Save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere. Workmanship is poor and sloppy. Never knew we would have so many issues with our brand new home. The community is great which is the only redeeming quality. It’s just unfortunate the home quality does not reflect the price you pay.

KBHOME THE WORST BUILDER IN FLORIDA

At the pooring of the cement I realized they were building the wrong house. When I told the sales person. He took me to the Model the Kingsley to show me it was the right model only FLIPPED!!! WHAT PART OF I WANT MY HOUSE TO LOOK JUST LIKE THIS!!! His reply was "No two houses look the same and does it really Matter? YES IT DOES. 2) The kitchen was smaller. I asked for the gourment Kitchen the sales person didn't know KBHome offered it. If he had he should of told me the kitchen would be smoller. Then he asked me if I wanted a 10 or 12 foot ceiling I said 10 thniking the celing was going to ...

My previous review detailing my displeasure with our home was rejected for “legally sensitive content,” without specifying what (if any) it applies to, so unfortunately maybe this is generic enough: KB Homes representatives often paid little attention to detail, communicated poorly, did subpar work, and doesn’t ensure that alcohol isn’t present at construction sites.

Go elsewhere for a new home

I can't say kb in general, but definitely the people running the show in the neighborhood where my home was built . The worst workmanship I have ever seen..... Like there are so many problems with this home I wish I could give it back. The people they contract with are not professional in anyway. So many corners cut, my slab was jack hammered open 3 times because they did the plumbing wrong ... I could go on and on . Stay away from KB homes.

The lack of communication and honesty on the entire process. Not a good experience, lots of minor issues with home that the builder refused to fix.

Stay away! No follow thru, TERRIBLE quality control

We closed 2 months ago. Much of our original punch list is still not repaired. The ceilings in 2 rooms began to sag. They've come in twice, ripped ceilings down leaving us without access to the master bedroom and living room/ kitchen. Ceiling is still not right, lights are removed, crown molding removed and damaged. And they have not shown up the last 2 days when they were scheduled, so I'm left without full access to my master bedroom. My main issue was when things went wrong, on more than one occasion, KB failed to escalate and get resolution. Would not recommend.

This is the worst builder I have encountered, sales team were fond of canceling transanctions and no considerations at all and end up putting more downpayment just to save the deal and resolved the issue. They will not work for you to make it happen you have to work on them with their expectations.

Please don’t trust them They do not have integrity They say you can get another lender but if you do they will threaten you that you will not close on time to force your hand to come back to them. Very stressful closing process

Would Not Use KB Again

Unfortunately, this house is just not what we expected. To name a few problems, there are cracks, leaks, patches of different colored paint, missing grout between floorboards and tiles and wonky tiles throughout the house. It is just over all poor quality. We asked for these things to be fixed before moving in, but they weren't. After many arguments and debates with multiple people, we eventually just had to move in without fixes.

Not what we were promised.

Our house seemed rushed and not complete. We paid lots for an incomplete house. Cole was helping us get everything taken care of, then they let him go leaving us with people that did not take customer service as seriously as he did. Now that Cole is back, which we are sooooo relieved by, hopefully things will get corrected for us. Our original salesman Scott has been awesome as well. Cole and Scott were the only ones that cared about us.

Quality control was non-existent. Very frustrating when promises are made to fix issues and appointments are repeatedly blown off and go unresolved. KB has no regard for integrity or quality. Refuse to display my name to avoid repercussions. Try any other builder
