KB Leadership clearly just throws their customer facing reps to the wolves & leaves them hanging with little to no true managerial support. Its sad, its just hard to see the age old concept of a 'faceless corp.' at work... This company clearly cares about profits & investors far more then they could ever care about the person that is spending their life savings on their product? Too bad, they could be such a better company if they just tried to listen & understand their customers concerns...

The kitchen cabinet (style and color) selection was not to our liking. There was very limited choice. In the end, we had to repaint the whole cabinetry. Also within month of moving-in, one of the cabinet drawers door fell down - poor quality and materials.

Final result was a nice home with a few flaws. The process getting there was slow, poorly managed, significantly delayed and a last minute mad dash allowing for small flaws to be easily overlooked. Perhaps that's the strategy of the builder. Overall the project seemed chaotic with poor project management resulting in tons of contractor rework because someone isn't familiar with scheduling and order of operations to build a home. There were all sorts of mistakes throughout the construction process, a few of which were major. It was difficult to get many of these addressed at all, let alone in a timely fashion. By the time we finally closed (after the closing date had been moved back many times), most of the problems had been addressed in a fairly satisfactory manner, but some problems remain today, since we were just not able to wait any longer before closing, and fixing some of these issues would require major demolition and reconstruction (e.g. entryway walls and corners being very far out of square). Homes are nice for the most part. Be sure to do your research and stay on top of things along the way. Seems like there is too much pressure to give people there keys but not fix build issues right away, that shouldn't be there in the first place. Holding trades accountable would be a good start.

Quadruple check your brick when it gets delivered, colors do not match studio. Double check all electrical. We had a plug that wasn’t even wired. Double check with your local paint store for the paint first. Our whole house is painted with paint they do not produce anymore. Therefore to fix a scratch. I have to paint the whole wall. Color can be matched. But paints are vastly different. Takes longer than they say it’ll take. Just add a few months. If they say June. Expect august/September. We were pushed back 3 months from our original date.

Jeffrey the Sales person was very friendly, professional and communicative when addressing any questions in regards to the sale. I was not pleased that after I had placed a deposit on the home, I was sent an amendment that the Model Home I was purchasing was being sold AS IS. The AS IS status was not addressed with me by the seller before I put a down payment on the Model Home. Where to begin. The overall experience out of 5 stars regarding KB as a whole I would give is a 3 across the board. The reason for this is the lack of prompt, timely and consistent communication. Specifically from the KB Home and Construction Manager associates we enter acted with from beginning to end. Out Home Loan Consultant, Joe was amazing and very much a valuable asset to KB’s team. Our first home-buying experience was ok in the end, but not this 2nd time. We had a flooring issue the first time that was resolved before we closed. Through that experience we feel that the rating system is off in our opinion. We gave a 9/10 due to the problems with the floor, but had the construction manager at our door pleading it be changed to a 10. We thought 9/10 was pretty darn good considering the flooring headache. Otherwise, that first experience was ok. Now we move on to this next experience. It has become a nightmare. The home is way way way more expensive than our first KB home, ...

Contractors KB home uses are horible

Plumbing contractor states loose sink does not need to be fixed. Painter was good but contractor that does medicine cabinet replaced damaged medicine cabinet with another damaged medicine cabinet. Contractors have no regard for dirt as they track in mud with their boots and do not offer to clean up their mess.

I would not recommend KB Homes to anyone. Unless they really wanted to be in the community that KB is developing. Build quality, craftsmanship and finish and attention to details is inferior to many other builders Like Terry Homes

The ability to get the site approved, financing approved, selection of floor plans, etc. was excellent. The home, however, was rushed and the finish work is terrible. Damaged door, drywall tape visible all over the place, caulk lines look like they were done by a drunk, silicon cracking around sinks within a month. Responses to repairs are excruciatingly slow. 2 months to get a medicine cabinet installed that should've been there prior to closing. Worker sent for drywall repair made a mess and the repairs were horrible. Next guy did well to fix his predecessors work but then used the wrong ...

KB homes is affordable for most families. Our best experience was with the real estate agent assigned to the new homesite. They definitely need to improve with the quality of workmanship that goes into the home.
