Aldrin, excited to move into our new house

Overall a good experience in building.

Great customization options for your home! The construction crew are great and very responsive and helpful. Just wish we would have started new build before rate hikes. Very pleased with our new home. It was a long process with ups and downs but glad we proceeded.

Home buyer experience was fine. Quality of materials used are fine. Major construction of the home itself is fine. Many details and follow through not completed appropriately.

My husband and I felt our second home buying experience went smoothly with the exception of delays which at times couldn’t be helped. We enjoyed the sales office personnel and the ladies were both very helpful and prompt. The complaint that we have is that several things ( crooked drawers, crooked appliances, crooked fences) were installed poorly the first time then the tradesmen had to come back to install correctly a second time. A better eye for detail needs to be embraced so that there isn’t poor workmanship passed on to the owner and more work later for KBHomes.

We had some pandemic quality issues but those are being resolved by KB Homes now.

It was disappointing that there was water leaking in the walls after we closed. We had to live with holes in our walls for a couple weeks after that. We originally were given an upgraded oven because of backorder issues but the day of closing, a worker broke the glass so we had to be downgraded to what we originally going to get. Understandable but I wish we could have kept that upgraded model. Not all the holes were sealed and there was exposed wood that had to be dealt with after closing as well. Just your typical new low budget but high price tag new construction builder. Corners were cut in order to get to next house. It appears that some processes were done by unskilled workers because the end result looks unfinished unprofessionally done. Overall decent house but could have been better considering the price.

Love the new home. Staff were approacgable and friendly. Construction encountered delays but overall a great experience. Warranty program is also very good

Finding our next home was very important. We were downsizing and looking for something new and ready to move in. Lucky for us we found the very first available home in Alderbrook and it became available at the perfect time.

We are not satisfied with the quality of the house delivered by KB Homes, we had higher expectations based on what they show on their social networks.

The overall process is really smooth and pretty easy to navigate. The staff is knowledgeable and responsive. We are pretty happy with our house and the construction quality but the finitions (paint, trims, baseboards, drywall alignment, etc.) didn't meet our expectations. Finally, the only thing we disliked in the process was the closing experience which felt rushed and pushy.

Overall the experience was good. Took longer than we would have liked, but it's understandable given the world situation right now. Communication with the super, Ken, and sales agent, Jon, were great. Some workmanship is a little lackluster. The are obvious used of the wrong paint type visible in areas (semigloss instead of eggshell), installation of clearly broken cabinets and backsplash left as "good enough", the complete wrong bathroom courteous 6 installed, wrong sized mirrors (we still don't have any a month and a half later), and very crooked hanging of fixtures. We've been ensured the majority of our issues will be fixed, but it seems to be on a back burner for everyone but the super who seems frustrated he can't get people to fix our issues. Everything was relatively smooth. We thought that everything would be perfect and there are some flaws but that is to be expected. Overall experience 8 out of 10 just because we were in contract for so long with so many delays that wasn’t really communicated in the best way

I email a few fixes around the house and heard back from the the next working day. Someone came out to fix the items needing to be fixed. One of them had to have an electrician come out and it was all taken care of pretty quick. I'd like to thank them for their quick response.

Disappointed how they left concrete in my backyard even though I asked to make sure they didn’t after they poured my patio before escrow closed and they’ve never cleaned it up. Home overall seems okay

Just really stay on top of your house being built

Building experience was ok. Little attention to details with the finished product.

We have been wanting a new home and so we paid KB Homes a visit. The salesperson Lori was so friendly and helpful told us that there was a house available and if we were interested. We agreed and gave her the needed information and we were approved! The rest is history! We love our new home! Thanks KB Homes for answering our prayers!

I am happy about my purchase, however felt for a first time buyer it could have went better

Warranty man crazy. Spent 30 minutes in our house telling us what's not covered very rude. Cash to close a joke, I had to get another check at Navy Federal 2 hrs before appointment. KB team at Austin title. Blew it on HOA fees. Not all were listed. ie There were 2 transfer fees. I only knew of one. They should have known what the fees were. Had to find out the hard way on my own. Goodwin & Company is not easy to deal witrh.

Overall great experience. It was great to have so many options and be involved
