As owners we have had to deal with numerous issues, from paint , drywall, cabinetry, hardware, and electrical. It has taken a lot longer than we think it should have to resolve these issues. We're also lucky that we have somebody in the house to be there for all of these various appointments that have had to be made to take care of these issues. If not, either my wife or I would have missed quite a bit of work to be at the house.

My First Time Home Buyer experience was destroyed by the builder’s team. They didn't do what they promised throughout the process. They didn't respond to in a timely fashion to repair workmanship errors.

Construction Superintendent was on top of all my issues especially meeting deadlines And timelines. Issues being resolved as needed. No major complaints.

They listened to our wants and needs, kept me informed of the progress of the home weekly.

Positive home buying experience but once you move in it’s a different story

Right from the sales experience (Larry) to design studio (Rudy) to construction (Brent), financing and closing (Chad and his team), the entire process was made very smooth. Like any major project there may have been a few back and forth, but I had an amazing experience with KB team in my community (Retreat at Stonebriar, Frisco, TX). Thanks KB for building us a beautiful home.

Short build time 4 months from foundation to completion.

During the building process, everyone was communicating and making things happen to get us into our home. There were few bumps, but nothing major. 2 months after we moved in communication went down the drain and my “POC” stopped replying to my messages for issues that were going on with my irrigation system. Then we get a package from KB about our warranty, and guess what, our irrigation system’s warranty expired over a month ago, which we didn’t know until after the fact. That’s when everything made sense as to why my KB rep stopped replying to my messages concerning the issue. Now I have to go find someone to fix my irrigation system. Take away from this, make sure they turn on the sprinkler system during your inspection so you can see that they work before you close on the house. ... More

The buying experience was really good. However, we did not receive a 10 day follow up. We actually had to call and ask for it. We also have not received a 30 day follow up. Both of which were promised to us.

Great team with great communication!! Highly recommended!!!

We were kept up to date on progress

I'm so frustrated with overall build quality issues and non responsiveness to the reported issues for warranty. Never going to buy a KB Home again.

Everyone was polite and very helpful

Expected better response to issues in regards to the home when we received keys. But once you get your keys to your home it’s up to the home buyer to constantly be on it, or your issues will be forgotten.

Overall a good experience.

Pretty much everything went as planned.

Was easy to understand, and steps of our purchase was smooth even during a lockdown.

I would recommend KB Homes to anyone my experience has been an awesome one. I hope they don't ever change their ways!
