I do not recommend buyers to go with KBHS lending. They are awful to work with. They do not communicate well with the home buyer to the sales office to the Title company. It’s hard to reach them and only via email. From sales office to customer service to construction, they were great to work with.

Home is in good condition, there are details in the house that could have used some extra attention.

The process was ok. There was some times where multiple conversations needed to be had but overall, i am satisfied.

Important to be fully engaged in the production process. Pay attention to details and take proper notes: who, when, where, and why. Especially the pre-walk-thru, and final walk-thru before closing. Punch list completion after closing is onerous, some issues still open six (6) weeks after closing.

Just customer services is good, I am happy to got home.

House was built according to plans, things went smooth from beginning to end. There were some minor issues that the builder had to come back to fix, but overall things went well. Good customer service, good construction manager, good warranty service, and good studios inventory. The reasons I didn’t give the 5 stars was because we found lot of crack on the garage floor foundations, and front porch. We also found three same long crack on the door molding frames. There were a few dents on the door molding frames, and the house was not clean when we moved in.

Homes are very Pretty. They tell you that their homes are special and all the different things they do that others don't (supposedly). They told us the sub-flooring is laid down a special way so that you never get creaky floors, but we have only been in our house for a month and already the floors knock and creak. Also if you have children, do not let them in your backyard until you have a chance to get it fixed up looking how you want it. Their construction crews leave nails everywhere and the yard dirt is filled with them. The home warranty program is a nice touch since they know they cut some corners during building and the customer will have some complaints/issues after moving in. Overall the houses are very nice looking. I would recommend that anyone purchasing keep an eye on your home every few days as it is being built. We found numerous incorrect things done in our house along the way that we had paid extra for and had to make them aware of it so that they were corrected before walls had to be ripped out to fix them. It's your house and you know how you want it. Make them aware of issues along the way during the building process and don't let them blow you off. I wish KB homes was more flexible and agreeable to minor design changes.

Great new community for families buying a house for the first time. Great staff to provide assistance with the home buying process.

Home had two issues that should have been identified and addressed during quality checks. Very disappointing. Issues have since been addressed but it took quite some time. Water was not turned back on to dishwasher after installation causing motor damage and changing a lightbulb led to power outage in two rooms, one of which a bathroom and the other a home office. Electrical company used by KB is not reputable, professional or timely.

I think the quality of materials and workmanship could have been better. KB should have given more options for selection and included additional standard options for appliances and fixtures compared to other builders in the area. Also the floor plan could have utilized more space upstairs when compared to the total build up area. Overall satisfied 1st time home buyer. I got the product what I have paid for.

Overall very pleased with our home. There were some small glitches in end but most were resolved to our liking. The main issue I have is the constant surveys and reviews requested by KB, plus the insistence by the staff the receive all 10's for ratings (because they don't get their bonus if not all tens). Well, news for you KB nobody is capable of all 10's all the time. People make mistakes. Plus, nagging by the staff every time we saw them to "please give us 10's on the survey. That was enough to make me want to give 0's. You should want to know what the issues were not the successes. One staff member hinted at giving us extra things on our home so we would give him 10's. If you want a true measure of how you are doing, look at how many referrals from current homeowners to prospective buyers. ... More

The home was beautiful to see on completion. It is the small things that should have been resolved that prevents an excellent experience. Many of the small things weren't big problems, however there are a few things that will need to be addressed and resolved at a planned date.

Very easy and simple purchase a home with KBHOME

im enjoying the new home, hope it will with stand the test of time. during the build i feel like i had to be the one to catch issue that come up along the way. two key points being that an extra window was installed that my wife noticed,and we got that fixed at framing but, the other issue i noticed was after the stucco was done. a second window was 3 feet off 3 feet come on. the super on the job at the time gave me the option to leave it or move it. well we had to move or it would have taking away from the great room. after the window was moved the inside drywall patch came out fine but, the out side stucco patch was horrible didn't match the rest of the house and was bulge out. from what i have heard that this was the second tome that it was redone and it need to be redone again. the third time to over look the patch now on the final walk though and with the sale of my other house going through i feel that i had no choice but except how it looked. i will say that it looked better that the second pass but, the bulge is still there. visit your new build weekly take notes and measurements and come pair them to your lay out. ... I was pleased with the experience.

I have had both the construction manager and sales manager both got promoted. Once the construction manager was promoted the things that were found after two weeks have yet to be resolved. I got the info for the gentleman who was supposed to take over we met I laid out all the concerns. It was a month later I had to email said gentleman because I had no update on my issues and it took him 5 days to respond.

From experience, the quality of some materials for this home are not on the same level as used to build my previous home. For example, the toilet seats are cheap plastic not quality materials, shower door assembly in master bedroom, walls leave scuff marks rather quickly, cracks in shower floor. Entry door from outside was improperly installed. The doors are not solid wood, but hollow pressed wood and not as secure. However, all issues were corrected when reported to KB representative, thus far.

The house is up to our standards. It's perfect for our family. We love it. However, sales person who was "helping" us was deceiving in what she said we would get in incentives. Read the fine print...Don't take any employees word as truth unless it's in writing. Made our first time home buying experience bitter sweet. We went through a lot to get our house, but since we moved in, It has been good. It helped that our lender was outside of KB or we would have not bough our house. Hope others experience is much better than ours was. The house is absolutely great thought!

KB homes have always been a great builder and quality craftsmanship.

So far we have no issues with the our new home the employees from the sale team and contractors were very professional

I got my Dream House with the help of KB homes and I like kb homes everything is good. I recommend KB homes to my sister she got approved and she has new home too.
