Overall, the home buying process was seamless. The KB home team was very professional and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I have encountered some minor issues where some has been addressed due to contractor errors. There are some that I have encountered and are awaiting resolution. In comparison to some of the horror stories that I have heard I am thankful for only minor problems. I do get a third party inspection and will get another closer to my one year mark.

A Mostly Wonderful Home Buying Journey with Room for Improvement Overall, my home buying experience was very good, largely thanks to the excellent people involved, though the final product's workmanship left a bit to be desired. The human element of this process was truly exceptional. The entire team made the journey enjoyable and manageable: Brad was outstanding in sales. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first visit. His professionalism set a high standard for the entire process. Heather was a fantastic liaison. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and always ready to help navigate the many moving parts of the build. She was a true advocate for us! Rachel at the Design Studio was a pleasure to work with. Her expertise and guidance made the selection process fun, and the materials we chose for the home were of very good quality and exactly what we wanted. While the team and the materials were excellent, the workmanship fell a little short. We had a few problems that were somewhat frustrating to deal with after we moved in, ranging from minor cosmetic flaws to a couple of more significant items that needed fixing. While the problems were eventually addressed, the need for these fixes detracted from the otherwise stellar experience. It's a shame that the high-quality materials and excellent design studio selections weren't matched by equally high-quality execution in every detail of the build. I would absolutely recommend this builder based on the exceptional sales experience, the high-quality materials, and the outstanding support from key team members like Brad, Heather, and Rachel. They are a massive asset. However, future buyers should be prepared to be diligent with their inspections, as the workmanship quality needs a little improvement to match the rest of the fantastic home-buying experience. ... We have enjoyed the home buying process from KB Home from the initial contact, to choosing the style off home we wanted, regularly being informed of when construction would start, updates during the construction phase and the final completion and the final walk through. Justin has been very helpful with educating us with customer service and the home warranty. Communication between Justin and us has been excellent. He has answered all of our questions and it is a pleasure to have him as our customer/warranty representative. We are loving our home!

Over all are good just the price of the house so high

The sales team, July and Leyla were very helpful since the purchase initiation to the final move-in. Kevin is also very professional and responsive to all service requests, creating a smooth moving in and settling experience.

My son, and I bought a home together. We loved the idea of a “new build.” We did not create our home from the ground up, but, we did find a “move in ready” property. We had a seamless experience, because of that. Amanda walked us through the property, and was in full contact with us, as well as my agent, throughout the whole purchasing process. She was just an email, or even a phone call, away. Still is!!! Jesse, the superintendent, did a thorough walk through with me, and showed me all of the features, and how they worked. I needed repair to my garage door, and Jesse handled that for us in less than a week. Everyone we have encountered, on our home buying journey, has been informative, caring, thorough, and trustworthy. The finance team was the best part as they went above and beyond any questions I had. They were right on and transparent with all costs.

The KB Team I worked with was extremely professional and accessible. From the Sales Rep to the Design Rep to the Construction Rep. They made this a very pleasant experience.

The buying experience has been terrible. The loan office staff was fantastic. However, I would not consider anything else good. The workmanship was terrible and the materials are beyond cheap. Repairs take forever to get done, if they get done at all, and are often done incorrectly again. Responses from the pm were slow or didn’t occur unless we called people higher up or from other departments. They literally stuffed paper towels into the crevices between the mortar and siding and then put the sealant over it in hopes we wouldn’t notice, which we have pictures of. That is a huge fire hazard and most definitely not up to code. There were multiple other issues and we will absolutely never buy from them again or recommend them to anyone else. ... More

Our experience from start to finish was a seamless one encountered no delays or complications

The Sales Team throughout the KB Network were amazing. When we landed on Mystic Vista as the community with our preferred home, we received exceptional service from the Sales Team (Heidi was amazing) and the lending team (Ioana & Roxanna were fantastic), but once we signed and took the keys, we had problem after problem. Starting with a laundry list of poor finish work and culminating with multiple vendor issues and communication difficulties with the post-sale team. Not to mention, KB pushed us to download their app, but 45 days after taking the keys, the app still says we haven't closed on escrow or gotten the keys or moved in. The whole post-sale process has felt very much like we've moved from valued customer to just a homesite number. If you are willing to stay on top of their team and diligently tackle the multitude of repairs or problems that will come along with the purchase, then this could be the right neighborhood builder for you. ... So far, the house looks very good structurally and visually. We hope it continues this way. The finishes look great. I only have one recommendation for future construction: to improve the soundproofing a bit, because you can hear the noise of the cars on the highway. But the rest is very good. Richard, the superintendent, has been attentive and constant. He has been very attentive. And Carmen, the saleswoman, has been fantastic. Good work, both of them.

From the beginning to the end, I had no complaints. Everyone involved in this process was always available to answer questions or concerns. Everything went smoothly. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Great job KB Home!

As first time homebuyers we are grateful for the KB homes experience from the beginning of the process until we got our first home. All stuffs and crew are very delighted to help us every step of the way. Now we are enjoying our home.

I have had a great overall experience with KB and the entire team. From the pre-sale purchase, steps in between, and moving in.

I changed jobs, had emergency surgery all through the building process and I never had to worry about the house. They kept in contact every week and sent pictures on the progress. Everyone from the sales team to the design center and construction were all great people to work with.
