Customer service was nice and friendly. We weren’t given the options to upgrade anything. We were given a 30 minute notice to close on the house. There are things that are still broken that were brought up in the walk through. Trimming on the house is peeling off the walls. The back and front yards are nice and big.

Everything seems to be an upgrade. The model homes are somewhat misleading but the prices of the upgrades are not bad. Overall pricing is alright but the timeline and follow up is not always the best. I have been living in our home for 3 months so far so good just some minor things need to followed up by w/ warranty.

Great value for a start home under current market. Need more consideration for normal design to fit for smaller house these days such as avoid door overlap when both open, two big oak trees in a very small from lawn that too close to drive way...

Some of the materials that they used are too cheap.

And now today only two people came. We still have a small hole in our calk above the shower. This is unacceptable and they need to fix it ASAP. Unfortunately that does t seem to be a priority and no one has come to fix that. We already used the shower so we are afraid if there is further damage. Get on the ball and fix this ASAP. Touch ups still have not been done as well :(

Be sure your home is ready to your satisfaction before you close on the sale !

Just glad to be done with it. Hopefully my home doesn't fall apart and I can improve it from the initial build.

SALE AGENT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGER GAVE AN EXCELLENT SERVICE JUST THE CONCRETE CONTRACTOR DID A TERRIBLE JOB. TWO ISSUES: GARAGE FLOOR WITH HOLDS AND STEPS STOOP IN THE BACKYARD

Any follow up work that has been needed has yet to be followed up on and I’m well past my 30 days.

Couldve done better in building most especially being a big company.

At first any issues were fixed quickly but now it’s taking a long time to get things fixed. Our back patio cracked after living here about 1-2 weeks and no one has come out to fix that yet, as well as our front walkway crumbling at the corners. Then we discovered a leak in our kitchen window about 3 weeks ago and still waiting on someone to fix. About a week after closing we submitted a request due to the kitchen cabinets having numerous scratches, dents, and black markings on them. I did pay for the most expensive cabinet upgrade and am very disappointed with the quality of them. We also upgraded to vinyl plank flooring which was supposed to be durable, but we have already made multiple deep scratches from minimal use and no kids or pets. Price was very expensive and the quality isn’t there. Our bathtubs have red markings on them that I can not seem to remove no matter what I try, backsplash is cut uneven in some places and grout is sloppy. Caulking was done but sloppy. Trim work is pretty bad, almost every corner is cut wrong, and there are some areas with deep scratches on it that we’re never fixed. Also upon moving in they got hundreds (not even exaggerating) paint drips all over my floors that we had to crawl around and try to scrape up, and even 2 months later we still have paint drips on the floor. I bought an inventory house so many things I can not say anything even very weird design and people sale people just answer me 《 someone ordered this house that way 》 but very weird issue for example Outlet power did not work any button on the walls when I installed fans I can use only remote control but they told me someone ordered to build this way so why we stupid to pay and build all button off and on the lights and fans on the walls?? Why? Or another sample outside under the roof we got 3 corners got outlet power for camera system and they missed one corner front right side I showed them and asked for help they also defensed people designed this way so we can not do the 4th one for you Cable outlet for TV only master room and living room got outlet. 3 others room did not have outlet! 3 others builders around showed me it was standardized nowadays Well I paid 20 000 usd to get kb house more than other 3 builders around same zone same square feet 1700 but quality was worse and old design more than them if I paid 233000 to buy a house at Ryan builder I got full upgraded back Patio tiles sinks fans wsher dryer all set Well I learned a big lesson to buy first house then Too late to say anywords ... We love our new home. however there's been some issues and trying to get the builder to take care of it in a timely manner is proving to be difficult.

