Been here a little over a month and have had a bunch of issues with the house from electrical to plumbing to paint. Thought I was buying a quality home from a quality builder. Sense of urgency is just not where it should be to get issues resolved. Not too happy.

Sales and finance were excellent. Rolanda and Brad did a great job. Disappointed with interior craftsmanship and finish. Sloppy work and finishes feel cheap. Multiple issues with the home. Resolution of these issues being accomplished slowly.

Homes are worth maybe $400k from a value perspective, advertise starting at $540k with low grade fixtures, appliances, cheap lighting, cheap counter tops, other than kitchen, everything is low quality unless you pay for upgrades. After $120k in upgrades, you still have an unfinished basement, and lack things you should get standard. Lipstick on a pig best describes KB Homes value proposition.

Moving into a new house should be a wonderful experience. It's been a nightmare. I referred 2 people and now feel bad for them. I tell everyone I know to stay away. I still have issues after 2 months because KB hires the cheapest laborers amd then wonders why we as residents always call

Before the purchase of our home and for an extremely short period thereafter, the responsiveness and ability to make promises made to assist, carry out requests, and fix issues were satisfactory. Trisha and Ed were amazing to work with. After we moved in is when we noticed craftsmanship issues and just the overall quality of work is not what I would say meets standards. We started to get issues fixed then that halted and we haven't heard back from anyone. The person who did our walk through said since it's after 30 days he can no longer help us and we needed to continue the process with Brandi, who has yet to return our call. Needless to say the sales office is amazing but the rest has fallen short.

Quality of our home is maybe average. Failed mostly with cosmetic items - paint, inside and outside very poor, caulking, scratches and dents on appliances, but also electrical problems, insulation. Fixing these problems has been way below acceptable. Overall, we feel we did not receive the value for which we paid.

There had been sooo much delay in the building process that I don't believe can be explained by the pandemic problem. There had been a quick transition with supervisors and I am under the impression that this is the problem. Nick is great but I hope KB can at least keep their good people.

The experience was much better in the very beginning. I had to close without the home being completely finished. Almost 2 months later & I’m still told things are on back order. I have to reach out several times to get responses to issues. This is a very large purchase. But there are so many things that still need to be addressed

Lived in my house less than 45 days and multiple things have broken, my garage wouldn’t work and then my washing machine broke. Brand new washing machine and trying to figure out who to contact and if it was under warranty or if I’m responsible to cover costs was frustrating. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other. I love my house but I feel like as a new build less than 60 days living in it I shouldn’t be having these many problems already.

This company has made promises with very slow progress in delivery. I am experiencing water retention against the foundation of my home. The rain water last for days. I have been requesting a drain installation however months later after closing in April now June no French drain just leave with standing water.

We signed for our home with them promising to fix several items on the home. Out side has not been painted Garage door is dented and weather stripping is falling off. Our wall in main entry is bowed. With a major curve in it.the other day a worker showed up to fix the wall and only had a hammer he smacked the wall 5 times breaking the base board and moving the wall back 2 inches still needs to be redone and now tile does not match wall . Superintendent is just talked and no action. He just talked nice and ask us to give good review. He gave us temporary garage door and the one we suppose to get need to be wait for 14-16months. We are paying mortgage and we don't get what we pay for.

Sales was rude, unresponsive and apathetic. The construction crew was not much better. There were several items that were not broken or not properly installed that they tried to hide as if I would not notice. The only positive was the finance team.

Lack of Communication and slow in responses to Construction and to customer

We've had a few problems. 1: heater was never hooked up properly. 2. Whole house fan stopped working after trying to turn it on once. 3. Communication to customer was lacking or non-existent. 4. Brand new countertops were faulty and had to all be replaced. Communication to Construction crew on behalf of Customer was lacking or non-existent. All our problems were eventually fixed, but they really were fixed thanks to construction crew because KB themselves did not communicate to construction crew or customer very well. The material they used to build the home is cheap as well as the workmanship . For the kind of money I paid for the home it should have been better quality and workmanship !!!!!
