More front end attention to detail would eliminate the need for so many 'fixes' at close and periodic walkthroughs. Have built 3 homes prior to this one, never had so many 'fixes' at 30 days. Most are just sloppy trades work.

We are very happy with everything about the house. A few things needed to be fixed that are probably part of normally buying a brand new home but they were quick to schedule and come out. The only thing we were unhappy about was the extra carpet padding we bought because the installer cut it too short so you actually feel the wood stair under your feet and they didn’t pound all the nails down so that hurt. Again, In the process of having it fixed though And quick to schedule.

The whole process was very smooth with just the right amount of choices along the way. House was delivered on time (during a pandemic, even) but with a few workmanship issues. Resolving these has been ongoing, not due to delays but apparently from corporate KB interfering with the local office. But so far, we love our new house.

Nice and spacious

Paid alot of money and have alot of warranty items that could have and should have been fixed before closing. Closing was a horrible experience. Showed up at 10am for closing only to find out closing was cancelled and it wasn't KB Homes who told me about the cancellation or why. I had to make alot of phone calls that day to get to close. It was something that could have been avoided with a simple phone call on KB Homes part instead I had to make numerous calls to push the process thru. Double check your process the day prior to avoid any surprises. They won't call you!

Hello, Just wanted to say how much we love and appreciate our home. It’s everything we have dreamed of and more. There’s a few call outs that I have. 1st being our plumbing had multiple issues the first month when we moved in. We had a blockage in the pipes which created 2 leaks. Thankfully it was fixed with no charge. 2nd we had issues with our sliding door. Thank fully it was replaced but the fact that we had a new home we figured those issues shouldn’t occur since the home and materials are brand new. 3rd : The wood under our island has come OFF!!! We love to maintain and clean our home Atleast 2-3 times a week and we noticed with sweeping and mopping our kitchen floor the wood underneath our island was poorly installed and yet to be fixed since it has happened before our 30 day mark. Overall I appreciate everything but I believe it’s in my nature to make sure I give an honest review so the next customer doesn’t have any issues. ... More

Very pleased and happy. Even after closing Jeremy still in contact and promptly answer all my questions. Love my home!

we have to check that everything is leveled up on the backyard otherwise you can have a very unsettled grass

Sales department needs more training. We were told a lot of incorrect information. And they never followed up with concerns or communicate with the rest of the team in order to address those concerns properly. Sloppy worksmanship(mainly with paint job of exterior and interior) although our superintend was very nice. Several issues already only two months after closing. We were told there would be 10 day and 1 month check ins/follow up with customer service but we got neither. The only thing we are satisfied with was the design studio experience and consultant.

I know these are cookie cutter homes that are thrown together in less than a few months and I understand things won't be perfect but for the price I paid for the house I would argue the craftsmanship should've been better. Other than that I'm happy to be an homeowner!

Be careful when purchasing in this community. Many of our issues that were blue taped before closing went ignored and are still getting “fixed” 3+ months later. Lack of communication from building manager and lack of quality control. This is not our first home, nor our first KB Home, but the quality and craftsmanship has gone down. Disappointed for sure.

The house itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The quality of workmanship is decent, though the contractors sometimes leave much to be desired. Overall, we are grateful for the finished product and have enjoyed living here. However, after some time, we've noticed that certain shortcuts were taken during construction. It's important to be aware that while you'll get good value for your money, the building process tends to move quickly, and some corners may be cut by the builders.

The sales staff and design team were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, KB Home management were a disappointment. We put our deposit down and paid for upgrades but had to 8 months before they started construction. The management team kept pointing fingers at others without ever keeping the buyers informed.

Overall experience was very good. Sales and financing were excellent but, there were too many constructions flaws. some of them corrected before closing others after we moved in. At the end most of them were fixed to satisfaction on an average time frame. I think there is areas that need improvement specially after sales; warranty process needs to review process workflow, that will help a lot and will make the warranty/service more reliable and reduce the frustration on owners and also KB warranty team.

Overall, a good experience in this house, they do have details to take care of, but I'm happy and thankful!

A bit of a struggle to finish final punch list items.

It was pretty seamless for the most part. At a certain point in time, my on-site sales rep had been moved and there was no follow-up or redirect to a different rep who was still at the community. We kind of struggled on that aspect for a little as our only point of contact became either our Loan Officer , Tammy, who Was AMAZING, or Tony our project manager. Some questions felt like they needed to be directed to someone not even stationed at the property site any longer, and also having that sales rep presence would have helped with applying follow up to requests or inquiries made to the construction team and creating a sense of urgency to a necessary degree. In that sense there was a shortcoming from KB to not facilitate that process more seamlessly. Also, my cousin got a house down the street and was welcomed with a blanket and KB home box of other goods, we did not get so much care. Could really care less about that- however it goes back to the principle of the issue of not providing that same level of customer service and relations that we initially received and expected through out. As far as quality, every aspect has a human touch so nothing could really be perfect, however it did bother us that our studs, walls, and trusses were all framed after really heavy rain and thus made all boards muddy. We purchased the home and watched it being built. Interesting process and KB appeared to do a good job with that. We did have issues with things being incomplete right up to closing and then they scrambled to fix what was relatively little stuff; it was just super annoying to see (and mentioning them) these items right up to the closing walk-through. week after week. Som,e of the upgrades seem to lack bang for the buck the Gourmet kitchen just adds taller cabinets and supposedly better appliances. The lower cabinets are annoying since they do not offer drawers vs cabinets.. You find yourself on hands and knees looking for stuff. Argh.. There is little to no Smart home integration... I bought what I thought was a digital lock that ended up being a Z-Wave installation that, 2 months later, is still not working, and KB says your problem not ours. Again minor but very annoying. ...
