The entire process was great. Everyone from sales to financing to construction was professional and on point. Each department answered questions as they arose and were in lockstep every step of the way. Overall it was a great experience and I would buy with them again.

The customer rep, Ryan, for the builders that were actually building the home was great. Very informative, helpful, and responsive. There were a lot of minor fixable issues and overall some quality issues with the home. Things like scuffed baseboards, dents and small holes in the walls. A lot of it seems addressable and nothing major where it woule be unfixable has been seen or found. This is a review a couple months into closing so it will have to wait and see how the place holds up in a couple of years. I will say this from my title you can tell my experience was great with the individual departments above. However from the building process and dealing with the building superintendent that was my less desirable experience. KB needs to perform an overall of their building superintendent department and provide proper training. Building superintendents are suppose to be project managers and should be able tell customers exactly what’s going on with their home during the process. It took my house 11 1/2 months to be completed and that time included the closing date being pushed back 2 times. I understand COVID slowed things down but as a buyer things could’ve been handled better. And let’s be clear I was not one of those customers that was hard to deal with. I actually was very accommodating until my limit had been reached. The best plase to build your huse and realy good costumer service

We had a really good experience with KB. They were really nice to work with. And we do love our home. If we could change anything we would have liked to have more "nicer" upgraded options available and have a couple of more upgraded design options such as - interior wall insulation, customized interior wood work like crown molding, shiplap, cabinetry, etc. But overall we had a great experience and everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly.

After moving in calls for repair was ignored

over all we feel that it was a bad experience.

Overall good. But workmanship is a bit lacking. AC was installed incorrectly and stopped working less than 1 month of moving. We did not have AC during a weekend in the middle of the summer average of over 100. At first tried to contact the assigned rep for issues but did not received a response within 24 hours, after looking on the KB website, we finally got a hold of 24-hour warranty office to fix the issue. Also, some of the windows are not properly installed i.e. will not completely close. Carpets not properly installed, sticking tacks everywhere. They touched up some of it during final inspection but there are still tacks sticking out when walking on the carpet. Closets rail doors have some markings of screws holes. Closet shelves are not properly sanded and rough on some edges along with closet hanging rails. Overall materials are great but workmanship definitely needs work and maybe more thorough inspection. ... More

This is my second KB home and being familiar with their processes it made it less stressful.

Everyone was great from start to finish apart from some minor hiccups. Amanda, Jessy and MI made our experience great.

Great customer service from the sales team and construction management!

Customer care was very good. KB here in Raleigh has great staff - from the sales people to project managers, who take you step by step through buying and building process. The builders were very detailed in their workmanship and we had no problems with anything when we moved in. We used their home loan and insurance service as well. Loan officer was super. Only KB Insurance (CA) was the worst out of the whole experience. If you're considering KB Home in the Raleigh-Durham area, I give it a huge thumbs up.

I have been in the market for 6 months and was getting tired of counter offers and low-quality homes with high premiums. KB Homes provided me fixed price of house and upgrades, Top-notch location, and Move-in ready home. After purchasing our house in Comm Hill, they came in and fixed a bunch of small things which we complained about. Very happy with their response, cost, and overall hassle-free experience.

Overall the process was great. Our finished home was amazing. I am satisfied I chose KB homes to build our home. One thing I would suggest for future homebuyers is to know your model from the inside/out, to know if anything is missing.

How the Jonathan one of the Superintendent was helpful and always answering our questions. Always their when something needs to get done. How Demetrious is always trying to work with us with how things are and letting us know if things are getting done and else need to get done.

The home build itself is wonderful and what we asked for. The process of buying the home was the hassle. There was major communication issues with every aspect, KB reps, finance personnel, approval office, etc. There needs to be better communication to make the home buying experience with KB Home a wonderful process and experience.
