We love our new home, but we do not like our yard. KB needs to put more effort into how they sod and seed the outside. They left rocks everywhere and the sod is awful

They rushed to get us in to meet their quota.

Please make sure you are in contact with the staff and have items prepared. Don't be afraid to ask questions of any sort.

Quality of workmanship is lacking specifically painting of the doors, accent windows, etc. Still see paint drips and paint of glass of glass doors and windows. Make sure to fully understand what specials are being offered. Some of the sales rep are not familiar with the specials and can provide conflicting information. Have these resolve as soon as possible or you will lose out on the special.

We bought from KBHomes due to the cheaper price compared to other builders but it was a definitely a "you get what you pay for" experience. The house just looked okay from afar but when you get closer and closer you see the poor work done, the inconsistencies, the broken stuff underneath the surface, etc.

Cons: HOA is kind of expensive (no amenities or whatever) and the grass are uneven in the tiny park and sometimes there’s litters. Builder still has not replied or given me the garage opener they promised (it has been 2 months since we close), which shows they’re gonna be like that if some warranty issue happens. Loan officer keeps getting our names wrong during the process and the closing was postponed 2 times and only notify us hours away from it. Pros: Community is quiet. The house is fairly build.

I would rate this whole process 3 star, during the process of gathering paperwork was difficult due to a lot of miscommunication and some area during the process can improve. But overall I’m satisfied with my home, I do want to say that sale person and responsive to issues team is awesome.

Requires thorough inspection for construction defects.

We were very excited to work with KB because the sales team is great at making the presentation and making a lot of promises. Unfortunately, many of those promises were not delivered or brushed off. After we moved in, there were too many issues, small and bigger ones that need to be addressed. Yes, the warranty team is responsive but it requires us to be at home each time we wait to someone to show up to fix something. We are in the house for 6 weeks now and I had to take 8 days off from work to be at home. That is incredibly inconvenient for a brand new house.

Overall, KB Homes did a good job of helping us to move into our new home. I do wish the material/workmanship was better, but most issues have been fixed. Consequently, we are glad to be in our new home.

Things seemed a little rough at first. Now, things are being done to get the house in great shape. Everybody is very nice, trying their best to be accommodating.

Our build took 10-11 months and we received several updates that were inaccurate during the process. There were several occasions where work was advised to have been completed but was not. The quality of the build was nothing spectacular and there are plenty of flaws due to KB’s choice of contractors. We have been in the home for two months and we are still waiting for issues to be corrected; such as the lawn being replaced due to dead, weed infested grass being installed. Also, we were in the home for a month and we found out that our blinds were never ordered until we had already been in the home for 3 weeks but we paid for the blinds during our design process. Thankfully the supplier of the blinds was willing to prioritize our order due to the lack of dependability with KB. While I am mostly satisfied with my home, KB was not at all responsive to my issues during the construction. It was delayed by nearly a year but they wouldn't actually tell me that. They gave me an initial date and, once that passed, they wouldn't give me a date again until construction was complete (not even an estimate). Everyone I worked with at the start was either laid off or quit at some point during the construction. Our service team was laid off as soon as we closed escrow so we now have no one to go to in response to issues. We are told someone is about to be assigned to us but we closed escrow a few months ago. KB financial services need improvements! They need to work on their communication with the customers! It should be a clear path how they work together.

Problems with Purchasing Dept specifications and subs completing work.

The overall experience was longer than promised but worth the wait. I love my new home and community. The Superintendent, Dan, is amazing. He went above and beyond for me and my family.

Needs improvement on the quality of finishings upon turnover making sure that everything is finished.Needs to update some options and designs for more modern customize look.Needs improvement on addressing issues un a tumely manner.

Need to level switch light

numerous miner issues (i.e. paint and flooring) among others seem to keep cropping up

Others builder 's material and floor plan are better

If KB home would invest in better loan officer/processors then the experience would be better. Sales and súper intendant we’re great to work with though!

Get your loan from another company

The finished product was sloppy, especially the paint job Roof was not complete at walkthrough
