Was very disappointed with the workmanship. Very sloppy. I closed May 26 here we are July 14 and still missing cabinets. Chipped tiles. a second sink was order in my upstairs bathroom last minute they said I need 900 dollars more. They put up the plumbing but no second sink. My cabinets where chipped my sink was scratched just crazy the amount of money u pay to put out that type of work.

Need to improve the quality and workmanship of the homes. There’s a lot of issues with appliances, cabinetry and lack of quality with the finishing touches of the home. Need more attention to details specially with the design center. Lots of mistakes with the choices so it’s back and forth communication to get things resolved is painstaking. I don’t have any complaints with the sales person. Paxton is always on top of any issues and concerns given to him.

KB cares a lot about their official rating, they tell everyone to give them the best rating with the promise that they will resolve any underlying issues with the home post sales but they don't want the customer to include their true feedback in the rating survey. Everyone was attentively calling me until the 1 month rating survey came through and radio silence since then. Of course, they quietly retrieve and their service goes downhill after the purchase is finalized. Their rating means nothing given how they play the game. Expected better response to issues in regards to the home when we received keys. But once you get your keys to your home it’s up to the home buyer to constantly be on it, or your issues will be forgotten.

I love my home. The location was the reason I purchased the home. I have been disappointed with repairs. Most are minor fixes yet are still not completed and I have been in my home for over 60 days. I am not pleased with the quality of my air conditioning in my home. It is suppose to energy friendly and well insulated. I understand our initial consultation guy got laid off, so none of our initial issues are fixed. We are now in warranty and have had a major plumbing leak that we've already cut thru walls and have fans in our house for a week, not happy. I still have paint touch ups (inside&outside) nails sticking out, repaint in certain areas, recaulking around windows (sloppy job). Everyone at KB is nice, but getting no immediate help on getting my house 100% after sale.

This was my first home building and buying experience and I am slightly disappointed. I chose to go with KB home because they promised and strive for "great customer satisfaction" and portrayed their company as being highly attentive to their home owners. Where to start... contractor team doesn’t listen to concerns, cheap material used, landscaping is terrible. Started out great then the lack of communication got worse rushed everything after my concerns started to show. Have a ton of items still to get fixed under warranty.

We have been in our house for about 3 months and have learned the speed with which they build translates into countless misses. And if you don't get them fixed before you close, good luck getting traction afterward. Although the overall experience of purchasing our first home with KB homes has been pretty good dealing with sales agents and the loan officers, after move in, we have come to realize the quality of work is not great. We have had issues (mainly cosmetic) , but also issues with insulation, a dented stove upon move in, and some plumbing issues. This is my third new home purchase and without a doubt the worst experience! From communication, false information, poor quality and workmanship to extra expenses due to extensions on completion dates. We began the new build process in May of 2022. In order to purchase the home we had to sell the existing home as we were told they only wanted owner occupancy which was not true. It took over 14 months for the completion. They gave us the closing date but the home was not ready and it delayed us an additional 2 weeks. After move in, we found things that needed to be addressed; however nothing has been done and we are still waiting.

A month before closing we saw issues with the home that needed to be fixed, in order to delay the closing we inquired prior to the walk through. They said all issues would be addressed the same week and closing and be resolved quickly before closing. I closed on 23 June and it is now 11 August and I still have several items from my initial walkthrough that should have been fixed.

Sales rep, very helpful. Several issues with home during walk through, 6 weeks ago still have not been taken care of. Workmanship terrible, last incident, Clothes rack in walkin closet fell completely off the wall. Been 10 days and no drywaller to fix the problem. Issues with monthly house payment, failed to include escrow amount in the payment.

This is my second time buying with KB. The first time was great. This second time the quality is subpar. Just to say that siding is missing and they thought is was a great idea to paint over the 2 pieces missing and not say anything. Thanks for a neighbor noticing and letting us know.

I’m not sure if I should feel manipulated, lied to or if I just have to be even more patient. I was told there would be consistent communication, however I don’t get any calls back or returned text messages. I was told that I would be given a gift if I gave a positive review, which I did and still have not received it nor the actual things I’ve paid for. At this point I’m just wondering can I call the vendors myself to get things done because no one else is. This is extremely disappointing.

If I could choose a different builder I would. There are so many little things that need to be done which you express to the builders/sales team but nothing gets done and you get no updates. As 1 example, we had a broken cabinet (which we weren't told) they had someone come out and replace it but then left a scratch/dig on the face of the cabinet. I called & sent pictures they told me they will handle it but it's been over a month and haven't received an update. They harass you to give them great survey reviews but there work is far from great.
