I have a number of things that are wrong with the house and KBHome has yet to schedule anyone to fix items even though they have come by my house several times.

Not what we were promised.

Our house seemed rushed and not complete. We paid lots for an incomplete house. Cole was helping us get everything taken care of, then they let him go leaving us with people that did not take customer service as seriously as he did. Now that Cole is back, which we are sooooo relieved by, hopefully things will get corrected for us. Our original salesman Scott has been awesome as well. Cole and Scott were the only ones that cared about us.

I bought a brand new home, with that I expected it to perfect inside. There have been so many issues in my house and still are. They have attempted to fix some things, but they still don’t look acceptable. Contractors that are doing my work don’t seem be professional and you can tell in their work.

KB promises 100% completion before move-in, but they did not deliver on their promise. Our home was far from being completed with numerous flaws and construction problems. We are still dealing with issues that have not be fixed or even addressed. Our neighbors have similar or worse issues. I have purchased other new home in the past and have never had such a bad experience. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy a KB home.

My home buying process started out perfect. The deal sounded great and the expectations were set high by the sales Agent and builder. I went to the design center and picked out many very nice reasonably priced upgrades with the exception if appliances. The appliances seemed rather expensive. Current evaluation based on rotted wood fence.

Two sides of the backyard fence are made of the cheapest driftwood. Even a small dog can push its way through and 2 dogs have come into my yard through that flimsy fence. And when it rains, the wood is soft and can crumble off by itself. Why would a builder use that type of "wood" for a new home? I've been without the screen to my master bathroom window for almost 2 months now. KB Homes should follow through with replacing the 2 sides of rotten wood/fence and providing the screen for the master bathroom window.

Bought a bunch of problems with KB house

Multiple issues with the KB house after we moved in. You have to file claims to fix these issues and it takes long time for the construction problems to be fixed. All appointments are scheduled during my work hours. Do I need to quit my job or hire a house sitter to be at home for all these after purchase repairs? It was the worst decision of my life to buy a new construction/KB home

Quality is very bad. What they sell is very different to what they deliver. The only important thing for them was closing the sale no matter what. Quality the worst of all the builder I have purchased from including Lennar, GL Homes., Horton.

Terrible experience with building team and sales. Not a builder who keeps the customer in mind since everything done is always rushing the customer. Mistakes were made by builder yet customer has to pay the price. Unable to trust Tami, Nick, and Al.

KB sales office upgraded my flooring to wood and failed to send me a sample of the flooring. I requested 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch engineered wood! They used cheaper 3/8 wood and charged 30K. Did not send me sample! THIEFS!

This as been a terrible purchase. My son use to work for KB home and tons of things are happen that he said are not the same when he was there and he is the reason I purchased this house. The Finance company tried to rip me off with the rate, construction was unresponsive and didn't get work done in time for closing. As a matter of fact there is still work outstanding and my son had to coordinate most of things himself because he was tried of waiting on construction. No one at KB Home order the Certificate of Occupancy, so my son ordered it himself from the city of Cibolo. No one from KB ...

With this being our 2nd purchase with KB and communicating the concerns and issues we encountered with our first purchase, we assumed this experience would be different. First, we had issues with the lot on which we put our good-faith deposit. We were told the lot reserved for us could not have the plan we selected built on it due to city regulations. We were then given the option to have a different corner lot, and the build would be faster (February) because the city permits were already complete. This process of building with KB was a bit of a cluster… there seemed to be lack of communication between Sales, Design and Construction throughout the entire process. I signed my contract in March 2022, and the build didn’t start until July. Michelle M. was my sales counselor, and she was great.. and did her best to keep things moving forward…. I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with a homebuilder that I would not recommend. The customer service was appalling, their craftsmanship was subpar, and their overall trustworthiness was severely lacking. To say that the customer service was poor would be an understatement. I closed Feb 28,2023, I did not move physically till April 17, and my water bill is $300. The house is not yet 100 % completed till today April 18,2023. Windows and door screens are not yet installed, laundry room is only 90% completed, garage entry door knob was installed backward , lights outside and front door are wrong in accordance with the upgrades, garage door is still dirty, numerous of over painted edges. Its over price. They forced us to close even its not ready, not even close to the promise of the term”RTM” ready to move. Floors are dirty.

First Time Homebuyer Nightmare

KB homes was our 1st single family home purchase. We went threw 3 superintendents which was a nightmare many sleepless nights. If you’re looking for detail work you will not find it at KB homes. Superintendents so over booked and worked dealing with you as a homebuyer is like walking into a busy restaurant on a Friday night with poor costumer service. The main guy over all the construction sites that’s worked like 25 years for KB homes is true to his word and will make things right. He is a family man and is kind to help threw hurdles.

Construction Very Low Quality and no Attention to Detail

The construction of the home is of very low quality. Different shades of paint on the same walls. Carpet covered in paint spots, flooring creaks anywhere you walk, drywall nails visible on walls and ceilings, tile not leveled, etc. I can go on and on. It’s as if they hired a bunch of rookies to complete the home. Horrible build, would not recommend to anyone looking for a home.
