Sherry was fantastic as I have worked with her before purchasing my first home. It was a true blessing to walk in the sales office and see Sherry there. KB truly lives up to the reputation of Built on Relationships!! Between the sales team, the loan team, and Ruben our foreman the experience has been fantastic! Of course there are always issues after the final walkthrough and the customer service has been stellar answering all of our questions and are very prompt in their response on what needs to be addressed. Kb is cheap. The workmanship is not good. Most likely because the superintendent Greg doest not do his job right and has the guys working quick to make his deadlines. The materials are cheap too and they charge a lot for it. The solar we purchased is still not activated after almost 3 months. They should make sure everything is up and running before they hand you over the house. Our house was not finished in time but they told to sign paperwork and they would come back and finish. Were still waiting to have our house 100% Honestly a lot has happened throughout this purchase. They made us wait 8 months from beginning to end. When it should have been half of that time. Their excuse was that the soil density was not good and we needed to wait. They also said the materials were low. We never got a straight answer. But to top it off. Kb was our lender and the escrow officer almost cost us our house. He messed up the money amount we were putting down by not putting anything down and it made the loan go way up high. We almost signed that at Title and my husband caught it and it was on a Friday and it delayed us on the closing. And the escrow officer did not want to take blame. He said he was so busy with 22 more accounts. How is that our problem or fault? Anyway just be careful and remember to be vigilant with all things especially what you sign. ... More

Builder is great, we had little cosmetic issues but they are fix them all so far

Kept delaying the closing date with no remorse. Material is not as high quality.

Bad experience from the start. We were vastly misled from the beginning on when the house would be built. The sales team was difficult to get a hold of for any updates. There were things we were told during the sales pitch that turned out to be not true (i.e. the siding and roof was covered by the HOA, when groundbreaking and completion was... this was especially frustrating as we had an expiring lease and the house ended up being 3 months late). I will say once we got their leadership team involved, they did everything they could to resolve our issues. That is the only thing saving them from a 1 star review. ... More

KB builder is very reliable and practical home builder! KB offers ENERGY Star certified homes that helps new homeowner saves with their utility bills.

The follow up during the construction was great!

Everything seems to be an upgrade. The model homes are somewhat misleading but the prices of the upgrades are not bad. Overall pricing is alright but the timeline and follow up is not always the best. I have been living in our home for 3 months so far so good just some minor things need to followed up by w/ warranty.
