Has been very good in dealing with home builder great customer service.

Overall the experience was good. Took longer than we would have liked, but it's understandable given the world situation right now. Communication with the super, Ken, and sales agent, Jon, were great. Some workmanship is a little lackluster. The are obvious used of the wrong paint type visible in areas (semigloss instead of eggshell), installation of clearly broken cabinets and backsplash left as "good enough", the complete wrong bathroom courteous 6 installed, wrong sized mirrors (we still don't have any a month and a half later), and very crooked hanging of fixtures. We've been ensured the majority of our issues will be fixed, but it seems to be on a back burner for everyone but the super who seems frustrated he can't get people to fix our issues. Everything was relatively smooth. We thought that everything would be perfect and there are some flaws but that is to be expected. Overall experience 8 out of 10 just because we were in contract for so long with so many delays that wasn’t really communicated in the best way

I email a few fixes around the house and heard back from the the next working day. Someone came out to fix the items needing to be fixed. One of them had to have an electrician come out and it was all taken care of pretty quick. I'd like to thank them for their quick response.

Disappointed how they left concrete in my backyard even though I asked to make sure they didn’t after they poured my patio before escrow closed and they’ve never cleaned it up. Home overall seems okay

Just really stay on top of your house being built

Building experience was ok. Little attention to details with the finished product.

We have been wanting a new home and so we paid KB Homes a visit. The salesperson Lori was so friendly and helpful told us that there was a house available and if we were interested. We agreed and gave her the needed information and we were approved! The rest is history! We love our new home! Thanks KB Homes for answering our prayers!

I am happy about my purchase, however felt for a first time buyer it could have went better

Warranty man crazy. Spent 30 minutes in our house telling us what's not covered very rude. Cash to close a joke, I had to get another check at Navy Federal 2 hrs before appointment. KB team at Austin title. Blew it on HOA fees. Not all were listed. ie There were 2 transfer fees. I only knew of one. They should have known what the fees were. Had to find out the hard way on my own. Goodwin & Company is not easy to deal witrh.

Overall great experience. It was great to have so many options and be involved

My overall experience was good. Unfortunately due to covid communication had big gaps and prolonged delays.

KB has a good variety of floor plans and is focused on energy efficient homes which is a nice feature. You are limited on structural changes and upgrade items but overall it's a good value and well built home. They are easy to work with including their loan department and will work resolve any issues you may have.

The experience was fairly easy and yes, the value of the house is unmatched as it is a new build. However, communication could have been better regarding a realistic timeline. We were originally told our move in date would be Oct - mid Nov but it could be delayed. Then, we were told it was delayed to December, then to beginning January, then to late January or early February. We finally closed at the very end of February. However, the originally timing of events communicated to us such as the pre carpet orientation / final walkthrough were all extremely rushed. The pre carpet orientation was supposed to be around 45 days before closing. However, this was only 2 weeks before closing. A couple days after, we were doing the final walkthrough. This happened because we had gotten word that we needed to close by the last week in February but this wasn't communicated to us until the beginning of February after having asked for weeks on end. ... The builder is very good when you check each stages of the building process in your house, if you forget anything you paid for during upgrades you will not get it in your house as they have so many houses they are building at the same time. Overall if you let them know what you paid for, you will get it in your house.

KB team provided great customer service and communication throughout the build process. Attention to detail in the initial planning and continuous communication was key to ensuring our home was built to plan and our expectations. We had two significant issues during our build. First was a three month closing date delay as a result of material supply chain and labor shortages. The second was quality of workmanship completed by contractors due to labor shortage. We feel the KB team did their best to provide us a quality, on time product. We would recommend KB.

Overall I'm satisfied. The big problem was that It took very long time to finished the house, so I couldn't do my 1031 exchange.
