Things seemed a little rough at first. Now, things are being done to get the house in great shape. Everybody is very nice, trying their best to be accommodating.

Our build took 10-11 months and we received several updates that were inaccurate during the process. There were several occasions where work was advised to have been completed but was not. The quality of the build was nothing spectacular and there are plenty of flaws due to KB’s choice of contractors. We have been in the home for two months and we are still waiting for issues to be corrected; such as the lawn being replaced due to dead, weed infested grass being installed. Also, we were in the home for a month and we found out that our blinds were never ordered until we had already been in the home for 3 weeks but we paid for the blinds during our design process. Thankfully the supplier of the blinds was willing to prioritize our order due to the lack of dependability with KB. While I am mostly satisfied with my home, KB was not at all responsive to my issues during the construction. It was delayed by nearly a year but they wouldn't actually tell me that. They gave me an initial date and, once that passed, they wouldn't give me a date again until construction was complete (not even an estimate). Everyone I worked with at the start was either laid off or quit at some point during the construction. Our service team was laid off as soon as we closed escrow so we now have no one to go to in response to issues. We are told someone is about to be assigned to us but we closed escrow a few months ago. Overall we mostly like the house, and the employees are nice, but the corporate standard for customer service is far below anything I've ever experienced before. ... More

KB financial services need improvements! They need to work on their communication with the customers! It should be a clear path how they work together.

Problems with Purchasing Dept specifications and subs completing work.

The overall experience was longer than promised but worth the wait. I love my new home and community. The Superintendent, Dan, is amazing. He went above and beyond for me and my family.

Needs improvement on the quality of finishings upon turnover making sure that everything is finished.Needs to update some options and designs for more modern customize look.Needs improvement on addressing issues un a tumely manner.

Need to level switch light

numerous miner issues (i.e. paint and flooring) among others seem to keep cropping up

Others builder 's material and floor plan are better

If KB home would invest in better loan officer/processors then the experience would be better. Sales and súper intendant we’re great to work with though!

The finished product was sloppy, especially the paint job Roof was not complete at walkthrough

There are lot of exceptions and issues after our closing. Chris - our warranty manager was extremely helpful in trying to sort out the issues, but still the delay in exception lists are unacceptable. Also, the quality of the materials are not up to the mark.

Overall, we love the property. However, due to delayed timelines, it seems that construction process was rushed. The interior of the property did not go through a deep inspection before releasing it to us. We have several issues that should have been caught through internal inspection prior to releasing the home. The construction team particularly Danny has been extremely helpful. In addition, third-party company working with KB to resolve issue particularly Richard is very helpful. Sales experience needs to improve. They should over communicate and keep in close contact with the customers throughout the home buying journey. This way customers have an overall improved experience of buying future homes. ... More

They was ok ,but could do better on the quality of their yards and construction workers work. But overall I give them a 3

The date of closing was pushed almost 3 months. The response for the delayed closing date could have been handled better. Other than that issue the overall buying experience was fair.

KB Homes has great selection of features for the home. However, everything costs money: you want lights in a room? It is going to cost you. You want lights in the kitchen and living room? It is going to cost you. It does NOT come with lights, only outlets for "lamps". Be aware of the great variety of options available, as they can be costly and increase the home purchase price significantly higher. Overall, so far, great quality home (2 months in). Also, plan for significant delays. If they expect the home to be "finished" by a certain month, plan at least 1-2 months more of delays. That way, you'll have somewhere to stay. ... More

My sales rep, Sara S., was absolutely wonderful. She was very responsive and attentive to any issue or question i had, even on her off days.

The value of the house was great, but the quality control of the workmanship was poor and responses to issues didn't get fix in a timely manner.

It has been long but over all I'm content. I just wish they responded faster to issues

We have had 3 consecutive new homes built. This by far is the worst experience of all! Materials are adequate yet the workmanship is poor.

The quality of the finished product at final walk through was not as expected. The project manager did not seem concerned that this final issues we pointed out 2 weeks before closing were not fixed the day before we were to close. We had to beg them to get the issues fixed 24 hrs. before closing. We have also had a number of issues after closing. The driveway needed to be redone twice and the roof leaked into the home and things got wet inside. Other than that we like the home and the floorplan works well.

I felt the house was rushed , lots of cosmetic issue that can be avoided. Missing items

I Had a decent experience. Best part was how consistent the property manager at Carter landing Keri was. She was the best with keeping me informed of progress of the home while it was being built . I didn’t care for how inconsistent the superintendent was. Seemed like he was overwhelmed with his work load. He could use an assistant covering so many communites
