KB failed in my view in handling customer service in view of the pandemic and builder problems that ensued and affected the buyers. Employees in the field were left to handle questions/problems without support from management.

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

Within the first month we had issues with the down stairs bathroom toilet clogging. We also had water coming/flooding from the upstairs shower through the walls down stairs. I was assured there was no damage, however, I don't know how this can be known if no one went in to look. I worry about mold developing in the future. Also there was a busted sprinkler pipe in the yard which flooded the yard and inflated my water bill. There are a handful of other things

This is my first actual new home I’ve ever purchased. Prior to my purchase I had a used home that was made by KB when I lived in SoCal. Initially the commitment to customer service and quality helped seal the deal, as we got more into the process these things quickly disappeared. Part of what we were sold was the commitment to communication, customer service, and quality. 1 Low Voc paint is tacky months later on all the flat surfaces and I am going to have to do something else to fix that as it's already ruined 2 Plastic plumbing parts that are already breaking 3 Yard was not leveled when filled and before sod was put down so it is tacky looking and uneven. My wife and I found Aurora Heights about ten months ago as a developing community. The first impressions were very grand. 3 weeks after my 10 day walk through and I’m still trying to get items fixed. Love the home. Sales was great and the construction was done on time.
