It was exciting watching every phase of the house being constructed. When the time came to close and move in there were some issues that needed to be addressed which comes along with new construction. But I was very satisfied with Russell and Brandon addressing our issues in a timely manner. Overall KB gives a beautiful home for your money. I would use them again if I was in the market.

Good Experience with KB Homes

We had great experiences with the sellers in this KB Home neighborhood. They explained things well and were attentive to what we were looking for in a home. They were patient with us as first-time home buyers and they celebrated with us when we were able to pick up our keys. When we did our walk-through, the contractor was very thorough in explaining how things worked, who to call when, and the best practices for the plumbing and electrical. Unfortunately, we do not feel like our home is complete because we have found some mistakes as we have been putting things away. There are a couple of crooked cabinets. The mirrors had to be replaced already. There are crooked light/electrical plug plates. Our garage door has no windows in it but it is supposed to have windows on the top. The shower in the guest bathroom is damaged and cracked. How did these things pass inspection? We still haven't heard when the garage door will be fixed. When should we expect that? It's these small details that have made us skeptical. Attempts to contact KB via telephone have also been difficult. I have tried to call Rich at Home Customer service a couple of times suing 951.445.7596 and he has not returned my call. I also tried to call the customer service number and there is a message that no one is working in the office due to COVID. This is understandable, but are you able to forward calls? We do not believe it should be this difficult to get in touch with someone to address the issues we are finding. Very lousy customer service. The window in the living room was not squared. They say they were going to come and fix it but never showed up. Does not respond to calls and e-mails. Very frustrating.

It was a great experience being first time home owner. We were always well informed about the construction progress and we are happy to select KB home as our first home.

Overall quality issues is the main concern

Home shopping is a long process, but once you find a place and are committed to a home, and then watch it be build up from the ground up, it’s an amazing feeling knowing you and yours will have a place call HOME, but issues do arise when you move in into a new home, you start to notice appliances are not what you expected, minor paint issues, I now somethings got over looked but once you create a list and got a hold of those in charge of making corrections, that’s the part I dislike…it’s been 2 months and some of my concerns HAVE NOT been met…

Delays have to be expected, due to the materials shortage, plus too many constructions at the same time. Two months behind schedule is likely to happen. Besides that, communication flows constantly from sales and project managers.

The experience was rocky at first! Sean helped navigate the issues and once Nemo came on, it kept getting better!

Patience is required but it’s worth the wait.

Buying a house with KB Homes was a great experience for me and my family. Since the first day we went to the sells office to get some information about the available properties, the sells staff be so professional and shows plenty of knowledge. They keep us in contact during the construction process of the house that we choose. Every week they sent us pictures and updates of the house. By the time of the house inspections the KB inspector a nice guy took us step by step, explaining the process of the different construction phases. The inspector took care of every detail that we found on the walk-in inspection and fixed everything the same day. For us that was an excellent customer service.
