The Sales personnel are very knowledgeable and professional, if you want a good quality home you have to pay for it, you don't get what you used to anymore, examples are bathroom medicine cabinet, extra or not included, driveway garage outdoor lights not included, lots are small, lot premiums are expensive, a lot of the neighbors don't keep up their yards,

Process was smooth and easy. Staff were amazing. Actual home attention to detail is not great. Carpet falling apart, bunching, and can feel nails on stairs and transition areas. Wood outside cracked, splintering, incorrect dimensions cut. Sharpie marks still on windows exposed cables wood pieces in cement

The process of the home building was smooth! The quality of the tiles horrible. Tiles were really dirty not happy about. You can see the caulking all tiles paint on the caulking horrible!!

Control from HOA is bad heads up

I think KB could use some updates with the kitchen appliances that they choose as well as updating the kitchen counter tops to give everything a more modern look, quality door knobs is a must!

Good overall for first time buyer, but it would have been better. Our cabinet had a few issues, so we have to replace a fews. But the installation date was not fulfilled on first appointment, so we have to reschdeule to get it done. I'm not sure if it is normal but we didn't realized until moved in is that the back yard had so many hazard materials on and in ground as we working on landscapes. But overall, I would definitely recommending KBhome. In fact, I already have many friends looking into it.

KB pays attention to complaints and resolves issues in timely manners

KB Employees have been fantastic to work with like Kirin, Thomas, and Daniel. However, it’s the trade partners KB has selected to use that brings your marks down. For example, our cabinets delayed the closing of our home several weeks, we are missing sensors for our HVAC, we paid for Ethernet ports at the design meeting which were ultimately installed, but wired to nowhere because no one notified us (including the consultant) that we would also need a panel in our laundry room. The Ethernet port issue doesn’t seem like a big issue to most, but now we are in our dream home and every work day my wife is reminded of the error because she needs to jump through extra hoops to connect to her work wirelessly instead of a simple hardwire. ... Overal I think the house is beautiful and was worth it. I think KB could do better in certain areas. Do not have windows facing the next house, change your construction plan to have better lighting in the house. Some materials used are cheap, but then again the house looks great. Customer service has been Stellar! I would buy a KB home again, but only if I get it built so I have the option to choose the plan and material. My closing was also hassle free!

I had some trepidation at first since it was a long distance transaction. Also our Sales representative left the company in the middle of our long distance build. However Christina jumped right in and took over like a champ. Jerry and Zach were also wonderful, kudos to both of them for seeing the build through to the end.

KB was great to work with in the process of buying a home. Each step throughout was handled with ease by the professionals and made me feel like I was missing something because it was such a smooth process. I would recommend KB Builders to family and friends.

It was an interesting process, just know your house won't be perfect you will find things that will need to get fixed.

Im very happy to buy this house

The one thing that I don't like is, the utility workers do not notify you when they will need to access your property. We already moved into our home and we had our side gate locked and just made it home from shopping, and my wife was in the bedroom changing and two guys jumped my back fence, she ran into the living room and told me she was changing and these guys came over the fence and I ran to the back of the house and I saw that they were digging in my backyard.They had no name tags or uniforms and I didn't know who they were and they didn't speak English, and with all the crime today it almost ended with me pulling my weapon One then was able to say KB HOMES AT&T and I figured out that they were contracted out to KB Homes for at&t digging cable lines. They should have put a note on my door or something because it could have ended very bad. Please make your workers identifiable and start knocking and putting notes on your door and letting you know when they have to go into your back yard, so they won't have to jump your back fence. ... My flooring started lifting when exposed to high temperatures. Leaks under all sinks and my heater was missing a lid.

My husband and I bought our first home with KB Home and it turned out better than we expected. Alexandria from the Home studio was very patient with us and allowed us to take our time and picking out the designs. Jayson did most of our financial information and explained/even extended himself to explain things. My one critique with the financing department is for them to allow buyers more time i.e a week at least to lock in rates or any other important decisions when purchasing a home, I did not appreciate being rushed into a decision. Lastly our super Joe, overall Joe did a very good job with his knowledge on the materials/making of the home. I can’t fully put this on Joe but we did feel rushed to closing even though it was quite a few important things not completely done with our home. We still have exterior items needing to be fixed and have not heard of an ETA on those fixings. Another thing I would like to add which really disappointed us, is the day we closed on our home the keys given to us by Joe to our house did not work. We planned on moving into the home the very next day and not being able to get into the home the night prior or not receiving any response after hours was disappointing. It's a positive experience building home with KB

Sales person, designer and contractor have been good! Finance on the other hand was not good, terrible information and was not there for us at closing. Didn’t answer phone or call back on day of closing as we had questions. Customer service for warranty, has terrible lack of time in responding. A simple “ working on it” would suffice but she prefers not to respond at all. Poor cleaning of construction after being in the house.

All sales staff and lender were very nice and professional

Great customer services but the material they use to build is not great. Finished are bad, no detail on finishing the job especially when they use local suppliers they used knockoffs materials. for examples, the granite they use on my island was cracked and glued and what they claimed it ( the supplier) fissures. Well I m sorry, that is not fissure that is cracked and glued granite. So the site manager should check on the projects when it’s done and not signed off until you actually see the material. Other than that, customer service is great

Sales ,design studio, loan , warranty teams are great! Quality of construction are poor some parts of the walls are looks like bending unbelievable.

I am still waiting for some issues to be solved.

getting discrepancies fixed in a timely manner would be the only thing that would make this experience most excellent. we've been in property 40 days, still waiting for thing to get finished.

Overall, the sales experience was a delight and I can't speak highly enough of Tanya and other members of the KB crew I have had dealings with. The floor plan is perfect for my needs and it's a wonderful area, neighborhood and neighbors. While I understand the current labor and supply issues have taken their toll and caused delays, there has been considerable post-signing lack of communication and getting issues resolved that - IMHO - shouldn't be that major of an issue. I keep hearing "we're working on it," "I'll get back to you." Yet they don't. Yada, yada, yada. My advice? Don't close until all is finished to your satisfaction. Otherwise it might be months before those literally minor but important issues that you have paid for are finally resolved. ... More
