We had a wonderful sales experience and were pleased to be able to visit the house through the construction progress. However, once we moved in we found that there was something wrong in every room --cracked toilet tank, carpet that needs to be removed throughout the house due to "lumps" in every room, bending shelves in the pantry, and many more. The warranty team has been exceptional, but we wish they would have done it right the first time.

it's been over a MONTH almost two, that our garage door opener or electricity is not working in the garage. Ridiculous. My daughter's house - the kitchen sink fell down on mount. Leaked water everywhere.

Quadruple check your brick when it gets delivered, colors do not match studio. Double check all electrical. We had a plug that wasn’t even wired. Double check with your local paint store for the paint first. Our whole house is painted with paint they do not produce anymore. Therefore to fix a scratch. I have to paint the whole wall. Color can be matched. But paints are vastly different. Takes longer than they say it’ll take. Just add a few months. If they say June. Expect august/September. We were pushed back 3 months from our original date.

Need to improve the quality and workmanship of the homes. There’s a lot of issues with appliances, cabinetry and lack of quality with the finishing touches of the home. Need more attention to details specially with the design center. Lots of mistakes with the choices so it’s back and forth communication to get things resolved is painstaking. I don’t have any complaints with the sales person. Paxton is always on top of any issues and concerns given to him.

KB cares a lot about their official rating, they tell everyone to give them the best rating with the promise that they will resolve any underlying issues with the home post sales but they don't want the customer to include their true feedback in the rating survey. Everyone was attentively calling me until the 1 month rating survey came through and radio silence since then. Of course, they quietly retrieve and their service goes downhill after the purchase is finalized. Their rating means nothing given how they play the game. The red no parking zones in the streets were not disclosed to us. Nor was the parking on only one side of the street. Didn't know we were getting a small kid size toilet for one of the restrooms. My heater was not working on move in. After move in there is way too much construction going on and I'm in the middle of all that noise.

Forget you after the buy

After the purchase of my home was completed, the issues that were remaining to be resolved have still not been resolved fully and it’s been 3 1/2 months. I can’t get anybody to respond to my messages even though they told me they will stay connected with me for six months and that they won’t forget me just because the purchase is completed. I have learned that that is not true

We gave you an excellent review when we first moved in, but since then we have had a bad experience with Sunpower. We had solar in our previous home and wanted to use our previous contractor, but KB required us to use Sunpower. We closed escrow on Dec. 2, 2020, and we still do not have solar activation as of Feb.17, 2021. Sunpower can give us no good reason for the delay. They said the City had the wrong address on the permit. (sounds like an excuse from Sunpower) When we called Sunpower, we talked to someone in the Philippines and then someone in Texas. My experience with KB was pretty great until closing came. First they picked a day for the final walkthrough and did not give me an option. I was told to show up at this time to inspect before closing. When I got there the house was in totally disarray and not close to being finished. Construction manager said he would have it move in ready within the next 5 days. I showed up 7 days later work that was agreed upon was not finished and Moore damage had been done due to trying to finish quickly. Overall I had to go back and forth four times each time was better but not what was promised. I ...

Jeffrey the Sales person was very friendly, professional and communicative when addressing any questions in regards to the sale. I was not pleased that after I had placed a deposit on the home, I was sent an amendment that the Model Home I was purchasing was being sold AS IS. The AS IS status was not addressed with me by the seller before I put a down payment on the Model Home. Sarah in the sales office was amazing. Roger superintentent of construction was awesome as well. Lots of flaws in the KB designs ithat they didnt care to fix for me. Received crappy counter top design that they didnt care to make right. Will have to fix myself.
