A lot of wrong or incorrect items. A lot of excises on who needs to handle and work is still unfinished

I ended up paying a higher interest rate than promised when we locked the interest rate at the beginning of the buying process and the loan officer was not 100% truthful with me

My rating is based on a few things they will not fix or act like its not an issue.

I would not buy a KB home again

We had a great experience with KB Home from the beginning of the purchase process through construction and move-in. Everyone we worked with was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The team did a great job keeping us informed, answering our questions, and helping with any concerns along the way. We especially appreciated the time and effort the sales, design, and construction teams put into making the process as smooth as possible. We are very happy with our new home and would definitely recommend KB Home to other buyers.

We just purchased a home and everything from the sales to the design center to the loan process and the construction all went really well

The experience of buying ur KB Home was great! They have an app that gets updated with your progress and sometimes new pictures get uploaded. There have been some issues-like our water heater had a part that wasn't working. KB fixed it within days of me letting Brandy know. I do wish that the same paint used in the kitchen and bathrooms was used throughout the home. The flat paint is probably the worst thing about our new home. Everything else is great!

The building process was excellent, after they get their money and ratings, forget about getting anything afterwards, unresponsive they disappear like the wind. No help after the sale.

The interior and exterior workmanship is so so! Door frame and molding is already cracked, outside wall and frame under the roof is cracked as well! Not satisfied with price we paid! Should have been done a better job in terms of quality 😤!

First time meeting the lady that sold us our house was great. She actually was so great that she's the reason we went with the home we purchased. Other than the fact she told us mellos Roos tax wasn't included, but it actually was, she was incredible. As we got into the loan process, it got very daunting, confusing, and very frustrating but there was also a positive in this experience as we were able to get a really good interest rate. The lady that was doing our loan was nice, great personality, but she spoke very quick and as first time home buyers, she would say lots of things that didn't make sense to us and things that we had to continually verify with our real estate agent. She also gave us so many different loan quotes and as we got towards closing, most of the stuff she had showed us previously did not reflect what we saw on our closing statement. It felt like she showed us this preliminary paperwork just to get us to sign papers. We felt taken advantage of but didn't let that ruin the process. Builders offered us credits which really helped a lot. When we got all that squared away it was time to see our new home! Unfortunately this did not go as planned at all. The gentlemen that showed us our home literally knew nothing about the home. We asked many questions that we got answers like "I don't know" or "that's something you'll have to YouTube". We got improper instructions on how to set up certain things like our solar panels. We got a "sunrun" form when apparently it's not sunrun and now we can't even figure out who to reach out to for our solar panels that are not operating. With that being said, when we moved into the home, we thought everything would be working properly and ready to go. Not the case at all..the water was off for washing machine, they had to add our air conditioning unit that was charged to us as an upgrade, also had to add our garage key pad that was considered an upgrade not to sure what else was missing, but yeh trust just dwindled at this point. We went to use our dishwasher one day and the dishwasher wouldn't open because the toe tap was installed incorrectly, our doorbell didn't work for almost a week, the speakers that were in the ceiling, I had to connect myself, the light in the front and side of our house didn't have bulbs in them and now the lights in the front our house don't work and aren't ***** compliant. The solar panels on our home don't work properly. We've been getting charged the highest rate on our true up bill because of this. To make matters even worse, no one from the solar panel company came to check on the house, no one from the builders company came to do the "checks" that are listed, there was a whole birds nest under our solar panels that I had to get taken care of myself. When I asked the gentlemen about that when he first showed us our home, he told me that that was something they didn't take care of, then days later tells me that they're going to reimburse me for the expense. The lack of urgency on the part of everyone and everything is very infuriating and it has not been a good experience at all. Starting to regret even buying this home. ... More

The customer service after was horrible, no one follows up after the first week to see what was wrong, only after a month, right after we left a bad review. To this day they haven't followed fixed our issues or setup a appointment to fix the things around the house.

Since moving in there are just the little things that come over time while things are getting settled. the team responds in a timely matter to make the corrections, so you are not having to stress about them.

From start to finish, we felt supported by the KB Home team. Guidance during the sale process was so helpful especially as out-of-state buyers. The design consultant was a joy with which to work…so pleased with choices I made! Once building began, our sight manager kept us in the loop and has been great during and after the completion. The landscaping was thoughtfully done, too. I feel confident in the coming months that any issues that may arise will be addressed in a timely manner. KB Homes has earned our trust.

Very satisfied with our experience with KB as first time home buyers, now... please offer a "complete" backyard to your future home buyers.

We were impressed with KB Home's commitment to customer satisfaction. Any questions and concerns were quickly and thoroughly addressed. Build quality was very good, but there were a few minor problems all of which were fixed in a timely manner.

The kb lender was not good, but the agent was great and the house is good

Products used and how they end up show the quality. Grout all different colors, pain thin if you touch it will make mark, paint cracks in corners in less than 6 months, caulk messed up, front door isn't sealed at bottom, nails sticking out the sides of the cabinets scratching my stove. Tile uneven had to be redone and grout as well but after four times they cannot get it right.

[TRANSLATED FROM VI] Cracks started appearing in the exterior walls of the house, initially in small lines, then spreading to 7 or 8 lines. Even the parking space in front of the garage is starting to show cracks. I wonder what it will be like during the rainy season?

Quite good response until they got paid. Average build quality, way below international standard.

It would have made a difference to know up front that certain things could have been added, changer, or deleted, such as I could have had a gas hot water heater, but I didn't know until it was too late to change the building permit.

Buying a home is stressful. REALLY stressful. You hope that your realtor(s) will not contribute to that stress. We had almost given up on buying a house before our rental lease expired, and stopped by the Catania office on a whim to see what they had. They had just had someone cancel a deal and the house was available for our time-frame. KB prefers you deal with them directly, but we already had a realtor. KB wants you to use all of their services, including financing and insurance, but they are not pushy with trying to force anything, which is great. We were able to meet with the sales-person every time we needed to for inspections, drop off a check, whatever, they were always there. They allowed us to have our own inspector, and the list of items was as you would expect for a brand-new house. Only a few cosmetic items. Everything on our list was fixed and the whole house gone over with the property manager. We have had to contact support a couple of times for questions, and 1 issue (needed to replace a broken screen), and they took care of everything quickly. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars was because of pushing to change the closing dates. We had already set everything up for a specific closing and move-in, and at the last minute they wanted to move it up a week.
