How unready this house was to move in to. They are still coming out to fix stuff. Some of the people coming have even said this should have been done before I moved in. On a good note KB has done an excellent job of repairing or changing things.

I have some many issues with this house that have not been taken care of yet. I have asked many times to get these issues addressed and some easy ones were taken care of, however, the dangerous one were not taken care of as of today. We just want to be safe and not be a burden. We feel that our concerns don’t matter. In the future, I don’t believe I will recommend KB to my friends.

Everyone gets excited to close, but make certain everything is resolved before closing. The staff have been wonderful trying to resolve all of the items that still require paint, or towel racks/tissue paper holders falling off the wall, backyard not cleaned up or fine graded so we can get our landscaper in, and then to add to all of that, the corona virus. We absolutely love the house, just frustrated at how things are being resolved since closing.

Your customer service representatives is not very active on following up on the issue on the house discrepancy safety discrepancy !!example thermostat programming (?i have to learned it on my own!! Same issue on the outside light programming!! He is not very responsive !!

I received my house on September 27, 2024 and to date they have not fixed all the defects that my house has. The last repair date is for next November 20, 2024, I hope they finally finish with all the details they left in my house

KB is great, but unfortunately not so great at correcting deficiencies. I have been waiting for several issues (i.e. siding, tile, plumbing, fence, gate, garage floor detailing, drainage) to get corrected. Some issues were (partially) corrected while others have been completely ignored. There is a need for better quality workmanship. Terrible work on the backyard fence and gate. Drainage is not a thing to KB. If you buy from KB I strongly recommend you get all issues resolved before you move in. Otherwise, issues may not get resolved. Do not fill out any surveys until at least 30 days after closing. I emphasize do not fill out that survey at closing. Project managers need accommodate buyers working schedules and meet after 5pm and possibly weekends just like sales. Buyers shouldn't need to loose pay to schedule fixes to poor workmanship and sub standard materials

We love our home in Gold Canyon, AZ. Structurally the house is sound but the trade work inside is not up to par for what you spend on these homes. Make sure you get an independent inspector to inspect the work along the way and it would be valuable to have a realtor to advocate for you! It’s a must if you want to stay on top of the whole process. The Forman and salesman were nice but communication was severely lacking. KB Homes can do better to make sure the homes they build are top of the line for the cost.

KB was real quick to try to get the homes done that they hired the fastest yet obviously cheapest contractors and tried to get it done in sloppy record speed.. Overall, it's liveable and I AM ultimately happy with my home although it's been nearly two months since closing and still waiting on all (somewhat minor) repairs to be fixed. I'm having to take off half a days work (which will likely turn into two half days if I suspect we're working with the same contractors) to deal with what should have been addressed with the contractors themselves prior to move in, but I digress.. So many things wrong with the house. Sloppy workmanship on cabinets, baseboard, patio door and carpet. Getting so many appointments scheduled to fix things that should have been done right the first time is cutting into my work schedule and making it hard to get to doctors appointments. So I’m just done. I’m so tired of trying to schedule and reschedule these appointments and have people interfere with my workday that I will likely just leave many items as they are instead of having them fixed.

1. Well over-priced. KBhome took advantage of hot real-estate market. Unreasonable lot premium. 2. Well over-priced optional items such as flooring. Not much choices such as window treatment or ceiling fans. 2. I still have 3 small issues and 1 major issue (replacing the scratched kitchen cabinet door). Customer Service associate is not responding to my text, emails, and phone calls for the simple status update. No communication what so ever after an initial text communication. It has been 2 months.

The whole process was stressful due to the fact that my wife and I had a loan officer who didn’t tell us a thing, he basically did everything on his own without confirming anything with us. Then when we switched to Daliah as our loan officer everything turned around she informed us of everything there is to know. As far as the build of our home there’s issues that should have been caught during the building process. Such as electric sockets not working, cracks between tile, issues with that irrigation system. So I moved in I December and during that time until now 2 pipes outside have broken. Also it jacked up my hard to which I’m still waiting to get fixed. The AC is a massive issue at first it was set up incorrectly once that was fixed now it makes a super loud sound. The AC people say there I nothing wrong but the sound is differently than when I first got it and even worst I have to turn off the unit at night so I can sleep

after 2 months moving in still dealing with issues I reporting before closing and the date I did final walk. they had me sign and close with the promise of attending the issues, but still dealing with it on top of being disrespected in my own house by Filiberto and he keeps recommending people to do cement so he can get money and quality of work horrible! As a first time homebuyer I thought buying new would keep me from having to fix things. That has not been the case. I have a garage that gets wet when it rains, dinged and scratched “upgraded cabinets” that were “fixed” instead of being replaced, the siding in my entryway looks horrible, a chunk of concrete missing from entry way, scratches on most doors throughout the house, hollow sections of the flooring, nicked bathtub, missed grout spots on bathrooms, nails sticking out the trim, paint on door hinges throughout the house, scratches on sliding door, the garage floor is cracking, etc. So ...
