Overall smooth process and everything was clearly explained.

At first any issues were fixed quickly but now it’s taking a long time to get things fixed. Our back patio cracked after living here about 1-2 weeks and no one has come out to fix that yet, as well as our front walkway crumbling at the corners. Then we discovered a leak in our kitchen window about 3 weeks ago and still waiting on someone to fix. About a week after closing we submitted a request due to the kitchen cabinets having numerous scratches, dents, and black markings on them. I did pay for the most expensive cabinet upgrade and am very disappointed with the quality of them. We also upgraded to vinyl plank flooring which was supposed to be durable, but we have already made multiple deep scratches from minimal use and no kids or pets. Price was very expensive and the quality isn’t there. Our bathtubs have red markings on them that I can not seem to remove no matter what I try, backsplash is cut uneven in some places and grout is sloppy. Caulking was done but sloppy. Trim work is pretty bad, almost every corner is cut wrong, and there are some areas with deep scratches on it that we’re never fixed. Also upon moving in they got hundreds (not even exaggerating) paint drips all over my floors that we had to crawl around and try to scrape up, and even 2 months later we still have paint drips on the floor. KB has been great throughout the whole process. Even after moving in KB follows up to make sure there are no issues and if there is anything needed. Any issues or questions have been handled in a timely manner. Great experience!

This is my first actual new home I’ve ever purchased. Prior to my purchase I had a used home that was made by KB when I lived in SoCal. I’ve never had any issues with that house that I previously lived in, and that was the main reason why I decided to make my first home purchase with KB. In my personal opinion it seems as if there has been a decline in the craftsmanship and focus on quality for my specific home I purchased. However, my property custom service is KB’s saving grace. He working extra had to right all the wrongs I’ve experienced since I took delivery of my home. We still aren’t done, but I have confidence in in his abilities to address all of my concerns. ... We are extremely happy with our purchase of our new home with KB Home. As a 1st time home buyer I am still blown away that I am a home owner. After spending 4 years in an apartment I never thought I'd be able to escape the Apartment life. That is until we stumbled upon KB Home and set a plan to make our dreams become a reality.

If you had asked me if I were to be a KB home owner five years ago, I would have said you're joking. It seems KB Home has performed a complete 180, possibly by hiring new blood, but the upgrades and overall experience was as best as one would hope, especially being a new home buyer. Weekly updates by our agent Josh, was nothing short of impressive. To see our home progress week-by-week was quite the experience and added to our overall excitement in moving into our new home. Even though my wife and I visited the design studio 5-6 times, the staff (Allison) was absolutely the most patient and friendly person we'd run across in our entire KB Home experience. My wife was previously a home stager and designer from the bay area, so meeting her vision was something Allison had no issue assisting with. I was utterly impressed by the craftsmanship of the home in each of it's stages, especially when we did the initial walkthrough pre-drywall. It was impressive to see how fast the home was being built, with out issue. During the loan/underwriter phase, I was not feeling 100% with the communication between the lender and myself. It would have been better to be aware of all of the needed documentation at the beginning, rather near the end. As the process seemed extremely rushed and caused my wife and I to feel a bit stressed about ensuring we'd meet the escrow guidelines and title dates. The two lenders, Marcus and Scott were good, but the underwriting experience was pretty horrible, but didn't phase my overall 5-star rating, though please look into polishing up some of the processes leading to the underwriter phase. After move-in/construction complete, we did find a number of discrepancies, including some that weren't addressed such as the doors not fully closing due to the alignment of the knob and bolt. Rather than having someone come out, I decided to repair it myself. It seemed as though the speed in which the house was built did leave a little bit of quality out of play. Aside from the expected paint issues, there were a small number of issues that could have been prevented if the installer would have double checked their work. The KB representatives after move-in have been extremely helpful, even though I feel the issues should have been caught/repaired prior to move-in. I would recommend KB to anyone, especially due to the upgrade options. My wife and I spent about 80k worth in upgrades, which has helped us create our dream home (only wishing we had a 3-car garage option). ... More

This entire experience was a God Send for us during this time of Pandemic. The building Superintendents Jose and Dennis went the extra mile for us as well as Natasha, Sonia and Diana with financing and Customer Satisfaction at our site. The design center agents also made this a memorable experience for my family and I as this was our first new home purchase from the ground up. I will definitely recommend family and friends to KB.

As a first time homebuyer, KB Home made my first experience enjoyable and exciting! I picked out pieces at the KB Design Studio that fit my style, sat back, and watched my first home come together. KB took care of any issues along the way making the process stress free. I am happy KB uses top recognized brands for all products and love that they build energy efficient homes. I highly recommend to use KB Home as your home builder.

We love the community and overall the home. We also really like the location. We have a hard time understanding why we were given false info on flood zone. Whether it’s going to be remapped or not, upper management has stated it will be. The correct info should be given to the homebuyer.
