Had a great experience from entering into contract to execution and closing.

Biggest criticism is the house needs internal soundproofing.

KB Home builders were easy to work with. Was informed weekly on the progress of my home being built. Quality of workmanship inside the home could be a bit better but the overall experience was great. Addressed all concerns immediately. Very happy with the outcome.

Everything was painless. The only thing I would say could have been done with more care was on construction. There are some areas inside the house that need more paint like up towards the ceiling. Our water spigot was also leaking and needed to be fixed. Our plants in front are dying but I guess that comes with the Arizona heat. Other than that, everything looked great.

Overall KB was easy to work with. They do weekly calls and checking to make sure the building and buying process is on track. With every build there are hiccups but they try to minimize this by checking in often

I am totally impressed with the team KB homes who help me choose and complete all necessary action to get through to our buying experience. Not the first time we purchased a new construction house but the customer servuce are next to none. Unfortunately there are some issues in the house since day one when we moved in. From the new installed appliances, breakers, lights, outlets to name a few. Not what I expect for a brand new house. All the personnel I came in contact with, was experience in their work and very knowledgeable. The home builders responded to my calls in a timely manner.

Home buying part was great very knowledgeable and communicative sales ladies We weren't able to choose the options for the house because it was almost completely built when we decided to purchase. We don't like The materials for (counter tops) the kitchen and bathroom I would have never chosen not durable for heavy use. Not enough windows in the house, rooms are very dark not enough natural light comes in, no outlets to install room fans, it would be very expensive to add fans to any rooms.

This was such a great experience for our family! We were guided from foundation up until the complete construction of our home. This was an exceptional experience as a first time home buyer!

Overall, I am happy with my new home. I am disappointed with the inconsistent communication with the warranty department. I was supposed to meet my rep after a month It's been almost 2 months and still not scheduled. The workmanship is a bit disappointing. I have two walls that are bowed. couple drywall returns around the windows were crooked and had to be fixed. I have a broken kitchen drawer and it feels like attention to detail was ignored. My Superintendent has been great! He's the reason I scored KB as high as I did. He fixed quite a bit that warranty should have handled. It would be beneficial for any homebuyers, to include first time homebuyers to be provided a warranty packets, so that they know what type of information, and what things they need to register their stuff that requires a warranty

We had a wonderful experience in our community with our sales team, and construction team. I hear your experience really depends on these teams. If you ever get Braxton, Jason, Diane or Lindsay you are in excellent hands. Our Superintendents stayed on top of the crews to put together a quality, and sturdy home. The home is incredibly well insulated, and blocks out external noise very effectively. This is likely because of the Energy Star certification. Since it's a new construction, you need to set your expectations appropriately: no home is perfect. There will be minor flaws and imperfections. You could spend millions on a completely custom home and still wind up with imperfections and things that were done weird. But you can focus on the big things (e.g. concrete, electrical, plumbing, the guts of the house, etc) and ask questions about the little things (e.g. Should the transfer grill rattle when closing the door?
