There is no ownership of the contractors hired to build the homes. When I call to complain because my “NEW” home is having issues. I continuously hear “that’s the contractors fault”. The way I see it, if KB hires the contractor to do the job they should be checking over the work and making sure it’s up to the standard that KB is claiming.

I was surprise that I had so many issues after closing on my KB home. I bought my house contrary to my realtor, telling me not to buy through KB homes. I hope they will use better materials in the future, and provide more for their home owners.

House stiill missing shower glass, heat not working at all, A/C not working properly, air ducts does not flow,cabinetry for kitchen and batroom have poor quality,they damage the upgraded appliances and floor. They have a slow response for warranty, and the problems not fixed.

The home was delayed due to inventory shortages, we closed after 14 months of signing the home. After all this, I wished the quality is better. The floor makes sounds all over the home while walking. I have scratched windows and cracked windows, but still don't have any ETA on when that'll be fixed.

The process if purchasing the home was fine. Our loan officer Rossana was awesone she goes above and beyond. Before moving we pointed out a lot of repairs and cosmetic issues all over the home. We have been in the home for almost 2 months now and none of the issues have been corrected. Everytime we reach out they tell us that their priority is closing on the rest of the homes.

I like my new house, but I cannot deny that it has a lot of paint and finish details, it has a problem in the bathroom plumbing which flows into the garage, they broke the wall and left it that way and they still haven't repaired it, I don't I can't and I don't have time to be calling and writing to the repair technician, the yard is old and damaged and still hasn't settled, compared to other new houses that have not yet been delivered, they glued the bathroom floor cover badly and it's peeling off , I need pest control, and many details that I still have no answer

My wife and I have lived in our new KB build for nearly two months in Parker, CO as of October 2023. While we are enjoying our new home, we have been inundated with a multitude of issues in our home stemming from poor workmanship. Uneven floors, holes underneath carpet, leaking shower surround, improper installation of light fixture, crooked window frames, poor gas line installation given customer’s selected appliances, among other things. I know KB isn’t custom home builder, but there is no doubt that more should be expected from a company charging 500k and above in our area.

Our experience with KB wasn’t the best I do hope you guys can work more in the area of communication.It’s always very hard to reach out to the administrative staff.The field staff is ok as a matter of fact Mr Christian is a wonderful man,you can always reach him anytime you want and he keeps you updated on the building progress. I believe KB is using cheap materials for the building construction the concrete the whole building is on is not of good quality we have been seen holes everywhere.

I’ve had good moments with KB in buying a house. Problem is, they partner with KPS for electrical and cable wiring. The job done is horrible. Wires are not terminated, and some wires are not connected. I have been begging for them to come and finish their jobs… It’s already taking them over 3 months

Overall we are happy to have the home but towards the end of the build it was very difficult to get issues addressed or fixed in a timely manner. There were even several small issues they promised to fix after move in because we were so fed up with the delays and needed to move. Suffice to say we’ve been here a few months now and none of the issues have been taken care of. We were also told there would be a complementary 30 day paint touch up that has definitely not happened. Feels like we were on our own after we moved in.

KB Homes throughout the sales and construction process is a good partner, however, once our home was delivered with a number of issues we have been unable to get any resolution from KB. They sold us the home in a manner inconsistent with how it was sold and then disappeared. Quality is fine, though there are major oversights and issues with the home.

The quality of the build and finishing work on the home was well below the standards I would expect especially for a half a million dollar house. Multiple issues with the home, some that have taken multiple attempts to fix, and many more smaller issues that at this point I’m just tired of submitting claims. A hinge on the cabinet door in the laundry room keeps coming off, a lot of the door handle throughout the home were placed inside out, the medicine cabinet is crooked and doesn’t stay closed. And these are just the small issues, as of now. Not to mention all the major issues we had to deal ...

I am still waiting on a few jobs to be corrected or finalized in house. I have been told to "be patient" or just do not hear back to set up a date for completion. It is now going to be hard (after 2 months) to get dates coordinated due to my work schedule. 1) Lawn is horrible as they put in pods after cold front and nothing is "filling in" as I was advised. It is very "sandy" and on one side of house the pads are not growing together. 2) 2 new doors, to fix issues with doors at closing, were ordered incorrectly and still waiting to get them replaced. 3) No one has come to put "pads" on ...
