Chris is a very organized and responsive construction manager

Mike and Tracy were very professional and helpful. everytime I call them they made sure that I am getting the right answer and taking care of. Thumbs up to the whole team!

Joe and Josh were very helpful along the way. Always there whenever a question came up and after closing josh has followed up to make sure everything has been ok.

Be sure to research the area your community is being or was built on. Get third party inspections cause the KB construction workers don’t take pride in there work. Keep a list of every repair and how long KB takes to fix it. Tiles started cracking in the second day of moving in the house. I been living here two months now and there are cracks all over the floors and walls in the house, not to mention varies other build issues. The construction manager will submit repair request for the first 45 days after you move in but after that good luck on getting anyone to come repair things. I currently got blue tape all over my walls, unpainted areas, and cracked tiles to name a few things while I wait for KB to give me a date in when the repairs will take place. Very helpful and knowledgeable answer my question right away

I was disappointed with several aspects of the homebuying process and felt it did not meet my expectations. Some finishes and materials did not meet the standard I anticipated for the price paid, and there were minor issues that needed attention. Communication was sometimes unclear, and I felt that updates or timelines could have been more transparent. Given the issues I encountered, I did not feel the home fully reflected the value promised. While some concerns were addressed, there were delays in responses and resolution that caused frustration. To start we are now in our home, we closed 6 weeks later than promised, but we moved in and the 10 day punch list items are completed. That being said, if you have already signed with KB to build, make sure you pay for an inspection before the sheetrock walk-through. We went with all of KB recommended partners, the broker, the title company, the insurance, etc. Not recommended as there is zero communication between the construction manager, sales manager, broker, closing company, insurance agents, sub contractors. We had issues every step of the way. It gets stressful when timing when you will be moving out of your current location and planning the logistics of your move in and with no tangible dates ever. Thankfully, we had a realtor that could put in the time to chase down some answers, but it was never confirmed we would actually be able to close until 2 days before and closing took for hours. Insurance was put in escrow along with taxes as standard practice. You can imagine our horror to find they never paid the insurance premium and we don’t have insurance although we paid. My experience with KB Home has been excellent from start to finish. Katrina in sales was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Brad from the lending team was always quick to respond and helped me understand every step clearly. During construction, Jose did a fantastic job keeping me updated and making sure everything was done right. When I moved in, Donald from customer service was friendly and on top of every detail. Any small issue I pointed out was handled quickly and professionally. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my home and grateful for the entire team’s support. We have been trying to get our refrigerator replaced or refunded since we paid for it ourselves thru the design studio for 1100.00. It looks second hand and runs loud enough to hear 7 out of 8 hrs. They ordered doors without hearing our side of issue. This has been ongoing before we closed on house, said go ahead and close all issues will be taken care of, at who’s satisfaction. Had a range problem got that solved. Still have issue with cabinet inserts, put on order to replace. Essentially everything we paid extra for has had issues. Everyone who has told us they will come here to talk to us about this issue has not shown up. Wait all day and nothing. KB advertising says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Not happening yet. KB made the homebuying experience an easy one. Everything was clearly explained and documented for us and the response time after move in was great. The financial team was excellent.
