The reason I gave them a 3 was, because we have had issues with leaking pipes, electrical, and craftsmanship. Despite all that, we’ve been happy with the rest of our home, we love it. And the customer service rep assigned to us has been AMAZING! Every single problem we have had, within minutes he has contacted the required parties, and has someone in our home the same day, usually within a couple hours. That has been our best experience with KB homes thus far

I got to say the quality of the materials are very good a solid foundation. The value for the home I think I paid a little to much it was a new plan and the layout didn't have that open layout I was looking for. I order a cabinet two months before closing and still haven't come in from the manufacture. We closed a six weeks ago and still have not received my kitchen cabinet and now seems to know when are if it's been order. John our sales guy is awesome! The issues we have faced is with the problems with simple things: with windows that aren't straight, knocking in the walls, cement that was broken never being fixed or scheduled to be fixed. We have been called, but the repair team is awful. Our specific guy has not communicated well, when we have told him issues he has said, "that's just the way it is." When he has scheduled things often times we were at work and we had told him we couldn't be there. The major parts of the home were built well. However, we have had so many electrical issues and issues with the paint. The responsiveness to get things fixed has been good, but only after I got the regional manager Ed involved. KB home needs to do a better job at doing things right the first time instead of doing things again. The roof has already had a leak due to the laziness of the roofing crew not putting on one of the vents which caused the lights in the master bedroom to short out. The paint job in some areas was mediocre at best. Also, the house was dirty once we moved in. KB home ...

The home I purchased in Tucson is overall wonderful. KB Homes designed and built a very good, solid home. It is in a great location, central to many conveniences. The home is priced competitively. The design is excellent, with a spacious great room as well as spacious bedrooms and closets. The home has some very nice views of the mountains. Buying the home with Karen and Pamela was easy and pleasant. There have been several workmanship issues that now, almost 3 months in, haven’t all been taken care of. Everyone is SUPER nice, but it’s inconvenient to have to take off of work to get things fixed or to wait so long on solutions.

The best buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was great to work with and the sales staff was very responsive to all of my concerns. I was disappointed with the initial interior painting of the walls and doors, but KB Home was quick to rectify the issue and make sure that I was happy with the final outcome. The house is very energy efficient and I would highly recommend this builder.

I overall had a positive experience. I’m happy with my home, but there have been issues at the end when we moved in. Our Dishwasher didn’t work when we moved in, and it took several phone calls and emails to get at response from the builder. We still have a broken closet door, and a shower that constantly drips. We were sold that KB was good with details, but that hasn’t been our experience. During the construction process though they were great. Great communication, and super helpful. It’s just too bad, we had so many things not working when we moved in.

When I locked in on my home . I was suppose to get updates got one update then once the home was finshed My closing was set back 5 times that was terrible . I found out some people got blinds that came with the home . We didn’t get any and some people got electric garage door opener I didn’t receive it . when I wanted to change the plans for the home they told me everything was already picked I didn’t have a choice . The home buying process and closing went smoothly, and the purchase was completed without any issues. During the final walk-through, several issues were identified that needed to be corrected. However, four months later, some of these issues still remain unresolved. We have been in contact with the KB Home VP representative and are expecting all pending items to be resolved within the next couple of weeks, as previously promised.
