Closing date was changed several times. No exact dates. After the closing construction crew didn’t do what they had promised to. Hard to get in touch with them. No incentives or anything. No proper house gift from sales rep compared to other builders.

Had I known that KB Homes does not stand by the products in their homes I would never have bought a home. I will never give a positive referral to friends and relatives, as a matter of fact I have told everyone that they should never buy a KB home. I will be going online and making a scathing post about how horrid this company is.

Very bad quality of finish and materials

We have been here 6 weeks and still the house is not complete. Poorest workmanship I have ever seen. Have been promised numerous times for the completion but, to no avail. Front door was to be painted completely blue which was what we had picked out in the design studio. The door is only painted blue on the outside. Paint droppings on all floors. Several closet frames are 1/2 inch different from side to side. Transition molding in kitchen is not secure. Seal on one window is coming off. Sorry we bought into this house. Walk out the back door and you roll down the hill. Not level at all.

Now that we have been here a few months, we are noticing an alarming number of issues. Windows are leaking when it rains, drywall inside is wet, soft and peeling from rain outside (i can literally put my finger through it), windows that wont lock, grout completely cracked open on the kitchen counter which is now allowing water from the leaking window into the cabinets which will ruin them and cause mold, kitchen cabinets not properly installed at the floor, broken patio light, AC did not pass some type of inspection, door handles through out the house all coming loose, water coming in from the bottom of the sliding glass door, not to mention all the cosmetic issues of paint and caulk all over the floors and light switches that we have had to scrape off (and still are), paint stains on the carpets, nails sticking out of cabinets, uneven paint on the walls….the list goes on. Not what you would expect from brand new construction. It is apparent that many corners were cut while building this house. We gave a long list of issues several weeks ago and have yet to be contacted to have them fixed. We are very dissatisfied with the quality if this house and are finding more issues every day. ... Dahlia and Joey were great to work with. However, the underwriter(s) were terrible to work with. They made me feel I had to prove I was giving honest answers to anything and everything. Took them so long to do things that I needed to pay extra to get more time to close

This could've just been the whole housing market in 2021. Four months after signing, our home was still a dirt pile. But weeks later, foundation was poured, the structure went up fast & filled in soon after. The default paint may scrape off easily in places, but everything else has held up well. Maintenance staff has been helpful around the house too.

Overall experience was good. The construction team is excellent and responsive

Communication with sales rep was difficult. Due to shortage and winter storm pushed back move in dates. Great Experience with everyone else, on the KB team. We love our home

the building team was and is amazing. they are the reason I recommended kb homes in the state of florida.

My experience with the builder and Sarah was awesome. They answered every question I had and was able to assist me when needed. My 3 star rating is due to the loan officer, Sylma. As a loan officer she was not knowledgeable and very incompetent. She would give closure dates and not make her deadlines. Instead of her being honest with the changes in the closure dates she would put blame on others. I was told my closure date was changed due to waiting on meters to be installed. Once the meters were installed my closure date was changed again because she was waiting on GSFA to approve me. When I contact GSFA I was told my application was not received. Immediately after I contacted Sylma and told her what was said and who my point of contact was and only at this time she admitted to me she was not familiar with the program and had to get educated on it. Her apologies were not accepted because I had asked her before I went with KB Loan if she was knowledgeable to the program and was told yes. I forgot to mention I had given my landlord my notice to move, so I was displaced for three weeks and had stressed this to Sylma and her supervisor Steve. Both of them promised to get the paperwork done ASAP, but that didn’t happen. It took GSFA a few hours to approve my application, but it took them over three weeks to process and submit a few pages. Marcell, our salesman was nice in person but at times not very responsive and seemed to lack knowledge of products and building procedures. He was also rude to our agent a couple times. Once we finished that part of the process working with Joey was a far better experience. He was super responsive and went put of his way to help us and explain anything that needed to be explained. He was flexible with scheduling and didn't mknd going the extra mile.

All has been pleasant till now’

KB Lending is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a bank. Questions were asked of me that were truly degrading, and Tracy Bisig, the SR Processor, was the most unprofessional person I have worked with in my life. She NEVER called me throughout the process to introduce herself, and I kept sending the same information because she was not organized. I was never told I could purchase this property from a different lender because I did not meet KD Lending's requirements. I was forced to use my life savings to buy this property because I had no time to seek outside funding. I have been in staffing for over 35 years and have never dealt with an uncaring, rude, lazy, and flat-out disrespectful human as Tracy Bisiq. I pray that you speak with this woman regarding how she treats future home buyers and not string them along only to crush their dreams. I would not refer KB Home Lending to Horse Crapping Contest. The realtor, Jeff, was excellent, and building the team was just as great. Future KB HOMEOWNERS, you don't have to use KB HOME LENDING when buying a KB HOME and research your leading offers. ... My experience was great until it came down to closing. The title person handling my home was a pain. She wouldn't get on the portal that my lender had setup for all paperwork to go to one place. She was uncooperative on that part. Certain things that could have and should have been paid at closing they wanted paid up front. Anything that KB Homes tell you as far what they provide. Be sure to get it in writing

I was so excited to be a new homeowner at Valencia Fivepoints. My realtor Rolanda did an amazing job helping us find our new home. She went above and beyond to make sure our deal got closed. I just wish some to the KB representatives made us feel the same way as Rolanda did. She made us feel like we belong in this community and our goal of being a homeowner was valued. Rolanda is definitely a gem for KB Home.

Jeff, Daniel , Paula and Belinda turned a frustrating buy into a very good buy due to there professionalism and caring attitude towardsour needs. They completely saved the day when they took over our loan. I"ve never had anything but good things to say about these four individuals.

Loan process was extremely repetitive, asking for the same documents submitted by more than 10 times. Even though everything was uploaded in KB portal, most individuals didn’t bother to look and asked for my personal/Bank/W2/Loan documents via email. KB portal seemed to have no purpose, even though we were made to believe to upload all our documents in. Design studio was great and so was Steve who worked with us after our home was done.

Overall good experience. I love my home.

We went into contract February 2022 with a promise of a completed home in May or June. It took until the end of September until our home was delivered and only after us calling and going to the managerial staff. We still have repair issues that are unresolved. Also KB puts such a low fence in the backyard that you can see into your neighbors windows. We are disappointed that a privacy fence was not part of our package. This is a $800,000 plus home that should have included that out of respect for the homeowners privacy. We love the house but are very disappointed. I knew purchasing a new home will come with a few bumps and bruises and roadblocks, but all in all, it was good. A few minor things that needed to be worked on but Kasey has been on it to make sure it has or will be repaired.

Build times are longer these days. So plan on at least 9-10 months. The construction was done well and to our specifications.
