Kept me informed all along the way

Had some issues with not getting the proper appliances that we ordered the length of time to get that situation fixed was a little frustrating. But overall it was a good experience

It was great and all the staff was good

Any follow up work that has been needed has yet to be followed up on and I’m well past my 30 days.

Home looks beautiful. Staff is great and some things were out of their hands but the overall experience has been good.

Our experience with KB definitely had its highs and lows. In the beginning of the build there was a bit of a foul taste and when considering communication from the studio the thought to pull out crossed our minds several times. It's really unfortunate the staff in the studio was not on point with descriptions and lacked in depth knowledge of options; their lacking lead to issues with construction and our overall satisfaction. We were fortunate enough to have a realtor, Shae Nickerson, that operated with what we wanted in mind from day one, up to and past closing. We were also blessed to be assigned Phil as our construction supervisor who honestly turned our experience all the was around and increased the star ratings. Phil was phenomenal, patient, responsive, responsible, open minded, diligent, thorough, thoughtful and hands down the best person to see our build to completion and then some; Phil definitely earned his kudos and 5 stars for responsiveness. We are happy with the home. However, we still have some issues with the home. Additionally, we recently found out that our property extends past the fence KB installed along the back of our property. We've learned that we need to maintain our property behind the fence, but we have no access to it. We also risk losing that portion of land we own to the neighboring development if it's not maintained properly.

Overall the experience was good and we would build again with KB. The finish line to closing was confusing and unnecessarily stressful and some things in the house aren't holding up like they should, like faucets and we haven't even paid our first mortgage. While they have been responsive, the means to fix the problems are a little inconvenient.

After 3 months of buying the home, several issues still remain. Some were fixed in a timely manner but others took a long time.

Our Overall customer service experience wasn't as pleasurable as I would have liked it to have been, But the ending results were captivating.

Buying experience could definitely be better. We went with another lender and got the vibe KB wanted us to choose their lender.

Couldve done better in building most especially being a big company.

Beautiful floor plan and love the house, but better quality control and better handling of issues with construction is needed.

The quality of the finishes was not what I expected for a half million dollar home. A few minor upgrades would have been appropriate such as dimmer switches on lighting, gas outlet in the backyard.

Lots of upgrades that drives tge home price up. But in our case we love the way everything came together!!

The quality of basic things such as toilets and shower heads, etc. are on the lower end of the price range of such items. Be prepared to pay extra for all upgrades on everything--Best advice is only pay for upgrades in construction (eg--added covered patio, extra bath conversion) that will be difficult to do later or if there is something you see/want that's really important to you--then upgrade the rest of your amenities yourself as often you will pay less for things like cabinet knobs and light fixtures elsewhere.

It was good considering it being our first time buying.

Everything seemed nice except the carpet and padding. It seemed thin and cheap.

Good house only issue is some items about 6 weeks over due

KB offers very appealing layouts and upgrades. Without going crazy on upgrades, I selected just the right amount to really create a beautiful home that I love. There have been issues that I’ve run into with the building of the house. Everyone at KB seems very responsive with taking care of what needs to be done, but I do have to constantly check in for everything to get done. I wish that there was a more organized way for KB to take care of their home buyers. I’m a single mother to 2 kids. Raising and taking care of them is my priority. I shouldn’t have to worry about remembering every little issue that I bring up to KB to ensure it’s completion. Genesis was the true motivating force. Kind, helpful and always keeping us informed. Design studio session would have been overwhelming if not for the supportive and positive attitude of our representative. Financial

Overall experience was good. We felt like the support staff did the best they could even though their responsibilities were stretched with the COVID restrictions and amount of homes being built.
