The sales experience with Severo and Jonathan was flawless. They both set the bar really high with the attention to detail and responsiveness. The construction portion matched the level of customer service set by Severo and Jonathan. Ray and Travis sent multiple updates a week and kept me in the loop throughout the process. There were multiple times we met up during construction to give me tours of progress and answer any questions. If there were any issues, they resolved them immediately. If I were to purchase another home I would request to work with these folks. However, I wouldn’t finance with KB unless there were good incentives and if I worked with Tanya. My original officer Jaimie, did not meet the expectations set but the rest of the process. No communication throughout the process unless I initiated the conversation but still took forever to respond if I even got a response. Did not educate me through the process so I felt I made poor decisions at the beginning. Didn’t explain things throughly. Towards the end of the process, Tanya took over and justified the wrongs. The initial shock of what the home doesnt come with was difficult to accept after visiting the design center. By that time they have your deposit, so theres no going back of you dont want to give away money. The sales people at the actual neighborhood site are amazing and bend over backwards for you. That is for sure! But the KB Home finance was a true horror show. Every conversation, every interaction was like pulling teeth and nothing was conducted the way it usually is with a finance group. Oh the nightmare. What a bunch of newbs. The title office, on the other hand, was amazing! So what is NOT included with the house, (that we think should be without being charged extra) is: cabinets in the laundry room, nickel plumbing fixtures, nickel shower enclosure in master, luxury vinyl in the living room (instead of carpet), hardware on kitchen cabinets, elongated toilets, pendant lights at kitchen island, fans in living and master. I will say that we are super impressed with the home insulation. Its by far the best insulation we've had...and we've lived in a lot of homes. The person who was supposed to check in on us after 30 days from movein asked my husband how things were after 5 or 6 days. I havent met the guy and wish I had cuz we need him now...nowhere to be seen and its been almost 2 months. Wish i had his number. You cant check on people's houses when theyre not even unpacked or moved in yet. Not great customer service after the fact. ... More

This is my first experience buying a home and there were overwhelming and high pressure moments but ultimately everything worked out.

Highly recommend KB homes. Top 5 in services and lovely homes with reasonable pricing in the Texas areas

I had a great experience with KB homes

plumbers should be more congnizant of framers when putiing in pipes. waist pipe in basement is not straight up and down and will make it very difficult to frame in a wall and have it perpendicular. not sure if this can be corrected or not.

Process was good. Diana was amazing. Once constriction started, it was ok. Learned that they will be fast and sloppy. We went every week to experience the "new built" saw issues even tho we are not builders. Told them so our closing date was not effective. The issue was accent lights. They missed that and many small things. If they want to earn credit for the amount they toon to build, still not impressed. The quality was disappointing. Now I have to sit here and get with people to come correct the job at my concinicence having to cancel my appointments to accommodate them. Live my home but won't ever buy from KB ... More

Jim in sales and Dan on the construction side were fantastic to work with. They provided regular updates and delivered the house ahead of schedule.

We could have been provided a lot more detail about the buying process and what actions were expected of us and your company. In the end, it all worked out for the better and we're very happy about our purchase. As with anything, there were serious glitches throughout the buying procedure and final purchase. Some of those glitches caused extra expenditures by us and delayed closing, considerably. We weren't happy when that happened and, at some times, wished we could cancel the purchase completely. But, we didn't do that and we completed the process and feel it was the right thing to do.

All departments were responsive to my questions and concerns. Love the finished product

The design choices available are awesome. The whole process from start to finish was well thought out. The KB team delivered, especially Marvin and Jeff. I love this house.

Tom was great throughout the whole process from start to finish. He was always very responsive and eager to help solve any issues we were running into. For the sales team, Iman also was very responsive and tried to satisfy all of our needs. At first, we were not too pleased with the process, communication, and updates we were receiving. We voiced those feelings to Iman and she listened to what we had to say and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our decision. We are still working through a few last hoops with their customer service and warranty department to get a few last things squared away, but the customer service team has also been very helpful. ... It was a great experience with KB team from the start to closing of our home. A good feel to see the building and working with every member of KB. However I felt we didn't get a fair treatment as regards payment and unnecessary charges at closing

Great Price point, building process was ok but could use some improvements in the communication area.

I liked how I got frequent updates on the house up until we moved in. I'm happy that we have the house to call our own, but not very satisfied with the quality of the work on the house. Albeit, I didn't ask for any upgrades, but the paint could've been done better and with more care. I get the sense it was built very fast so I do notice that we have to request a lot of things to be redone, like grout, caulking, or paint-touch ups. Like I said, I'm happy that we have a place to call home, but not very satisfied with the quality.

We love our home! It's extremely comfortable offers a great floorplan and is truly the best price per Sq Ft you can get in the Austin area. We would buy through KB Homes again. You do need to stay on their case about getting things fixed which can be frustrating at times, but ultimately they addressed all our concerns albeit not in the most timely manner.

Working with sales staff was excellent. Working with contractor was easy and most helpful. Working with financial staff and title company frustrating.

I am quite satisfied with the outcome of my home. I put a lot of effort to include high quality building materials towards the construction of my home. Whether It it is my ever home or not I felt that I cannot go wrong with putting some technology touch up to the house as well. I am currently enjoying this new house if my dream
