Outstanding customer service. Excellent service, we need something and they show up at the time they promise.

My wife and I found Aurora Heights about ten months ago as a developing community. The first impressions were very grand. The salesmen seemed nice and personable and we really liked the floorplans available. We put our deposit down fairly quickly and took a dive commited to buying our first home. We were assured that the home would be ready long before our lease ran out and that we would have no issued getting into our home. The first issue arose with the design studio. We were given a choice between two days. The salesman had them on speaker phone as we chose the day and he wrote it down at the same time that my wife wrote it in her own notes. I burned a day of leave and so did my wife so we could make the appointment. When we showed up we were turned away because the secretary that booked us apparently scheduled us for the wrong day. I wanted to walk away then but my wife talked me off the ledge. The second issues came up right at the beginning of the COVID shut down, only I wasn't aware quite yet. The salesman called me to inform me that the homes weren't going to be worked on for an unforseen duration. My wife and decided that this was the point where we should walk away. I called the salesman to tell him the news and he talked me off the ledge yet again, assuring me that he had just found out the homes were back to being worked on in full force. "Business as usual" was the term he used. My wife and I spend the next few weeks in apprehension as we visited the home each Sunday, noting no major progress being done after a certain point. Then about three weeks out from the scheduled walk, which had already been pushed back once, the salesman calls me to tell me the cabinet company was reopening finally. I was never informed that the suppliers were down. I was straight up lied to so that I would not walk away. We barely made it out of our apartment before the lease was up and had we not made it out, they would have raised our rent by 800 dollars a month as a sales tactic meant to force us into a new lease. The cabinets finally went in and we walked the house. The workmanship is subpar all around but I have conceded to the fact that it is due to me having rushed the project. There are in even lines and over spray from rushed paint jobs. Molding with inadequate caulking, parts of the molding in the bathroom was never even installed, a few of the cabinet doors didn't even match and the list goes on. All this explains why the builder was so addement that I don't bring an inspector with me for our final walk. I know multiple people searching for new builds, but I would never refer some one to use KB home. I know it's probably all mostly due to COVID19 but I am still a little salty. 2020 is a year where customer service in nearly every large company decided to take a nose dive and KB home was no exception to that theory. The home is overall nice, but I believe you could get a home just a nice with some one like DR Horton or Beezer and also have adequate treatment from the employees setting things up for you. ... I love my home. The location was the reason I purchased the home. I have been disappointed with repairs. Most are minor fixes yet are still not completed and I have been in my home for over 60 days. I am not pleased with the quality of my air conditioning in my home. It is suppose to energy friendly and well insulated. Which it is but at a cost of 2 bedrooms being hotter then the rest of the house. The air conditioning company telling me this is normal? They need to work on the function of the home. It looks pretty but it also needs to function. You need to put the toilet paper holder in spot you can reach. The gas line is at my bedroom window, who is going to grill in front of their bedroom window? No place for trash cans? You have to drag through a ton of stones and it is hard on feet/back. Paint indoors is flat, anything touches it and it leaves a mark. They offer a free touch-up but the guy never calls you back, so I gave up and did it myself. I am not that happy. ... More

There are many moving pieces in buying a new home to be built. KB helps provide the road map to get you from beginning to end and make the entire process as simple as possible. The wide range of homes to choose from as well as the ability to make interior selections made their homes a great fit for my family. Transitioning to being a new homeowner can be overwhelming, but the service teams continue to check in after you move in and are attentive toward issues that come up as well.

KB Homes is solid on quality, design and build options. The issue they fall down on is the lack of follow through on promises made during construction. Big on promises, small on delivery. Constant squeaky wheel to get things done and completed; no modifications can be made - period. Constantly ask to fill out a 5 star review. You earn what you get, not what you want

I have a number of things that are wrong with the house and KBHome has yet to schedule anyone to fix items even though they have come by my house several times.

There is a reason KB home is rated so highly. Any new build is going to have some issues to overcome, but KB always communicated well and kept us informed every step of the way. Our home is very quiet and I love the finished we were able to pick out at the studio.

My wife and I are first time homebuyers and we visited communities with almost every single builder in our area when we were home shopping and we strongly believe we got the best possible home that was available in our price range. The whole experience was very professional, from the initial sales team to the lender to the customer care team who helped resolve all of our minor issues after moving in. Would definitely recommend KB Homes to friends and family.

Ask questions as KB Home staff was always there to answer the questions I had. For a new buyer, ask staff or constriction manager, what other/prior buyers wish they had added: 9' ceiling, a light over the cink, an addition plug in the garage, larger patio etc...

KB built us an amazing home with an amazing competitive price. With everything going on right now, they pushed through and helped us out with creating our forever home.

The sales office is very helpful, Debbie sent e-mails to me regularly to update the building process. she replied all my questions very fast.

We got very lucky this home was available when we went to look. We love it here and Jeff is amazing

We couldn't be happier! Especially having a new home built to our budget. Most of the homes in our budget needed several thousands of dollars in improvement to get to what we were able to do with a new build with KB Homes. We loved working with Edgar. He made sure our needs were met and kept us up-to-date even with things that didn't go our way. We appreciate his honesty and being up front with us on changes and expectations during COVID-19.

Excellent quality materials and build. Good options for finishes. Exceptional staff and customer service!

I have been in my house since June and I am still waiting for issues to be fixed. KB is quick to get the closing done but not so quick on getting items identified on the punch out list fixed.

Great builder! I'd recommend for anyone!
