Thank you for working with us on our concerns on time every time. But i must say the door knobs coming off so far 4 in less than 2 months is not good. I have decided to overlook that i almost gave 4 stars.

KB home is the best house builder.

We had a great experience with KB home team. The team did a great job in making the entire journey smooth and stress free. They were extremely helpful, courteous and provided regular updates during the home building process. The quality of home is great and comes at a fair price. I highly recommend KB Home to everyone.

The Tx loan compared to NY was very frustrating and it took over 5 or more months before they denied me a loan and I had to start all over with a different company kept me anxiety extremely high for the whole tome

I enjoyed all the process, I was updated at every litle step answer all the question . I had. I recommend KBhome to every body. the things I love most is their floor plan I have now all the space needed for my kids.

The staff is lovely and attentive - super kind too! Even after moving in, they're still kind and willing to help at a moment's notice.

Sales promised a complete home in 6 months however the construction team said it would be closer to 9. So from the beginning, I was being misled. My weekly updates were not always kept, one time i had to ping the construction mgr as I hadn't heard from him in a month. The updates were never complete. If 5 things were complete, i was informed about one. Sales promised weekly updates and photos and that never happened. I hired a 3rd party inspector and he pointed out issues that I then had to beg to get addressed. The best advice I would give someone is research everything and stay in top of the construction team. Get a 3rd party inspector. Loan and design studio personnel were top notch. I felt pressured over and over again to rate the team with 10s even though they know they were not warranted. ... More

Entire home buying experience is smooth.

To me, Sale, design, and Super for KB are awesome and amazing people to work with. My sale counselor was updating me with all the info and always there when I need know either the first or second on the waitlist. My design counselor was staying with us for additional 3 hours for us to pick all the stuffs. That was awesome. Our original super left the company so the other super had to step in to help from other subdivision. He was pretty great to work with and honest with anything we asked. The only thing that making my wife not happy were our back patio door wasn’t lock properly even though we locked it. Our lock for garage door same thing which not lock properly and the track was a little loose. Our cabinet got a little scratches but we got the touch up kit so we are okay. And some damages on drywall that wasn’t fix right. If KB can hire the better GCs to do their work that would be perfect. ... More

Extremely pleased with Stanley’s sales team and Steve, Josh and Hunter’s expertise, professionalism, and assistance. They provided excellent service that was over and beyond. They also provide valued after sales service.

Lack of attention to detail in workmanship. The poles and shelving I paid extra for is now collapsing in one room. The paint job is horrible!

Great people to work with and quick with giving updates or responding to issues.

On time delivery and reasonable price compare to the other builders.

Loved the experience. But I’m finding it hard to get someone to repair/correct a few things that was asked.

I am making the house into a home, but there are some things, mainly cosmetic, that should have been taken care of beforehand. The home has the potential to be great, but for right now, I can say that it is good. The sales team was amazing. The floor plan is awesome. I just feel that the "small stuff" was rushed and overlooked by whoever was to inspect it during the process.

process was inline with expectation, in regards to the time it took to build the home and close. The closing process was messy and a lot of back and fourth between KBH and title company due to errors in the paperwork, it was very stressful. I was unware of the large slope in the backyard which takes away half of the backyard, 20 ft vs 40 ft. Additionally, the tree in the backyard has not been removed as promised even though its on my property and was supposed to be removed prior to building. Cant get anyone in KBH to give me a straight answer as to when it'll get removed. Somewhat regret buying this home, while definitely sell this home in the near future. ... More

My realtor was the one who told me about the builder. Signing for my home in the beginning was a breeze. But after I signed, it took months before they finally began building my home. Then, they switched the head builder for my home 3 times. I would never really get any updates on my home and how it was coming along. Not to mention the home that they presented to me looked nothing like my home. So I didn't really know exactly how my home was going to look in the inside. And now that I'm finally in my home after literally 17-18 months of waiting, I'm finally happy. Me and my kids. But to tell you the truth, I wouldn't refer anyone to this company. ... More

Lack of communication, delays, poor quality control

The people that we interacted with throughout the process were all so friendly and helpful.

There are some designs that KB homes provided that other builders don't. KB studio people need to be careful on what they suggest on the products, which I did not get the answer I expected to received. Constructions people didn't deliver my expectations so it was tad bit disappointing.

Completely DISAPPOINTED with the quality of the work done on my home, and the quality of the appliances provided, quality of the materials(carpet, drywall boards, dry wall cement/paints, ceiling materials) was used for the construction. I also see lot of cracks in many areas of the house. I personally feel that it is not even worth the 3/4th of what I paid for it.
