KB Homes was a great new build home experience. Easy to work with, lots of personalized options. They aren't your typical cookie cutter homes. Everyone in the neighborhood has a different design! It's great!

I had a great experience with both Lauren (on-site agent) and Lauren (construction site mgr/NHO). They were both so responsive and helpful. Mary Ann (loan officer) made the purchase seamless!

The team from Kathryn, Issac & Anthony are amazing. Issac is outstanding 100% committed to the customer. Issac’s dedication to our happiness & any concerns we have is met with such prompt attention we are blessed to have him as our construction manager.

My experience with KB Homes overall was great working with the finance team to get my mortgage up to the builder and now with the warranty individuals at are in charge with fixing any issues. I have. Everything was outstanding.

Overall, I had a positive experience with KB Home. The team was very accommodating, responsive, and professional throughout the process. They showed a genuine effort to understand and meet customer needs, and their follow-up and communication were consistent and reliable. The quality of materials used in the home itself is solid, and it’s clear they value good workmanship. However, I did feel the process was a bit rushed at times, with pressure to stick to tight timelines. It would have been helpful to have more flexibility to carefully consider decisions along the way. Also, while many options were great, some upgrades felt lower in quality than expected, so I recommend choosing upgrades thoughtfully and asking detailed questions before committing. Noticed crack in bedroom window. Informed salesperson, who stated the replacement window was on order. During homeowner orientation, noticed blinds were placed over broken window. The Superintendent of construction was not aware of the issue. So, who ordered the replacement window? Was not made aware of non-delivery of mail. Was informed by different salesperson, 2 weeks after closing of mail delivery issue only when I inquired about time of delivery. This information should have been disclosed at closing. Two months after closing, still have to go into post office to retrieve mail. Such an inconvenience. Overall, good price for value paid. ... More

Great experience in overall, the building quality is as expected. There are some very small things, I decided to take care myself (paint retouch, doorbell button installation, concrete in the ramp, water dripping from a pipe).

Many materials are damaged like countertop, kitchen sink, bathroom tubs, mirrors and because they are already in place, it's not possible to swap out so after care team worked hard to help me fixing those. Unfortunately many items weren't fixable so I'm stuck with looking at those damaged fixtures everyday. Quality of workmanship was bad, too. All the doors are not sanded well enough at the bottom and some didn't line up with the door handle hardware so had problem close fully. Painting was crappy with many running over drip marks on the baseboards. Tiles in the bathrooms are not leveled so some areas had a bigger gap from the baseboard. And the shower tub had many scratches on the outside. Walking showers didn't have enough space carved out for shampoo and conditioner. Overall, it just does not feel like a million dollar home. ... I had a terrible experience, my house was delivered missing things to do, on the day of my closing there was no CO. They still have a lot of things to finish in the house and after I gave the bad review after 30'days. Everyone disappeared. I don't recommend that you buy a house with KbHome. Not to mention that the Sales Vendor doesn't understand anything about the place because he was asked before if he was allowed to park the cars on the street, and he said no. But in fact there is nothing that prohibits, because the street here is controlled by the city!

Sharlin and James were amazing. They both took great care of me. On top of all communication, closing cost thoroughly explained, monthly payment on point, and the quality of build is everything I paid for. Thank you

The KB crew makes sure you are in the know every step of the way. Getting constant texts, emails, calls with updates on how things are going with a very accurate timeline was very helpful and gave me the piece of mind through my first custom home build.

When I visited the site, the home was not yet built. My main question for the sales representative was which home would provide the best mountain view, and I was advised to buy lot 77. At that time, there was only my home 18631, and there was no house behind me. However, after I moved in, a taller or same hieght home was constructed behind me, which blocked the mountain view from bedroom window. now the only view of the mountain was visible from my kitchen. I was a bit sad about this change, but accepted it. Additionally, deck work began on the back of my home, further obstructing the view. I had shown these concerns to Brad as well. I would not have purchased this home if I had been informed about the potential for this obstruction during my first visit in November 2024. The primary reason for my purchase was the desire for a good mountain view, and this situation feels misleading. l feel so sad and hurt about this. not enjoying the experience afterward at all. ... Buying this home is absolutely the biggest regret I have because it’s been nothing but constant headaches since the day I did my inspection. I was told when to schedule a third party inspection and both times the construction team was not prepared for it. I was told by the project manager that my expectations were to high and no house would ever be perfect, and I needed to have realistic expectations when trying to get the crooked wall, chunks of missing cabinets, and exposed nails fixed. I was told several times this is above model standard, yet I have no ability to do laundry, water sitting in walls growing mold, broken window, and it’s taken weeks to get a solution. My realtor was gaslit and ignored when addressing concerns before I showed up after closing and was told she couldn’t address the issues. I’ll never buy another KB home and I won’t recommend anyone I care about to either. I’ve had more issues in the brand new home than I ever did in a rental property. ... More

Working with KB was a very good experience and the person on the front line Greg, but calm To what could have been an anxious experience. From breaking ground. Can't be next the keys to the home. I made each step very good exciting. And all of it was done in a very timely fashion. We love our home and needless to say, we do it again.

My experience with KB homes have been pleasurable.

When they deliver the property , process is unprofessional, didn’t like the way sales office did , I don’t even have my mailbox keys

The entire experience of dealing with KB homes staff who we dealt with in purchasing the home has been exceptional. The only negative was with the title company which required us to have to wait for two hours for the funds to be received after we signed all of the required closing documents.

Once I closed on the property and now moved on to working directly with the worker regarding warranties and all other matters- the entire experience became an absolute nightmare. I was mistreated because I scored the first part of my buying experience at 7 over 10- there’s an avid score system that KB send out to buyers after close of escrow. So from that point in order to get things done, including promises their employees made, I was required to first provide a score of 10 on their avid rating. I declined and expressed my concerns to upper management and was pretty curbed ever since. I sent out emails to their corporate office and that too made no difference at the time of this review. I even went as far to show text message communications between myself and their staff as factual evidence to support my claims - that’s too was swept under the rug. Currently, there 9 issue with my brand new home one of which is a huge concern for me- concrete with large pieces of metal pointing out that was hidden beneath bark by the builders. I have small children and fear possible lacerations to their foot areas if encountered. Currently waiting to see if the division president will follow through with having these issues fixed. ... From beginning to end, all of our experiences with each KB employee has been spectacular. In a world where customer experience has absolutely plummeted, KB Homes has maintained excellence. As a first time homebuyer, this made the experience much easier than all of the tall tales we had been told. From sales to warranty, everyone has been top notch!
