Slow on finishing up punch out list items

All personnel I interact with were very accommodating. Thank you! window measurements are not the same on same window sizes. front grass lawn were dying, 60 percent weeds.

The reason I gave them a 3 was, because we have had issues with leaking pipes, electrical, and craftsmanship. Despite all that, we’ve been happy with the rest of our home, we love it. And the customer service rep assigned to us has been AMAZING! Every single problem we have had, within minutes he has contacted the required parties, and has someone in our home the same day, usually within a couple hours. That has been our best experience with KB homes thus far

I got to say the quality of the materials are very good a solid foundation. The value for the home I think I paid a little to much it was a new plan and the layout didn't have that open layout I was looking for. I order a cabinet two months before closing and still haven't come in from the manufacture. We closed a six weeks ago and still have not received my kitchen cabinet and now seems to know when are if it's been order. I call the builder and the company it takes days are weeks for someone to respond back. end of the day, the house is 5 star quality build and I believe it will stand the test of time. ... More

John our sales guy is awesome! The issues we have faced is with the problems with simple things: with windows that aren't straight, knocking in the walls, cement that was broken never being fixed or scheduled to be fixed. We have been called, but the repair team is awful. Our specific guy has not communicated well, when we have told him issues he has said, "that's just the way it is." When he has scheduled things often times we were at work and we had told him we couldn't be there. When the crews came to fix the issues they have done a great job, unfortunately we still have at least three issues that haven't been fixed. ... More

You get what you paid for!!!

The painting, tile work and concrete work was poor. I realize that this is not a custom home but the work above bad.

The major parts of the home were built well. However, we have had so many electrical issues and issues with the paint. The responsiveness to get things fixed has been good, but only after I got the regional manager Ed involved. KB home needs to do a better job at doing things right the first time instead of doing things again. The roof has already had a leak due to the laziness of the roofing crew not putting on one of the vents which caused the lights in the master bedroom to short out. The paint job in some areas was mediocre at best. Also, the house was dirty once we moved in. KB home needs to reclean my home or reimburse me the cleaning fee and charge the cleaning crew for their lack of care. ... More

Poor paint job!

Overall, we are happy with our purchase. John, the site manager, was very attentive to our needs and questions. Also, Angela, in sales, was a great help and very personable!

CHECK EVERYTHING WHEN MOVING IN. THE HOUSE IS WELL DONE, BUT SOME THINGS MAY BE FORGOTTEN BY THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARGE.

From start to finish it was a pleasent experience. I would suggest KB homes to use better quality products to compete with other builders.

Builder does not listen to suggestion. Afraid to spend an extra 50 dollars

The home I purchased in Tucson is overall wonderful. KB Homes designed and built a very good, solid home. It is in a great location, central to many conveniences. The home is priced competitively. The design is excellent, with a spacious great room as well as spacious bedrooms and closets. The home has some very nice views of the mountains. Upgraded floor tiles and kitchen cabinets and backsplash are beautiful. I have been looking for a house for about a year and this home was the first that met most of my criteria. KB sales agent was very helpful with the home purchase process. KB staff is friendly and want to help. However, there were many smaller issues that needed repair in the home prior to when I moved in and they did not all get fixed after the walk-through and prior to the close of escrow, So I now am still getting these things fixed a few months after moving in, which is not ideal. Many of these issues could have been prevented if the building superintendent or his staff had checked on the quality of their work. For example, dirty gloves and nails were left on the roof of the patio cover, paint was uneven, paint was found on carpet, floors, and even cabinets, master bath exhaust fan not working, master shower door was stuck and not lined up to close, front porch light was not working, half of the plants put in the front yard were poor quality or nearly dead. This is only a partial list but shows that home was rushed to complete on time without attention to quality. Customer service afterward was good and there is a good warranty on the home, but it would have been much better if KB found and corrected the issues prior to the client noticing. Also, with all the construction going on, there is often trash blowing over my front yard, and broken tiles and nails on the road. The common areas also have trash and broken glass which makes it difficult for me to walk my dog. It probably would be better to not allow clients to live in the area until all the construction is complete and everything is safe and clean. Overall though, I would definitely consider KB Homes if you find a home you like. KB has asked and listened to my feedback and hopefully some constructive improvements will happen. ... More

Buying the home with Karen and Pamela was easy and pleasant. There have been several workmanship issues that now, almost 3 months in, haven’t all been taken care of. Everyone is SUPER nice, but it’s inconvenient to have to take off of work to get things fixed or to wait so long on solutions.

They need to improve on customer service

They gave attention to every tiny details. I'm very happy with the construction and also with the maintenance.

The best buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was great to work with and the sales staff was very responsive to all of my concerns. I was disappointed with the initial interior painting of the walls and doors, but KB Home was quick to rectify the issue and make sure that I was happy with the final outcome. The house is very energy efficient and I would highly recommend this builder.

The only issue I'm having is the delay in responding to my issues, concerns with warranty dept.

I overall had a positive experience. I’m happy with my home, but there have been issues at the end when we moved in. Our Dishwasher didn’t work when we moved in, and it took several phone calls and emails to get at response from the builder. We still have a broken closet door, and a shower that constantly drips. We were sold that KB was good with details, but that hasn’t been our experience. During the construction process though they were great. Great communication, and super helpful. It’s just too bad, we had so many things not working when we moved in.

kB homes at all satisfaction but some issue are not solved

When I locked in on my home . I was suppose to get updates got one update then once the home was finshed My closing was set back 5 times that was terrible . I found out some people got blinds that came with the home . We didn’t get any and some people got electric garage door opener I didn’t receive it . when I wanted to change the plans for the home they told me everything was already picked I didn’t have a choice . Some homes got a roof over their back porch slab I didn’t get that either why ? they told me it didn’t come with the home . I love my New home I didn’t have any problems with the build or walk throughs . The Grass was dead when they put it down and it still will not turn green no matter how much water I put . It’s horrible please be mindful when you pick a home and make sure you check on your home when they are building it . I came out every other day and watch the build if not you will have problems in your home . I also came out and continue to shut my windows and doors . If not “rain will get in and cause mold . The home buying process and closing went smoothly, and the purchase was completed without any issues. During the final walk-through, several issues were identified that needed to be corrected. However, four months later, some of these issues still remain unresolved. We have been in contact with the KB Home VP representative and are expecting all pending items to be resolved within the next couple of weeks, as previously promised.

My experience with KB Home in Wilder Pines, Lakeland, FL has been frustrating. Since moving in, I’ve encountered ongoing issues with the quality and condition of my home. I’ve reached out to the customer service team several times, but the follow-up has been inconsistent, and many of my concerns remain unresolved. One of the most challenging aspects has been the lack of communication. Promises to return calls or provide updates have not been followed through, which has left me feeling overlooked during a time when support should be a priority. I expected better accountability and service after closing on my home. Unfortunately, my experience has not met those expectations. I hope KB Home takes steps to improve their post-closing support and overall customer care. At this time, I would not feel comfortable recommending them based on my experience. ... More
