like the house and want to really buy it. They will help you along the way. Customer service is top notch and they take care of you post closing as well.

Both Luis and Joseph have been very responsive to issues, they return calls & text immediately and are quick to resolve them. Very happy with their support throughout the whole process.
