working with my construction manager gave me a sense of comfort that my home would be everything I wanted. I appreciate the Construction Manager who kept me abreast of every detail of the build.

Trina was an amazing sales associate! She was communicative, knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the entire process. Her weekly updates were always the highlight of our week and we are very happy we got to work with her.

Good KB Folks from sales to construction to financing

Any project will have issues, but KB did a pretty good job getting through them, especially with a large winter storm and the pandemic, amid labor shortages etc. Materials and methods used for the house however, are a bit subpar, and while it's rated as an energy efficient home, I can't say it's amazing. Lots of flimsy materials used, but for the money we paid, I feel like we got a decent deal, especially in the Austin housing market. I'd recommend this for a first time homebuyer or a younger couple.

As a first time home buyer the experience was easy. The foreman was responsive to my complaints/questions as well as the salesperson. The studio was an easy and smooth experience. As a prior construction worker, some things stood out to me. The structure of the home is solid, the finishing not so much. There were missing paint spots, short cut baseboards that were filled with caulk, mismatched door trim, extra caulk left in the corners where it should have been smoothed out, painters closed doors before paint was dry, etc. The backyard was not leveled properly which caused all the neighbors water to drain and stay stagnant in our yard. This killed our tree and grass. All of these items can be fixed, and the foreman made sure they were fixed. If you are looking for an absolutely perfect house to move into, ensure you have given yourself at least a week or more beyond the forecasted closing date for the builder to fix these problems. The one thing I have suggested to KB is the need for a quality assurance rep to walk the home before the customer does the final walkthrough. I feel this would mitigate customer findings and expedite the closing process. I did have an inspector walk the home, he did not point out the finishing issues I have mentioned. Kelly H. Who showed us the home- she is the main reason I bought the home. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the things in the home. Very polite and professional! Thank you Kelly! Hope F. helped me with all the financing info and paperwork to secure the loan. If I didn’t have her help to do this I don’t think I could have done that process by myself. Hope was AMAZING! AND- Mike the Foreman at the site responded to every phone call or text and helped get things working or put in work orders to get things taken care of properly! The personnel in the finance dept. was very helpful...

Everything has been great thus far just have a few minor complaints but nothing serious. The house has definitely been worth buying and I have also recommended some people to do the same.

Everyone is attentive to our needs

Overall a great experience! KB team is very responsive and is great at answering all your questions. Towards the end of closing they were great at fixing any problem that may have come up. No issues with any of our concerns. They were always on it and on it ASAP! We appreciate KB being there for us when we needed them and for always being so professional. Thank you!

Love KB Everyone you work with is with you all the way to the end. Received updates every week. And even months after I get a check up email. I don't like the cheap paint or the fact that you need to pay extra for your garage walls to be painted .
