I am not satisfied with the quality of workmanship. Things keep falling out of place.

The hoa is a mess. The fee mentioned when buying the house is completely different from the hoa fee that needs to be paid now. It has been processed for two weeks, and there is still no result. Some workers such as the hoa property manager are playing football to shirk responsibility! If you buy a house again, you probably won’t choose KB！

HOME BUYING IS STRESSFUL. TAKE YOUR TIME.

Pressed board kitchen cabinets and vanities, not even wood. Front door fell off one of the kitchen drawers after only 6 wks in the house. No drawers in either vanity cabinets. Refrig door handle falling off. Cheap bathroom fixtures. Kitchen cabinets too far up from the counter top. Can only reach first 2 shelves, others are useless. Just a lot of short cuts.

Process is slow on loan approval due to poor communication between builder , loan coordinator and appraiser. Appraiser was not communicating well

Nice experience but difficult to get help with warranties

Very easy process from start to finish.

Service after the sale has been disappointing at best!

KB homes is a great place to buy your dream house. I really love my new house. Just wish I had prior experience buying a house so I could get certain things inplace on the house before I moved it.

House is nice and energy efficient, but material used is below par. All interior doors needs re-adjustment. Overall, newer house is not built like how they used to.

We wish we could give 5 stars across the board, but in good conscience, we can not. So many minor flaws because the build process was rushed to meet a deadline. We sure reported at 10 and 30 days still aren’t resolved. Sloppy craftsmanship on concrete work, with un-smooth areas, chunks missing, materials sticking up and out of concrete. Walls have so many areas paint is missing, scrapes from tools to apply texture, Covid moneyed areas larger than 10” missed. Grout slipped all over floorboards in every single room. Caulking forgotten on bathroom mirrors. Most doors would not latch shut. Sloppy stucco work on the front of the house. Chipped tiles. Cracked grout. Sloppy grout work at particularly at corners and edges where tiles weren’t cut correctly and excess grout was put in to hide money stakes; leaving thicker grout lines next to neighboring lines. We love our home and the design options we chose, but wish someone would have explained consequences of not choosing certain things, and that didn’t happen. We just wish the follow through with minor problems would’ve been taken care of, instead we are feeling ignored because everyone is busy at the new development areas. I understand COVID delayed building materials etc. I was good with waiting 9 months. Then every month past the 9 was excuses as to why my home wasn’t finished. I told them I was pulling out of the contract because the new home building excitement was gone. I’ve been in my home now 2 months and there is still stuff we are waiting on and things they didn’t complete before moving in (minor to them major to us) Love the home but just not a good experience

Sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable about the process and keeping homeowner up to date. Construction manager did a good job in returning phone call and update next steps in construction process. Overall skill levels of builders are questionable, it seems like construction workers do care about the quality of their work. Must jobs where never completed to the satisfaction of completion.

It looks like they rushed, when building (Trades). Overall nice home location. Great staff. From sales to on site workers.

The house is good except few finishing touches. Such as no weed barrier under the mulch in the front yard. I suggest future home buyers should do a good walk through,

It’s too early to rate this home on some of the questions (thus 3 stars). The buying process was pretty smooth and the people who helped us, like Sherry, were awesome!!!

Salesman was awesome, he sent us weekly updates, even through shortages of supplies and labor. Time at the design of 2 hours too short, another hour would’ve been satisfactory. Loan process with KB loans was stressful. Final walk through was good, but a few issues that were addressed is still in the works. All in all, everyone was professional.

I have a leak in my water heater more than a month and I receive my house without 2 cabinets doors that was supposed to be delivered in February 24th, but until now nothing. They return quickly my questions but I don’t have the real solution for my problems.

Overall a great experience and the most bang for the buck.

Too many unnecessary delays that prolonged the building process.

If you want updated appliances other than standard black and white cabinets, carpet, tile, flooring, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, doors, internet connection housing, etc. You will have to pay out of pocket. All of the items that come with the build are the same style items used in the selections from 20 or more years ago. It hasn't been changed and it is poor quality, so you will considerably find yourself increasing the price of your home due to selects but not the value of your home. Prepare a budget if you know that you don't want the basics for your home selects. If you are okay with upgrading your selects after your home buying process, then happy home buying and enjoy. Also, the new kb homes come with pest control unit built in the home which is awesome compared to older KB homes in the late 90s. Make sure the carpenter caulk properly and you schedule for pest control sooner than later because the buggs, ants, spiders and all small criters are coming into your home through the crevices of the bricks, stucco, and the fiber cement. It isn't pleasant having to deal with it in your brand new home. It become very stressful to deal with. Also, Cosmetic stressors....be prepared if your doorknobs start falling off one by one, I haven't figured out why they become loose and will not stay tightened. But waiting for someone to come and fix them. Also, ask to make sure that all weeds arekilled and gone before sod is laid otherwise your sod will be taken over by weeds and lsndscape will take some extra tlc to groom it back to a beautiful lawn. Make sure you get gutters and all of your plates as I am missing one. If you are choosing a stucco home and a light color, please know that it will not appear as that color on stucco and KB will not add any additional coats to get it close to the visual view of the color unless you pay out of pocket. My advice is to choose a darker color. Some homes in the neighborhood seem to not turn out that way with a light color but my home did. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Enjoy your KB home! ... More

Deb in sales was great!

Overall the process was a good experience but the communication from our superintendent was not very good. Felt like we were in the dark most of the time. We had to ask questions and initiate all communication.

Overall everything is ok, but my main concern is the backyard right side of wall it’s too low compared to all other walls on my neighbors.

The customer service isn't that great.
