Superintendent is just talked and no action. He just talked nice and ask us to give good review. He gave us temporary garage door and the one we suppose to get need to be wait for 14-16months. We are paying mortgage and we don't get what we pay for.

Besides what I just indicated the construction part of the experience I would hope K B has a more hands on approach rather let things come to a stop before someone did something to fix the problems. Its called Management oversight.

The workmanship is one of the major keys that makes the house not worth the price. Everything was so thrown together and now we have to deal with asking them to fix several things that appear to be KNOWN issues but overlooked just to go ahead and secure the sale.

I have reached out on multiple times to the superintendent, Luke, with no response.

Long time we waiting for this house and the price increase to much from the waiting time

As far as the sales team goes, everyone is great. However, when it comes down to the wire and we look at the quality of home you are getting, I definitely feel that I was shorted. I have had multiple issues since purchasing the home and most of them are from poor workmanship and/or carelessness of the building team. I have had some of the issues handled however, it has been about 2 months since I moved in and I am still waiting for some resolution. I ended up hiring my own electrician to fix the wiring but there are many issues left untouched. I might be the one in a million bad egg home but, given the information on the quality of home, had I known this before, I may have chosen to take my money elsewhere. ... More

I am making the house into a home, but there are some things, mainly cosmetic, that should have been taken care of beforehand. The home has the potential to be great, but for right now, I can say that it is good. The sales team was amazing. The floor plan is awesome. I just feel that the "small stuff" was rushed and overlooked by whoever was to inspect it during the process.

process was inline with expectation, in regards to the time it took to build the home and close. The closing process was messy and a lot of back and fourth between KBH and title company due to errors in the paperwork, it was very stressful. I was unware of the large slope in the backyard which takes away half of the backyard, 20 ft vs 40 ft. Additionally, the tree in the backyard has not been removed as promised even though its on my property and was supposed to be removed prior to building. Cant get anyone in KBH to give me a straight answer as to when it'll get removed. Somewhat regret buying this home, while definitely sell this home in the near future. ... More

Visit the home site on a regular bases, the builder will try to get away with the craftsmanship. At the end the cosmetics will hide major problems. Point out every single issue as you see it and take pictures. And don't sign for the house unless you are completely satisfied with everything you chose to be installed.

GIF in laundry room pop whenever you do laundry. Lawn sprinklers don’t work and my lawn looks dead. Large hole on side of house that we were told would be fixed but still hasn’t. Worker came to fix garage door opener and proceeded to hit the exterior of our house with a ladder and put two holes in the stucco. We caught the worker trying to paint over the holes instead of fixing that stucco. There is no power to our doorbell. Furnace just stopped working tonight. Very frustrated and disappointed.

It was our dream to have a home and at the beginning our experience was pleasant. However, we can’t believe it’s just COVID that has made our experience decline so drastically. If we would have waited to have our home just right we would still be living out of motels and friends homes. We have reached out to warranty multiple times and have had no response. Great reviews are wanted but not warranted.

After 2 months I'm still waiting for fake stuff

Sub standard material and selections were offered based on the price of the house. As an example the primary bathroom vanity cabinets have no drawers for storage, unlike earlier phases and model homes, closet door selection was sub standard as well, they had no real options for stair railing options. I could go on and on these are just a few items I had to start a list because it got that bad. When comparing the KB homes in this community to the KB homes in Irvine (which are priced comparable) the selections and quality are night and day. time consuming process ,it took longer than expected from start to move in.

Our house was 2-3 months delayed due to 1 person. Our lawn is the worst lawn I have ever seen due to a bad quality sod product and install. KB Home seems to think the problem will go away on it's own and are sitting on their hands.

I dont feel like they genuinely care about their costumers. They will ignore most of your concerns during the construction. You will not be compensated for the money and time lost because of their faults. They only care how much profit they can make without using high quality workmanship.

We signed our contract in January and we closed on our house November 5th. Communication was a nightmare! I had to reach out to them to ask what the status was each week. Unfortunately, we were lied to about a lot of things including the corporate office/permit department dropping the ball on ordering our permit. Thankful for Russell, who got involved with us and helped smooth the process but I can’t say the same for the so strict job person Trevor who was responsible for communicating with us from the meadows. He had absolutely zero customer service skills. The biggest disappointment was the quality of work done on the walls with, texture and paint. Looks like my 6 year old did the work and it still looks horrible even after they sent some people out to apparently fix the issues. The overall quality of work was rushed and not done the way you would expect when you are paying over 300,000 for a house. Hopefully they will hire new people and not continue with the guys who were drinking on the job doing our tape and float, texture and paint work. Something definitely needs to change! This is the first home I brought from kb, it will be the last one as well. The materials kb used were cheap and work was rough. The new house came out with a lot of problems. Feeing like builder was not professional at all and not knowing how to build a house. There were not a lot of options to choose from design studio. We were so glad that we didn’t choose refrigerator and dry and washer from kb. We were pretty disappointed at kb home.

It was not a great experience for the first time

Sales was rude, unresponsive and apathetic. The construction crew was not much better. There were several items that were not broken or not properly installed that they tried to hide as if I would not notice. The only positive was the finance team.
