KB Home and its subcontractors did not install the flooring and portions of the baseboard in my new home correctly, within industry standards or within manufacturers recommendations/specifications. Throughout the build process the original superintendent and regional supervisor were dismissive and patronizing. They disregarded everything I said, they ignored all the information I provided them that supported my claims and they tried to make me feel like I was being unreasonable. They even questioned the validity of my research and supporting documentation, stating “[I] don’t know where you got your information from”, when I clearly provided source information in multiple communications. They also stated that they had spoken with the Contractors Board and the tile manufacturer and there were “no standards they were required to follow”. However, they was not able to provide anything to substantiate this claim. KB Home flat out disregarded standards set by an ANSI-accredited organization, the ICC and multiple manufacturer’s recommendations/specifications; the result is egregiously substandard workmanship and a brand-new home that insights anger and frustration instead of happiness and comfort. ... We are first time homebuyers, and we just happened upon the Centerra neighborhood. The KB sales rep at the office was warm, welcoming, kind, and informative. He wasn’t pushy and just wanted us to find the perfect house. Our loan officer was awesome too. He lead us step by step through the process answering all of our questions. Our construction superintendent was AMAZING! He kept in contact with us once a week and answered all of our questions. Watching our home progress week by week was just awesome. Our home came out perfect for us. We love it. And, bonus, we got some really cool neighbors.

This is a wonderful house

We had a wonderful sales experience and were pleased to be able to visit the house through the construction progress. However, once we moved in we found that there was something wrong in every room --cracked toilet tank, carpet that needs to be removed throughout the house due to "lumps" in every room, bending shelves in the pantry, and many more. The warranty team has been exceptional, but we wish they would have done it right the first time.

Those three listed treated me with outstanding care. They provided with insight, helped me, and still reach out to check on me.

The experience was good but the quality and materials can get better, I feel like kB used cheap materials just to put the house together.

Kevin, our warranty and repair guy, was on site and available during the buying process for any adjustments we needed. He was fast and easy to work with. Ryan, our KB Home sales representative, was also intelligent and responsive throughout the whole process.

Good buying experience but workmanship quality was subpar such as cracked tile roof, carpets, paint, cabinets trims. My recommendation is to double check all above before signing your closing paperwork. In my case, it seems all construction trade were rushing to close therfore having a lot of issues after.

KB Homes was the perfect choice for me. I was given weekly updates with pictures and progress, was educated on the energy star features, and was informed about what was being built every week with my house every step of the way. The staff were very professional and I'm glad I bought my first house with them.

A sales representative was very nice to answer my questions about KB Home, promptly informed us the progress of home building. I decided to buy a home from KB Home since price versus location and environment are good. Design studio experience were very good. He guided me every option in detail, explained the advantage and disadvantage kindly. So, I could choose the options that I needed while doing design selection meeting. They sent information every week by asking what we needed. They answered in detail and supported us regarding mortgage interest rate and helped us to adjust it very kindly and informatively. I was 100% satisfied with their supports. In every steps of building, the construction manager explained about progresses in weekly private meeting along with email and conference call meeting. especially, they carefully construct foundations with concrete with very good temperature at the time. Build manager checked very carefully if there were missing parts in every step and fixed it in right time. construction steps were done in timely manner. final tough-up was very good by checking every missing or defect parts. after closing, every broken part was touched by construction manager promptly. Thanks KB Home for building my new home. Home was ready 100% in every aspect, especially in air conditioning, waters, and so on. it was almost perfect. I am satisfied with warranty care staff. They fixed items that I asked by well-planned manner. usually, they were fixed 2 days in average. This measure was eliminating the delay because of my out of town plan. In overall, KB Home gives me a nice impression, especially in diligent building activities even in COVID-19 period. Building was done in time with good quality, especially in energy efficiency. The HERS® or Home Energy Rating System reported my home is 55 rating, which is lower the better. In average, new home's HERS score is 130. ... More

The process from start to finish was great and I'm very happy with my new home purchase.

I strongly recommend home buyers to hire a third party inspector at least for the frame walk and final inspection.

We bought the house through video calls, and arrived to actually see it 2 months after closing. It’s a pretty good house in a decent neighborhood. Through the buying process and afterwards, the KB staff were there and attentive to our needs and desires. I’m wishing we had seen it in person because it is smaller than expected. The garage is tiny. Room for 2 cars and zero storage, or storage with zero cars. The extra bedrooms are tiny. Room for a queen bed but no dressers. But it is a very nice house, and the staff were/are great
