House was not ready at closing. Stated things would be handled shortly after. Now over a month still having unresolved issues including neighborhood infrastructure still not ready. Yard grading is terrible. Landscaping installed half dead. Was made to close way to fast and early. House should of been completed before closing

Finance took too long with certain documents which caused the closing to be delayed several times. The house is not fully complete and there were many flaws in the home. Found poor quality work and many items needed to go through warranty. It seemed like a rushed home. Still waiting on items to be taken care of even though several months have gone by since living in the home. Majority of the items owner had call the contractors for each job directly. It felt like I was doing someone else’s job.

The subfloor on the second floor is completely loose, whenever you walk on some spots you can feel it moving and making noise cracking. When we moved in, we have bees right above our front porch, 2 months pass they still trying to figure out how to remove them. Small details they are fast to fix, but some more complicated problems they take time. Poor job on details. Food materials

The home buying as far as the loan and sales were ok. The quality of the workmanship on the home is subpar. No quality control. The vendors used needs to be held more accountable for their sloppy workmanship. Still awaiting response for my squeaking floors. Placed a workorder several weeks ago and no one has responded.

It took 15 months to build our home start to finish and it wasn’t even fully completed when we were pressured to close at the end of April 2023 so corporate could meet their goals, and we are now facing ongoing repairs and issues with the craftsmanship inside the home. KB REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to pay better workers to come in and build the homes. You guys would save so much money in the long run. Stop thinking so short-term with your costs and just think what a glowing review we’d have left you if your craftsmanship would’ve been better. Also, if the home would’ve actually been completed ...

There was an existing drainage issue. KB's representative and her manager assured us that the drainage would be addressed in a couple of months last November. It has been seven months, and my driveway was flooded with water last night after the rain. I tried to follow up, but there was no response.

Quality of work is kind of substandard. Stucco paint fell off in my front of the house. Laundry door is not shutting properly and misalign. A few items that was not being install during the walkthrough I have to go back to my list contract to provide those item. Nails found in our backyard . carpet installation not install properly and some other issues not to mention. Noted that this is my 2nd KB home that I purchase probably my last one. In fairness Troy, Chad and Klay are very helpful and professional.

Material used for home are cheap. Blue tape was taken lightly and not fixed appropriately. Claim calls have been great! Response has been fast.

There are some that go out of their way for service and others that use excuses as to why they can not help. The drainage of the lots are not into ponds or conservation area, and there is no recyclable water in phase 2, leaving very high water bills, no street lights, no amenities, and no customer service.

Well............from the time we signed purchase agreement to move in, in between that period it was ok, it's when the walk through came up...I will stop right here because there is not enough space to leave a review for that. Overall, we are not happy to say the least.

We experienced a number of issues, such as bathroom sink cracked, doors can't close, some parts are missing etc...... Some contractors didn't response call for repairs, such as carpet repairman refused to answer phone calls, text message..... Hopefully, things will move faster in 2023.

Most of my issues are with KBHS. Very incompetent. My understanding is that since my closing they fired about half the KBHS staff at the regional office. Been 7 weeks since closing and still waiting for a refund for double charging me for an appraisal. Also still waiting for items that were not completed and have yet to be fixed. Overall the home is very nice and we like the area. Stay away from KBHS if you can. Reason I gave value for the price paid 2 stars is that they are currently selling my model for $20,000 less than I paid.

Personally the people are personable. Questions are always answered and I appreciate that. The quality of my home is not that great. I feel like the home was rushed, even though the home took longer than expected to be completed. Unfinished painting around the home, chips and dents as well. All in all, promises are not kept and quality is not there either. Not a great first home buying experience on their end.

Sales guy was very thoughtful and helpful all the time by the way has been the only one that threat us with respect. Contractors and superintendent make us feel like we're not paying for a quality home and what we're getting is what we got very irresponsible at the time to give us a answer or make and appoinent at this time we still waiting for repairs from our first walktrough and we still without cabinet doors has been a challenge with all our founding in the first walktrough and still are there waiting that someone will show up and threat us with respect and care. I purchased my new home from KB homes. I was in a tight spot and needed a home rather quickly. This one was available so I bought it. The craftsmanship and materials used were not worth the price paid for the home. Honestly, I would never buy or recommend a KB built home again. Corners were cut, the quality of work was sacrificed, and the materials used were prioritized in order to maximize profits. I understand this and can’t blame them. No one forced me to buy this home. Had to give a bad review before we could get a response to issues that needed to be addressed. Project Manager and Asst. Project Manager were not on the same page as one would say one thing about the work that need to be done and the other would say something else. They gave you the feeling that when you called about a problem that needed to be addressed that you were only a complainer.

Did care for the loan process. Came into home three months left of building, As someone backed out of purchase. The lay out I have, I don’t care for. Not as functional as it should be. The work was rushed. Not worth the price I paid. In a situation I was in, I was ready just to have a home and I settled. KB could be better, my first home build from them was good. Not this time around. The maintenance supervisor, Glen, watching over the build process is great and helpful. That’s my only positive experience this time around.

Kelly the sales person almost never responded to emails. My realtor, myself, and my lender would send her things and I would have to call several times just to get a response. Timelines were critical, the whole home building process took over a year. Understandable, with COVID there were a ton of supply chain issues, those were communicated to me.
