im enjoying the new home, hope it will with stand the test of time. during the build i feel like i had to be the one to catch issue that come up along the way. two key points being that an extra window was installed that my wife noticed,and we got that fixed at framing but, the other issue i noticed was after the stucco was done. a second window was 3 feet off 3 feet come on. the super on the job at the time gave me the option to leave it or move it. well we had to move or it would have taking away from the great room. after the window was moved the inside drywall patch came out fine but, the out side stucco patch was horrible didn't match the rest of the house and was bulge out. from what i have heard that this was the second tome that it was redone and it need to be redone again. the third time to over look the patch now on the final walk though and with the sale of my other house going through i feel that i had no choice but except how it looked. i will say that it looked better that the second pass but, the bulge is still there. visit your new build weekly take notes and measurements and come pair them to your lay out. ... My seller was awesome and attentive. Great to work with Amanda Hall. Not sure what his title is but Steve did my final walkthrough and was nice and respectful. However, I felt rushed to sign off. I signed off as complete even though there were several items that still needed some minor attention. He said the guys were coming that day so it was fine to go ahead and sign. When I moved in there was still blue tape in lots of spots. Looked like nothing I asked for was done. Also, the keys given to me on move in day didn’t work so it was disappointing to think I was walking into my new home but couldn’t. I will say Steve fixed the problem within the hour of calling. ... The home buying process was pretty smooth. I appreciated all the actors throughout the process providing excellent customer service & responsiveness to any inquiries I posed. I am quite disappointed that the 2019 taxes were passed on to me for the four months prior to my closing. As a disabled veteran I claim homestead exemption yet I have to pay for a tax that the seller should have incurred. Although not deceptive, I do think it was a bit underhanded for them to pass that tax off to me instead of paying it outright to the city. Especially for a house I didn’t occupy for the assessed months.

Construction Supervisor Charles did a great job at every phase and was in touch and available when I needed him.

The quality of counter in bathroom is poor lots of scratches already.

My wife and I love our townhome. The sales staff was professional, honest and helpful. The after sales staff has been helpful with a couple of minor issues and they are timely in their response. Unfortunately, we have had less than a happy experience with the KB mortgage side of the business. I will not recommend them.

I was pleased with the experience.

The overall house is great, we have a better than quoted SEER rating, but the toilet seat won't stay up. The hinges squeak on the pantry door. It is the little things that need attention. The KB Home crew has done an impressive job in correcting all the little detail items that have shown up in our first 30 days, if the subs would have done things correctly on the first go around there would be a 5 star rating up top.

I have had both the construction manager and sales manager both got promoted. Once the construction manager was promoted the things that were found after two weeks have yet to be resolved. I got the info for the gentleman who was supposed to take over we met I laid out all the concerns. It was a month later I had to email said gentleman because I had no update on my issues and it took him 5 days to respond.

From experience, the quality of some materials for this home are not on the same level as used to build my previous home. For example, the toilet seats are cheap plastic not quality materials, shower door assembly in master bedroom, walls leave scuff marks rather quickly, cracks in shower floor. Entry door from outside was improperly installed. The doors are not solid wood, but hollow pressed wood and not as secure. However, all issues were corrected when reported to KB representative, thus far.

New home buying experience can be intimidating but you just need to know what you need in your new home before you go to the studio.

Moved to new home a month back, no issues with any plumbing, electricity points. Construction quality seems good. Lot of units are still under construction and that causes some disturbance . HOA is very high for the facilities provided. Play area for children can be made better. Few outdoor exercise equipment provided are of no real use, they could have instead provided a gym or second play area for kids. Or rather reduce HOA.

Process started off positive. This was our second KB home so had some knowledge of the process and what to expect. As time progressed we were offered design credits and improvements that were told could not be accommodated at the 11th hour due to materials being ordered for the house construction placed by the previous buyer that fell out of the deal. Sales staff was prompt at replies prior to construction, but questions to answers toward completion of the house began to take a few days for a reply. My suggestion would be for sales to be transparent and design and construction to tighten communication so buyers are not promised upgrades that can’t be accommodated. The entire process building with KB was extremely smooth. We love the flexibility of choosing different options, changing floor plans, and adding different features to make our home unique. The only wish we had was better quality flooring/non-carpet options for the base options (carpet is pulling up and going flat after 1 month).

Finding my first house with KB Homes was a thrilling process. They were very responsive, they told me exactly what was required, and they provided me with steps to closing my deal.

If your picky about a few things let it be known before the construction begins. That way it’s done to your standards.

Quality of home is very good. Customer service since closing has been outstanding. Cleanliness of work site and new home at closing was an issue.

Could have used better quality fixtures. Also there is lots of overspray on the flooring. It very good at details.

The house is up to our standards. It's perfect for our family. We love it. However, sales person who was "helping" us was deceiving in what she said we would get in incentives. Read the fine print...Don't take any employees word as truth unless it's in writing. Made our first time home buying experience bitter sweet. We went through a lot to get our house, but since we moved in, It has been good. It helped that our lender was outside of KB or we would have not bough our house. Hope others experience is much better than ours was. The house is absolutely great thought!
