I want buyers to be very careful when you buying houses with this company, what you see in the models is not what your actually gonna to get if your not paying close attention. So, please pay attention to what house your getting and ask questions!!

KB Homes in Madera is a nice community but I have been in my home almost 2 months and i still have several issues with my home. Workmanship is not the greatest and communication is also lacking. KB is determined to correct all the issues however it is liking pulling teeth trying to get the repairs scheduled.

The overall process was not too great. The KB team was not always communicating with me about what the next steps were. Because of the back orders they were not able to tell me when I would be able to get my microwave vent.

communication is a huge issue. There were several times when valuable information was not passed over to us as home buyers (like the closing date being moved). I understand delays due to shortages and labor but I expected to be told about them. Also, it seems that after you close you are on your own. We had an issue with water coming back into the house after the water softener drainage pipe had become backed up. The warranty rep told me to get some towels to clean up the dirty water that had saturated my carpet. I tried to reach his manager and got no response. Would not recommend KB.

KB failed in my view in handling customer service in view of the pandemic and builder problems that ensued and affected the buyers. Employees in the field were left to handle questions/problems without support from management.

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

Within the first month we had issues with the down stairs bathroom toilet clogging. We also had water coming/flooding from the upstairs shower through the walls down stairs. I was assured there was no damage, however, I don't know how this can be known if no one went in to look. I worry about mold developing in the future. Also there was a busted sprinkler pipe in the yard which flooded the yard and inflated my water bill. There are a handful of other things
