GI, Zach and Jason did a great job

Good Builder. But they don't have much design options and we need to go with very limited options.

Mark was great! Answered all questions and organized the entire process. Did not care for KB Home Loan services.

The KB team that helped us get into the home was great. The overall craftsmanship of the home is par. Nothing over the top just basic. The side yards just came with a heap of dirt no concrete no pavers. Just recently I had two issues. The microwave light popped and went out and when I replaced the light it doesn’t turn off and a door handle just fell off only one month in the home. For a new home there shouldn’t be any issues like these. I’m sure they will be taken care of. But the fact that it happened leaves me wondering. I do love the design of the home and the exterior design. Overall 8/10

We're fine with the home, but long story short, we're finding issues with the house after about a month of being here. The sales team and building project manager are responsive, but things would have been better if the builders were not in a rush to finish the home. We've dealt with stuck doors, wet paint, a leaky sink, unsealed garage, a number of other issues that we were told would be fixed after inspection and closing. Some thing have been fixed while others are still outstanding- for example, a faulty oven that apparently, was a company-known issue being experienced by other home buyers. Moving forward, KB probably shouldn't buy wholesale appliances from Whirlpool. It does not seem like a good idea. We may need to call and email them to file for a warranty-replacement... again, after only about a month in living here. Sheri was so helpful and informative during the initial home buying experience when I went under contract. She kept me and my realtor up to date on the build throughout the process. Jim has been so attentive in taking care of structural and operational tasks that needed revision, such as replacing my master bathroom cabinetry, lawn care for the first few weeks after closing, reviewing with me the sprinkler system, etc. Kerlyn was a pleasure to speak to on the phone and he has been effective in setting up work orders to address the issue with the damaged drywall in the laundry room and touching up the paint on my front door. The criticisms I have for the workmanship is that the contractors building the home need a little more attention to detail. I can visually notice several areas inside the house where the base boards are not straight or at 90 degrees relative to the adjoining walls. Also, the windows don't measure the same width when measured at the top compared to the width at the bottom. Lastly, I was told at the initial home orientation that the builder would place an epoxy coating on my garage floor. It looks like what was done was a coating of gray paint and some scattered flakes which tend to, over time, get tracked from the garage and into the house on my shoes. I had a garage flooring professional look at the floor and he quickly assessed that what was done to the garage floor was not an epoxy coating. I bought a ready to move in house. There are many small things needed to be completed before. However, after closing i found it very difficult to get those things done. Such i had to call thousands of times just to get installed sud, and other stuffs like crack, missing paints, AC check for temp differential are still not done. Customer care is another worst part. I called them a month ago which they never did follow up.

Just know what materials are being used in kitchen, cabinets, roofing underlayment. They are builders and may have a great home, or just an average home. It depends on what was picked for the build.

Submitting an offer to this house and sale person's responses were very prompt and smooth. The house is blocking lots of noise from outside. The looks from the outside is very stylish. But there are things I hope I didn't see after moving in are following. #1. Lots of construction leftovers are buried under my lawn. I had to dig out trashes, various sizes of cement blocks, plastic vinyl, etc. I expect more in different sections. #2. There are holes in the garage wall. #3. Nails are visible in the one of bathrooms. #4. Windows sizes are not consistent. Bottoms and top widths are different here and there. #5. I hear quite squeaking noises on the 2nd floor and stairs while walking around. I hear this kind of noise from my mother-in-law's house which is more than 30 years old. ... More

In order to buy a new home we have to plan in advance how you want your new home look like.

Nicole and Angelina helped us get through the buying process. They provided a lot of information, resources, and followed up consistently to make sure we got all the things we were asking for

Fit and finish is NEVER perfect, and I understand that, However follow up and follow through. Too many emails never responded to and once we do get someone to respond, very defensive in nature. Not asking for perfection, just understanding. Simplest step KB could do is to simple say, "I hear your concern and here are the options . . ." In stead of, "well that is the subcontractor, or that is construction, or that is sales . . . " Overall I am satisfied with the house, however not the follow through.

I did not have any real issues with this builder. I love my floor plan. The house was built in a timely manner considering the issued with backordered and delayed materials. I was told when the process started that is was highly possible the the home would not be completed on schedule and it was not however it was completed and I have moved in. The construction manager was very helpful and responsive and I appreciated that.

Great experience for first-time homebuyers. They walk you through the steps and make sure you know what is going on every step of the way. Unfortunately, they cut corners on the finishing touches and left a few things below standard.

The process during the home build was good, but once I closed there were plenty of exceptions that needed to be completed. Wished the home was more “move in ready” than what I walked into.

Overall good experience with KB homes.

This has been a rollercoaster ride! I think what I will take from this whole experience is COMMUNICATE! & Make sure your sales rep is around after you sign the papers/contract because he disappeared like David Copperfield-

Overall good. Especially since we got in early and got a good price.

The sales office was great. My rep kept me apprised of status, progress and timeline. I felt like the KBHS team could have done a better job 'coaching' on the phase of the loan progress. Multiple times, months would go by without notice and then there was an immediate required action item that was crucial to he loan process, which created a lot of unnecessary stress. I also had to specifically call out issues and updates that were required to be made in my closing summary statements multiple times. Had I not put the effort to perform details reviews of my closing summary, I'm certain they would not have been caught which would have resulted in me paying excess fees; again unnecessary stress for something that should have been a seamless and generally exciting/enjoyable process. ... Materials are not of good quality, for example, the cabinet we have many broken

We had a good home buying experience all the way from the sales agent, financing team, and build team.

Overall I am happy with my new home. However, the process took much longer than I had anticipated. This was probably due to a shortage of workers and difficulty obtaining materials. The 30 day warranty check did not happen. I am anticipating the 60 day check. There are just a few items that need to be fixed in my home.

Mark was very responsive with all questions and concerns we had, same with Kacey. Issues with house falling behind original schedule continued throughout the build that was very frustrating especially when balancing rate locks, apartment leases, and movers

Ingrid and Vanessa were great, Also the design studio was a great experience, Everyone came through just great when we were scrambling at the last moment to complete the signing

I had a wonderful experience with KB sale staff and loan processing. I just wished KB has better workmanship and materials. However, KB representative is willing to work out the issues and make sure it would be taken care of. Overall, I am happy with my new home. There are many more years to come. So I will have to wait and see.
