After the key turn over I inspect the house and hvac drip line was not completed, water over filled up on hvac over flow tray. contractors left bottle waters and a mess in the attic(unprofessional workmanship). Sprinkler have a trouble short circuit(took over 2 months for contractors to come out for repair. Flooring have multiple damages in multiple places. Chips, on cabinet/walls, loose trimmings, hood system duct work installation is poor, tub have a crack. Still haven't heard back from Carlos who works for KB. Says he is the one we contact for all issues over the next 2 years but we rarely get communication back and when we do it's to tell us a false date and time for the contractor he hired to fix our backyard as it continues to worsen and dates keep getting pushed we have yet to have anyone come out to offer resolution or even assess the yard for what needs to be done.

My house was way to rushed. My garage door doesn’t work, my porch lights don’t work, my cabinet hasn’t been fixed yet, and the painting on the house was pretty bad. Just wish my house wasn’t rushed i should have to many problems moving into a brand new house. Also no one answers the phone when i need things fixed

Lots of work post close

We’ve already had several work teams come out within just a month of closing and still need so much more. Plus when they did come out, they used the wrong color grout. Have had a replacement window for over a month and no one to replace it and our attic door doesn’t even shut. Would not buy from KB again.

Pat superintendent did not keep his word. I felt like we were forced to sign the final inspection papers. When we moved in electricity kept on going on and off. Maintenance or customer service will be a 2 for me

We had great experiences with the sellers in this KB Home neighborhood. They explained things well and were attentive to what we were looking for in a home. They were patient with us as first-time home buyers and they celebrated with us when we were able to pick up our keys. When we did our walk-through, the contractor was very thorough in explaining how things worked, who to call when, and the best practices for the plumbing and electrical. Very lousy customer service. The window in the living room was not squared. They say they were going to come and fix it but never showed up. Does not respond to calls and e-mails. Very frustrating.

KB Leadership clearly just throws their customer facing reps to the wolves & leaves them hanging with little to no true managerial support. Its sad, its just hard to see the age old concept of a 'faceless corp.' at work... This company clearly cares about profits & investors far more then they could ever care about the person that is spending their life savings on their product? Too bad, they could be such a better company if they just tried to listen & understand their customers concerns...

The kitchen cabinet (style and color) selection was not to our liking. There was very limited choice. In the end, we had to repaint the whole cabinetry. Also within month of moving-in, one of the cabinet drawers door fell down - poor quality and materials.

We've had a few problems. 1: heater was never hooked up properly. 2. Whole house fan stopped working after trying to turn it on once. 3. Communication to customer was lacking or non-existent. 4. Brand new countertops were faulty and had to all be replaced. Communication to Construction crew on behalf of Customer was lacking or non-existent. All our problems were eventually fixed, but they really were fixed thanks to construction crew because KB themselves did not communicate to construction crew or customer very well. The people were great, but the construction was not. I can tell their homes are quick construction builds with many mistakes throughout, and the community is not done (shutters are missing paint, dents in the gutters, paint missing on buildings, etc.). I have submitted numerous requested for repairs and haven't gotten many follow-ups.

Final result was a nice home with a few flaws. The process getting there was slow, poorly managed, significantly delayed and a last minute mad dash allowing for small flaws to be easily overlooked. Perhaps that's the strategy of the builder. Overall the project seemed chaotic with poor project management resulting in tons of contractor rework because someone isn't familiar with scheduling and order of operations to build a home. There were all sorts of mistakes throughout the construction process, a few of which were major. It was difficult to get many of these addressed at all, let alone in a timely fashion. By the time we finally closed (after the closing date had been moved back many times), most of the problems had been addressed in a fairly satisfactory manner, but some problems remain today, since we were just not able to wait any longer before closing, and fixing some of these issues would require major demolition and reconstruction (e.g. entryway walls and corners being very far out of square). Homes are nice for the most part. Be sure to do your research and stay on top of things along the way. Seems like there is too much pressure to give people there keys but not fix build issues right away, that shouldn't be there in the first place. Holding trades accountable would be a good start.

The material they used to build the home is cheap as well as the workmanship . For the kind of money I paid for the home it should have been better quality and workmanship !!!!!

Was very disappointed with the workmanship. Very sloppy. I closed May 26 here we are July 14 and still missing cabinets. Chipped tiles. a second sink was order in my upstairs bathroom last minute they said I need 900 dollars more. They put up the plumbing but no second sink. My cabinets where chipped my sink was scratched just crazy the amount of money u pay to put out that type of work.
