Few improvement suggestions: 1. The quality of concrete poured on the garage and on the backyard pod is not good. So many hair line cracks and spalling at places in the garage leaves me worried. 2. The pricing of studio selection is outdated and has to match with true market value of the upgrade and should not seem overly pricy. a. Defaults for kitchen counters is tiles which is more costly labor to put then Granite which is much cheaper now. b. Defaults of lower height Toilet bowls and many other things are only outdated and leave a less than happy experience at time. c. NO option to put microwave in the closet felt awkward. Only apartments have microwave on top of stove. d. Pricing of outside perimeter concrete, recess lightings, Steel finish kitchen sink etc was lot pricier than what outside contractors offer. e. My wife and I bought our first home with KB. Our team consisted of Myrna, Angela, Brett and Clay. Absolute best customer service and have been more than helpful every step of the way. 10/10.

Kept us informed on the status of the house, no hidden fees, everything was told to us upfront.

Do not fall for the so-called move-in ready homes. It could take more than 7 months to complete. It simply means the options are preselected and you can't make changes. Former sales rep was very arrogant and not providing updates. It took about 30 days for KB homes to sign their own part of the contract and another month to lay the foundation and this was only done after I contacted the area manager. Meanwhile the sales rep with whom I made the lot selection a couple of times sent me ongoing work in another property just to give impression that work had started and also knowing I was living two and a half hours away from the property location. So to get accurate information, I had to drive frequently to the site or send my realtor or the husband who is a colleague of mine. Just to buy time for anticipated mortgage rate increase, they completed the foundation and claimed they were waiting for blocks for another one month. After block work, it took another one month for the decking in the name of waiting for lumber. Consquently, closing was moved from December to January and finally to last week of February 2022. Had I not been on the neck of the underwriter to do their work, February closing may not have been possible. Worst of it all, the loan agent was very hesitant to reduce the loan amount after several reminders as though he wanted me to borrow more than I wanted, and this action of his as I learnt later, would have been more devastating had he not changed the loan amount just a couple of days before the final underwriting, meanwhile closing date was barely 4 days away. And at this time, I had exhausted my rate lock options, meaning I had to close on the stipulated date in February or borrow at higher interest rate should the closing be shifted because the loan processing had to be returned back for underwriting. The baffling part of the loan officer's action is that I had forwarded him the information on the available fund for closing. ! However, at the end, the area construction manager Tony, the construction manager Mike, and the lending manager Robert as well as Customer service manager Mark were very hepful and nice. Other than the backyard door screen that readily falls off (yet to be corrected), nails poking from beneath the rugs (now mostly fixed by KB), poor interior paint quality, a bit noisy and reverbaratory decking (guessing from not being padded well enough and the wood quality) beside other issues I detected during walk-through and later by a private inspector I hired (fixed), the home is pretty fair but a bit pricey for the square footage. Get your loan from another company

The salesperson provided weekly updates on the progress from the beginning through the end. The walkthrough went smoothly and builder was thorough throughout the whole process. Was able to address my concerns.

Responsiveness was amazing and would definitely recommend. I have built 3 other homes and kb made it easy.

After moving in Alex and Isabeau checking is all the time to make sure we are all set and if we need anything. I was impressed by their customer support.

KB team provided great customer service and communication throughout the build process. Attention to detail in the initial planning and continuous communication was key to ensuring our home was built to plan and our expectations. We had two significant issues during our build. First was a three month closing date delay as a result of material supply chain and labor shortages. The second was quality of workmanship completed by contractors due to labor shortage. We feel the KB team did their best to provide us a quality, on time product. We would recommend KB.

We signed for our home with them promising to fix several items on the home. Out side has not been painted Garage door is dented and weather stripping is falling off. Our wall in main entry is bowed. With a major curve in it.the other day a worker showed up to fix the wall and only had a hammer he smacked the wall 5 times breaking the base board and moving the wall back 2 inches still needs to be redone and now tile does not match wall . So need a tile guy to redo 2 tikes. a interior wall repatched and replanted (Not sure how you fix a wall with just a hammer and no materials. Front irrigation has never worked having broken pipes under ground the plants are now dead and we asked to be replaced. Emails are not responded to. Today a worker came fixed one pipe did not replace plants. Now No one returns emails or request. Our cabinets in kitchen is damaged and still missing one knob that they can not find. When asked they say supply chain or out of stock it been 2 month missing one knob. Bathroom shower is missing the piece that separates the 2 glass doors. Bedroom closet is unable to open or close. All small issues but no communication or follow thru Our buying experience was going great but now there is a disconnect and we start to feel jaded by not completing these small defects. Make sure you get the correct closing date, before you start transferring your Utilities and storage and the rent apartments that you are in at the time

The finished product was sloppy, especially the paint job Roof was not complete at walkthrough

It was transparent, sales staff where clear and to the point. They do!! go the extra mile to help you!!!

Overall KB was very good.

Everyone that I worked with was extremely helpful and quick to reply to any questions and/or concerns that I had.

Since this is my first house, I don't have detailed knowledge about the quality. But as to my three months experience it is the best and I love it. Better quality fair price in comparison with current market.
