We are very pleased with the layout of the home, the lot and the quality of material. However, final detail work took months! Promises of move-in dates were broken many times between 4 months, causing us to stay in a hotel and spend senseless amount of money while waiting for the final touches to be completed. Higher management did absolutely NOTHING to assist, in fact, they played the blaming game. The 5 homes that were occupied after us experienced the same issues having to live in Airbnb, hotels and in family homes while KB dragged its feet. We were forced to personally speak with the city inspection office to get KB moving along. Inspector's office informed us that they have been pushing KB to final inspection, but they just keep taking their time. As soon as we took command, we were in our home within 5 days. Always there for anything you need or want or questions you have cocernning your home from start to finish and even after

There is a lack of supervision after every contractor is done with their job. KBH trusts that every contractor would self-supervise. KBH needs to apply healthy skepticism to the contractors since it is KBH who would ultimately be liable if corners were cut during the construction of the home.

My experience was great, everyone helped at every time I needed the help .

Timely, organized, good communication

Smooth process from beginning to end!

Supply chain and lack of workers made things difficult. Not KBs fault.

Everyone from the sales team, construction team and the finance team were top notch and treated us like family.

I work in construction and my jobs are never as messy as the job site was at my new house. Food spilled on the subfloor trash everywhere. I still find trash in my yard from the construction process. Sump pump was in the wrong location, electrical was not correct run, miss matched paint on closet doors, lots of drywall issues, tiles chipped and not grouted, door trim impropriety installed, broken appliances and the house was never properly cleaned before they turned it over. Short of being a full scale custom home as traditionally viewed, the KB experience let’s you come very close with picking the lot, plan, options and selecting from the design center. Throughout there are personal touches of design that make sense and adds comfort in smaller spaces. The sales and construction team is there every step of the way, I mean every step! Ask as many questions as you like and you get weekly updates on the building status. Enough said, if your a hard working person that want the true American Dream now; check out the builders at KB Homes, you may just be surprised.

Closing got pushed back 3x. Multiple issues during walkthrough that ended up with 3 walkthrough prior to closing. Continued issues with home even after closing

They help out whenever we need them even if they are common sense issues. I feel safe

This being our first house experience, everything was new and exciting! There where some stressful moments in the buying process, but the people at KB homes where very professional at meeting our needs. My overall experience with buying and building process with the people at KB Homes was very satisfying and I would encourage anyone looking to buy or build a home give KB Homes a call first!

Keep on top of issues and make sure they take care of the issues ASAP.

Everything was organize. I was told my deadlines and with that i was able to keep everything on track. very helpful threw my process on buying my dream home.

Rough start but things got better.

They weren't worth a crap. This is my opinion which I am entitiled to. Poor construction. Poor quality of work and resolving problems. Slow in making repairs. They didn't show us how to operate water, air conditioning systems (poor orientation). Failed to mention we were close to a chicken farm, which stinks at times. This only positive thing is they do communicate good with us. But actions spreak louder than words. We would never recomend KB Home to our worst enemy. The HOA is a nightmare to deal with. We will be selling ASAP.

In the beginning there were some non-communication issues with the financial part and construction (toward the end) but that was remedied. Everyone was pleasant during the process just a few areas that need improvement. There were some minor cosmetic issues with the house as far as workmanship (a little disappointing) My warranty rep Kyle has been great getting everything I need fixed. He stays in contact with me weekly to make sure all my concerns with the house are getting done. Thus making me a happy customer.

The process took several months longer than discussed when signing the contract. KB refused to commit to a completion date until the day of closing. I do not like "estimated" and "we're hoping for" to control my life. We heard a lot of "possibly", "should happen", and "we don't know" as answers to our questions.

They are very patient in explaining every single process of building the home. Riverchase has a great team!

We really liked Bud. He was our initial contact with KB and unlike other builders we went to he was very down to earth and genuinely friendly. The Design studio needs to learn some things from him. Our experience with them was one that felt rushed and inconvenient to them after we were pushed a month because it snowed and they did not open for just that particular morning of our initial appointment. You should not get to treat someone as they have inconvenience you when you guys closed. Regardless of the reason. As for the actual construction process we felt it went as good as it could go with all the issues of COVID and shortages. However we did feel like the subcontractors got careless and lazy to finish out the house. I understand they were trying to get us finished up to meet our closing (which got pushed anyway) and maybe it is because of the year long warranty. The finish out just felt rushed and very much like the feeling "just get it done and if we have to come back during the warranty period we will". We get that and have been using it. But it felt like a lack of caring. Now that being said Kevin and Derek have rocked getting anything we need done. They both have been awesome and you should do what you can to keep them happy. Everything is very quick except the building of the house. A lot of unexpected issues pop up.
