Good sales folks, good contacts, help during home finish and move in. Poor followup after move in, not responsive to little home finish issues.

We moved with lot of expectations but it seems like expectations doesn’t work parallel with kb homes construction

Very slow to react to any issues with our new home.

I’m still waiting for issues to be resolved and for item already paid for to be delivered.

it's been over a MONTH almost two, that our garage door opener or electricity is not working in the garage. Ridiculous. My daughter's house - the kitchen sink fell down on mount. Leaked water everywhere.

Decent home. Seems like hires crews rather finish work quickly than provide quality work.

They claim that you have a full warranty, but getting things taken care of is like pulling teeth. Wouldn’t go with this builder again.

The red no parking zones in the streets were not disclosed to us. Nor was the parking on only one side of the street. Didn't know we were getting a small kid size toilet for one of the restrooms. My heater was not working on move in. After move in there is way too much construction going on and I'm in the middle of all that noise.

After the purchase of my home was completed, the issues that were remaining to be resolved have still not been resolved fully and it’s been 3 1/2 months. I can’t get anybody to respond to my messages even though they told me they will stay connected with me for six months and that they won’t forget me just because the purchase is completed. I have learned that that is not true

Our Overall Experience was ok.

A lot of problems I wish I was on them while the house was building but I didn’t know what I expected until the other home were building. I will not build a home with KB again

We gave you an excellent review when we first moved in, but since then we have had a bad experience with Sunpower. We had solar in our previous home and wanted to use our previous contractor, but KB required us to use Sunpower. We closed escrow on Dec. 2, 2020, and we still do not have solar activation as of Feb.17, 2021. Sunpower can give us no good reason for the delay. They said the City had the wrong address on the permit. (sounds like an excuse from Sunpower) When we called Sunpower, we talked to someone in the Philippines and then someone in Texas. We get monthly reports that list ZERO in the data because the solar is not activated. How can we get this resolved? Do we have to remove the panels and get our own contractor ? When this community is done it will be awesome! You can take the light rail to downtown and you are near DIA. PARKS , restaurants, and community events is what makes this home.

My experience with KB was pretty great until closing came. First they picked a day for the final walkthrough and did not give me an option. I was told to show up at this time to inspect before closing. When I got there the house was in totally disarray and not close to being finished. Construction manager said he would have it move in ready within the next 5 days. I showed up 7 days later work that was agreed upon was not finished and Moore damage had been done due to trying to finish quickly. Overall I had to go back and forth four times each time was better but not what was promised. I could not trust the manager or his word as I caught him in multiple lies and he tried to hide defects in the house. Luckily I am around construction and knew what to look for. It was not move in ready until the regionals after got involved and put new crews to do the work right were called it. After living here for a few months now I can really see how poor quality of a build this home is. If you want quality look else where. If you want cheep work with a poor coverup call KB home. ... Sarah in the sales office was amazing. Roger superintentent of construction was awesome as well. Lots of flaws in the KB designs ithat they didnt care to fix for me. Received crappy counter top design that they didnt care to make right. Will have to fix myself.

KB has really nice designs and locations to pick ,however lack of workmanship and people with good customer service skills are needed to be improved by KB home

experience was good Pam, loan officer Brad and Super attended Rick were A+ service. quality still need to be improved but KB is taking care of the issues that we found

lacking quality of build. no interior insulation - you hear everything from the next rooms , especially from the bathrooms and kitchen. Very sloppy!! You get what you pay for.

I'm so frustrated with overall build quality issues and non responsiveness to the reported issues for warranty. Never going to buy a KB Home again.

It would be great if could stay a week or two to check over everything before signing. So you can see what need to be fixed or more attention received

We’ve had several concerns and building issues. Overall, most have been corrected or at least addressed.

Its Okay

New construction house still can find several things need to be reworked/ repaired. Ex. ceiling LED lights falling, missing cabinet shelf, drill holes, uneven wall, leaking sprinkler, and crack driveway due to the Community concrete work.

I wish I could have given a better rating but I have to be honest about this review. In my opinion, the construction material is not the greatest quality. We noticed a few things since moving in, such as our front door does not feel secure. A corner of the front door near the lock is cracked, and someone used something like clay to patch the crack. The front door pops open a little even when the door is locked. The lock does not turn completely to assure the lock won’t reopen. The front door feels like hard plastic instead of real wood. The door in the master bathroom does not close unless you try lifting the door. Also the kitchen outlets does not work. Most door knobs lock counter clockwise which drives me crazy because I want to turn the locks clockwise. I gave home buying experience a 3 because there was a lot of miscommunication throughout the home buying Process with the financial department. I think you get a decent size home for the price, but quality and attention to detail shouldn’t be sacrificed ... More

Buildup materials are very good. Our property model was designed to cancel outside noise. Very quiet inside the house. Quality of workmanship should be double and triple checked for the general contractor and subcontractors. Upon occupancy of the property, we came across items that were damaged and loose fixtures. Painters failed to remove edging tapes, clean their areas, and windows were dirty. KB has a checklist during a walk-through. The company definitely can improve reliability of the subcontractors to keep them at a higher standard. A quality control or a checklist should be performed for each sub’s workmanship. Given the current Pandemic, KB made every effort to resolve issues in a timely manner. ... More