I am happy with my purchase for the location I bought my home in. Only complain is about the finishing of my home. For the price I paid, I expected better value in things like thermostats, a very cheap COR thermostat is offered, and that cannot be changed if you don't want to void the warranty. Another thing I didn't like about KB is that, lack of hook ups for ceiling fans and in built speaker wiring system. This doesn't cost a lot, but we were not given any choice to upgrade too, as we bought the home little late in the process. Poor paint job!

I’m if you waiting to come and fix behind the old oven since the day I moved. They told me that they will take care of the issue ASAP. I’m still waiting.

There are indeed problems with the quality of the house. Many areas need to be repaired. The lock on the door has fallen off many times and the door is damaged. The main problem is that the house will tremble whenever a large car passes by!

The loan processor and agent Corey were helpful and responded to all my questions timely. The sales agent Susan was great as well. The issue is dealing with warranty. I have paint that is cracked, baseboards that are damaged, missing caps on the rain caps on the roof, scratched sink…the list goes on. I submitted these concerns in October and none have been resolved. I was given an in person appointment October 11th so I guess we’ll see how that works out.

Quality Check is not done properly. Many things have issues.

Home is beautiful, however, there were a lot of little details that did not meet my expectations for the price paid. Cabinets had issues, crown molding had issues, flooring seems uneven in some areas.

Sales staff are the best, but unfortunately the attention for other people with issues and concerns have to be better.

House still incomplete. Missing shower and cabniet trim. Never given updates, I have to call in and ask what's going on and no one ever seems to know.

Overall, the experience was subpar. Everything was going great in the process up until the point we signed our purchase agreement. After that, we went to studio and picked out all of our upgrades. Options were mispoken for, for ex: sprinkler system/gutters not included and were told they were. We upgraded to all gas appliances and upgraded appliance options and somehow they mistakenly did not include gas drop ins for our most important appliances such as the dryer and double connvection oven. We paid an additional $6700 for upgraded vinyl flooring that was terribly placed in some sections(you can feel the vinyl move.) we paid an additional $3400 for our countertops and they were misplaced and uneven with completely obvious and terrible placement seams. Our kitchen cabinetry was not flush with the wall and our cabinet sticks out from the too of the cabinet and retreats into the wall about half ways in. We have cracks in evidently every room downstairs as well as some upstairs cracks as well. Our upstairs tub was likely not plum becsuse it drains extremely slower than all of our other tubs. Our sod/plants were dead upon recieving our home and were told they'd be replaced as soon as we moved in, but a month later we were still waiting for them to get estimates to replace it and not guarenteed that they'd fix it after they told us they would. We ultimately decided to come out of pocket to replace the dead sod and install a sprinkler system. We've been told straight up that the new drywall contractors will not come fix the last drywall contractors mistakes and that they're too busy to fix our issues. We were told all settlement cracks however the size are always addressed at the 10 month mark and not immediately. The date we tried to move in we noticed our furnace was not turning on and had to wait FOUR days for the "emergency line" to dispatch out an HVAC company to repair the furnace. The issue was diagnosed as a miswired unit, so it was impossible for KB Home to ever inspect and evaluate if the unit was even working before we were given the home. The walk through was fairly rushed so we could close on the property and to be frank the walk through was more just a highlight of the basic features of the home. We got bounced back from person to person and superintendent to superintendent until someone finally took the phase and finished it. Even so, we had an 18 month build. We purchased at the end of April 2022 and Closed Mid- October 2022. We didnt recieve the guarenteed closing date until two weeks prior. Getting them to schedule people accordingly to come make repairs has been a struggle because they never show on dates we are told. There is an underwhelming determination to help us fix the issues and it's almost like we are bothering them to fix issues that should have never existed and then persisted. It has been extremely frustrating to be told there is no time to help us with all these issues because they are too busy with other jobs. Its been over a month and many issues are still unresolved. We like our house, but we are just extrememly dissatisfied and disappointed in the worksmanship. Everywhere we look, there is something wrong. I dont think any new home owner would appreciate that. KB Finance was okay. They were attentive and tried to help to the best of their abilities. ... More
