Cody said he would replace our driveway and power wash our garage that’s covered in paint. I’ll be happy to change this after that is done but it’s now been just about 2 months and we are getting the run around we feel like with no direct answer. Our furnace acts ups time to time. The paint inside the house is super cheap and if you accidentally rub your shoulder in the wall it scratches. We love the house as a whole just want the driveway replaced and garage power washed and I’ll be happy. Oh we also had construction workers steal water from our hose which isn’t normal.

The entire kb home team are fantastic to work with. It's special to have everyone from sales, construction, to Customer Service giving the service that truly makes you feel special. The Communications Hill community is beautiful and is the best new home place to buy in the bay area for value. I am very happy with my new home.

We moved in, and shortly after, the COVID19 quarantine went into effect. So, this had a bearing on the responsiveness to our requests. The biggest plus are the people we have been in contact with to address our issues. They are quick to answer our emails. This is our second new KB home, and we immediately noticed a better service and product from our first experience 11 years ago. I understand that the models are “cookie cutter,” with many upgraded options, but it would be nice if some structural items could be changed, like a pocket door or garage options that wouldn’t change the engineering structure of the home. Everything went well with a few hiccups along the way. We are settling in and getting the hiccups worked out. Still need a few things done. Very disappointed in the landscaping. Small ailing plants. Definitely C grade. A lot of dead grass. They came back and took out a lot of it but simply didn’t finish. Now we have several large areas with no grass. I will call super about it soon.

Overall people at KB are nice. However, need to improve the partner Sunpower and the escrow. The escrow has not transfer the file to the HOA yet and it closed about 2 months ago.

The home buying experience was great with KB. Everyone that my husband and I worked with was very kind and knowledgeable. They did everything in their power to make the experience great. When we came across any obstacles, they responded quickly and it was resolved.

Our home building and buying process was very smooth. Everyone was very professional and personable. All of our questions were answered before and after our process. Most importantly everything was done within the timeframe given.

Overall it was a positive home buying experience with the exception of the lender which was a hit mess. To deal with a hot mess lender, I would give a larger incentive than a few thousand dollars, not worth it. Bring own lender and you will have the best experience with the friendliest and responsive staff. Some of the actual laborers lack enough care to their job and did some sloppy work but the people above them made them fix it.

Dissatisfaction

I must say it was pretty stressful but Amanda made the process less stressful. I love my home and enjoyed watching it get built. There were things that needed to be touched up but all I had to do was make a phone call and KB made sure someone reached to me to get the matter taken care of.

Bill has been more than helpful with everything we need. He sure made up for any problems we have had with the long closing process we sure do appreciate him.

The people are great. Very nice and helpful to work with. Disappointed in the quality.

Have nothing but good things to say about KB Home sales staff! Helpful from beginning to end. That being said, it's been nothing but frustration getting things fixed and fixed correctly. Poor workmanship and no response are the main issues.
