The value for the price we paid for our new home is okay, despite the continued issues before after move in. However, the communication and service from the construction team and lender were very disappointing. I would highly recommend that future homebuyers stay far far away from KB.

Asked to resubmit my first review bc “doesn’t meet website guidelines “ ... laughable smh... Here’s a summary: Nice staff/responsiveness... 4 stars Value for price .... 3 stars Trustworthiness... 1 star.. lost trust from the very beginning to the end. A pure nightmare Quality... 1 star .. never moved into a new home that was presented new ... (sloppy, debts, splatters, wires etc)

Contractors and studio workers were great but.

Here's my experience, I never had a issue with the contractors. They were probably the shinning star of this company. Everything we talked to them about was done promptly and handled accordingly. We had issues come up with framing and they were promptly handled with the proper care I would expect from a company bidding for my business. The design studio gets a A+ also. I forget the name of the woman who helped us, but she was also a rockstar. She helped us explaining the cost differences and what to expect down the road. Kb home works with many companies to build 1 home

I don't like that KB home works with so many companies to build 1 home. Quality is not good, Do to this theirs so many cracks and holes. When reporting issues to the superintendent all he does is send you to the customer service number?, which no one ever answers or returns phone calls.

The initial process with KB Loan Officers and builder was unprofessional; consistently lacking in communication. Neither the loan officers or builder were on the same page on status or updates. The overall construction was okay but responsiveness needs improvement.

Nice Home. Questionable Staff.

Problems from the day one. Decided to continue homebuying after they worked with us to fix problems. Then problems arose again after our walk through. Tried to sell us a home with broken cabinets. Had to write multiple emails up to vice president to get our problems fixed. Staff is untrustworthy and unprofessional. We love our home but what it took to get it right was ridiculous.

Partly my fault for not making sure what was getting. Asked about screen for back porch but no one bothered to tell me there was no porch on this house changed the color of cabinets t hey picked and asked for different counter top in kitchen which they did not change after picking different cabinets. At fist very responsive to any problems or flaws but soon started not responding very well if at all. still have issues not taken care of.

I wouldn't dare buy a KB home again in the future. The quality of material and workmanship is poor. I had to monitor every week to see if things were done well. Even after that, I ended up buying a home with a terribly bent incoming air duct, and a lot of wood studs broken or not put right. The worst thing is that they cheated me with the lighting by installing some cheap red lights all over my home. I had to spend a lot of money replacing them.

It has only been a little over two months since my closing date, and my homebuilder, Tyler, is no longer responding to issues that I've brought to his attention for the past month. The main issue now is the irrigation system. I've paid over $2,000 in water bills for a five week period. In a past phone call, Tyler accepted blame for the issue, and we discussed a reimbursement plan. I have followed through with that plan, and Tyler hasn't responded to my email, texts, or phone call. My experience with KB home was terrible, aside from those in the design studio, it was a mess of lies and half truths. They were terrible at communicating with us and tried to close us into a house that was not finished. We had to take our issue up to the regional manager to get our house finished. I’m 60% sure they ignored my home inspector report since they never confirmed they fixed anything or we found things in our walkthrough that were pointed by the inspector. Find out more before buying your own home. I made lots of mistakes and learned the lessons. - I didn't know that my backyard was too small to install a patio. We, and all of our neighbors were pressured into giving a good review. Our closing date was changed on a Friday at 445pm to the following Friday evening, when closing was supposed to happen Monday morning. When we told them that we already had made plans to move out of our apartment and would be homeless on Monday, they said the only way for us to close on time was if we said we were 100% satisfied with the house, even though there were tons of blue tape issues that still needed to be addressed. Horrible experience. Where is the info regarding the media panel? Where is my mailbox? Why are my gate fobs not working? Where are the paint cans you told me I’d have? Why are your employees not responding? You guys need to learn how to provide a full packet at settlement. Instead of spreading out information in sixteen different places. Your customers legit hate you. Get on the Liberty Facebook page and see how angry your buyers are. Never giving you my business again.

Not very satisfied with this newly built home. This is our second home but the first newly built and the first KB home. From the final walk to move in to now, there are still things that are not completed and we moved in March 9th, today is April 25th. I was lucky to at least have the Warranty people come out and give me a date to fix remaining issues. Overall, I would not buy a KB Home if I could go back in time.

There is just to many things to itemized. The house upon completion looked like it was completed with out supervision. To the point that when I was on the final walk through there was a picture of a Man's Private Part drawn on the Garage wall and it was unseen by the project manager. Then they ask you repeatedly if you can give them 10's on the Construction manager survey over and over even though they know it is not deserved but you feel compelled to or the stuff you need fixed in you newly bought home will not get fixed or it will be done with a grudge.
