Final result was a nice home with a few flaws. The process getting there was slow, poorly managed, significantly delayed and a last minute mad dash allowing for small flaws to be easily overlooked. Perhaps that's the strategy of the builder. Overall the project seemed chaotic with poor project management resulting in tons of contractor rework because someone isn't familiar with scheduling and order of operations to build a home. There were multiple instances where the proceeded with the project without a prior step completer. For example, hanging drywall without complete electrical resulting in drywall patches with mismatched textures. After moving in calls for repair was ignored

Good sales folks, good contacts, help during home finish and move in. Poor followup after move in, not responsive to little home finish issues.

There were all sorts of mistakes throughout the construction process, a few of which were major. It was difficult to get many of these addressed at all, let alone in a timely fashion. By the time we finally closed (after the closing date had been moved back many times), most of the problems had been addressed in a fairly satisfactory manner, but some problems remain today, since we were just not able to wait any longer before closing, and fixing some of these issues would require major demolition and reconstruction (e.g. entryway walls and corners being very far out of square). Overall, we feel like we got a pretty good value for our end product, but we did not expect as many problems as we encountered along the way, or having to be so repetitive and insistent in order to get obvious problems fixed. ... So much rework needs to be done the house feel like a rebuild or flip rather than new.

We moved with lot of expectations but it seems like expectations doesn’t work parallel with kb homes construction

Homes are nice for the most part. Be sure to do your research and stay on top of things along the way. Seems like there is too much pressure to give people there keys but not fix build issues right away, that shouldn't be there in the first place. Holding trades accountable would be a good start.

Very slow to react to any issues with our new home.

The material they used to build the home is cheap as well as the workmanship . For the kind of money I paid for the home it should have been better quality and workmanship !!!!!

Was very disappointed with the workmanship. Very sloppy. I closed May 26 here we are July 14 and still missing cabinets. Chipped tiles. a second sink was order in my upstairs bathroom last minute they said I need 900 dollars more. They put up the plumbing but no second sink. My cabinets where chipped my sink was scratched just crazy the amount of money u pay to put out that type of work.

I’m still waiting for issues to be resolved and for item already paid for to be delivered.

We had a wonderful sales experience and were pleased to be able to visit the house through the construction progress. However, once we moved in we found that there was something wrong in every room --cracked toilet tank, carpet that needs to be removed throughout the house due to "lumps" in every room, bending shelves in the pantry, and many more. The warranty team has been exceptional, but we wish they would have done it right the first time.

Not the best experience, definitely makes me doubt reusing kb home services in the fut

it's been over a MONTH almost two, that our garage door opener or electricity is not working in the garage. Ridiculous. My daughter's house - the kitchen sink fell down on mount. Leaked water everywhere.

Quadruple check your brick when it gets delivered, colors do not match studio. Double check all electrical. We had a plug that wasn’t even wired. Double check with your local paint store for the paint first. Our whole house is painted with paint they do not produce anymore. Therefore to fix a scratch. I have to paint the whole wall. Color can be matched. But paints are vastly different. Takes longer than they say it’ll take. Just add a few months. If they say June. Expect august/September. We were pushed back 3 months from our original date.

Builder does not response in a timely manner to fix issues. Have been in my new house for a little over a month and had issues with lights falling, sink not working, water heater leaking.

Decent home. Seems like hires crews rather finish work quickly than provide quality work.

Need to improve the quality and workmanship of the homes. There’s a lot of issues with appliances, cabinetry and lack of quality with the finishing touches of the home. Need more attention to details specially with the design center. Lots of mistakes with the choices so it’s back and forth communication to get things resolved is painstaking. I don’t have any complaints with the sales person. Paxton is always on top of any issues and concerns given to him.

They claim that you have a full warranty, but getting things taken care of is like pulling teeth. Wouldn’t go with this builder again.

Home still has a few things that need to be fixed: Garage does not work. Patio ceiling fan does not work. Faucet water smells horrible

Still waiting on drawer for guest bath. Move date 3/19/2021 2 months still waiting

If I want to fix all the issues in my new house, Will they have to make the house a part and put it again.

KB cares a lot about their official rating, they tell everyone to give them the best rating with the promise that they will resolve any underlying issues with the home post sales but they don't want the customer to include their true feedback in the rating survey. Everyone was attentively calling me until the 1 month rating survey came through and radio silence since then. Of course, they quietly retrieve and their service goes downhill after the purchase is finalized. Their rating means nothing given how they play the game. The red no parking zones in the streets were not disclosed to us. Nor was the parking on only one side of the street. Didn't know we were getting a small kid size toilet for one of the restrooms. My heater was not working on move in. After move in there is way too much construction going on and I'm in the middle of all that noise.

After the purchase of my home was completed, the issues that were remaining to be resolved have still not been resolved fully and it’s been 3 1/2 months. I can’t get anybody to respond to my messages even though they told me they will stay connected with me for six months and that they won’t forget me just because the purchase is completed. I have learned that that is not true
