Find out more before buying your own home. I made lots of mistakes and learned the lessons. - I didn't know that my backyard was too small to install a patio. However, no one told me before paying the earnest money. -I didn't even know there was another house being built right in front of my house. - When I needed help, I did not receive it properly and on time. no one was responsible Do your homework before buying a house. check twice

We, and all of our neighbors were pressured into giving a good review. Our closing date was changed on a Friday at 445pm to the following Friday evening, when closing was supposed to happen Monday morning. When we told them that we already had made plans to move out of our apartment and would be homeless on Monday, they said the only way for us to close on time was if we said we were 100% satisfied with the house, even though there were tons of blue tape issues that still needed to be addressed. Horrible experience. Where is the info regarding the media panel? Where is my mailbox? Why are my gate fobs not working? Where are the paint cans you told me I’d have? Why are your employees not responding? You guys need to learn how to provide a full packet at settlement. Instead of spreading out information in sixteen different places. Your customers legit hate you. Get on the Liberty Facebook page and see how angry your buyers are. Never giving you my business again.

This is the worse decision I've ever Meade in my life, starting from the sales person as he did not listen to me or what I said I wanted to, instead the pretty much push me to buy the house/ nightmare I am living in, then getting a call from the same person asking me why did I only gave him seven stars? Not very satisfied with this newly built home. This is our second home but the first newly built and the first KB home. From the final walk to move in to now, there are still things that are not completed and we moved in March 9th, today is April 25th. I was lucky to at least have the Warranty people come out and give me a date to fix remaining issues. Overall, I would not buy a KB Home if I could go back in time.

There is just to many things to itemized. The house upon completion looked like it was completed with out supervision. To the point that when I was on the final walk through there was a picture of a Man's Private Part drawn on the Garage wall and it was unseen by the project manager. Then they ask you repeatedly if you can give them 10's on the Construction manager survey over and over even though they know it is not deserved but you feel compelled to or the stuff you need fixed in you newly bought home will not get fixed or it will be done with a grudge. I reported the sliding door is damaged and installed backwards, someone came to look at it and I never heard from anyone again. I had an access panel to space under the stairwell installed and found it was completely full of scrap sheet rock. That just screams we don’t car … why not properly discard scraps instead of leaving them hidden in my house, what else is hidden in my house? I dare not look in the attic. Overall the workmanship in my opinion lacks pride. My opinion has gone down since I moved in.

Still having major issues with the home. And small issues. Calls were never returned notes were never updated or taken a very confusing process poor customer service. They would say they were going to do something but then go back on their word multiple times.

This was not the experience I was expecting when purchasing a new home built from the ground up. Too many issues. Not enough communication. Too many issues after communication. No one seemed to be on the same page. Sales or construction supervisors. Had multiple supervisors the right hand never seem to know what the left was doing.

It was a terrible mistake to buy from KB home which could not deliver in a timely matter with below standard workman ship. Unlike what the company claims that they are number one, I learned the hard way about them with loss of over $20,000 during one year of waiting and responding to unrelated requests for loan documents which was ridiculous like writing essay for marketing properties. I am still waiting to hear from them about some outstanding issues.

Lack of presence of of the promised appliances on the day of walkthrough like No Stove range, no Microwave. Lot of small issues needed to be addressed and it took almost 45 days after forcing the buyer to close on the property. I had to make repeated requests to make repairs and customer service is NOT customer oriented team at all. KB homes threaten buyers to close on the property when it is NOT move in ready. The entire experience is one of the worst I have ever had and this is the third home that I’ve built. The completion time was twice as long as I was promised, and the quality of the work is mediocre at best. It’s almost impossible to get things resolved off your punchlist. While at the end of the day we are happy with the home we purchased, the process to get here was a nightmare. The gross majority of the information received from the KB sales staff and superintendent was inaccurate. Everything from being able to upgrade to St. Augustine grass, to the size of our lot, to lying about when permits were submitted, to assuring us that we would have reclaimed water for irrigation, and the list goes on and on. KB subcontractors do not pay attention to details, appears they just want to finish the job. I found several problems for a new house, heater was not working, gutters were not sealed and leveled correctly when I talked to subcontractor to repair them was reluctant to do it. Stressful, arduous experience building a new home with KB - sub par contractors - sub par Project Managers who didn’t know how to manage a job and the result is a sub par home which I will have to already update and renovate. What should have been an exciting time in my life turned out to be anything but with me having to micro-manage them and beg for the job to be done right - mistake after mistake cost valuable time - took 15 months to get into the house.

Ingrid was terrible, nothing she said or promised was correct. Communication between KB Homes upper management and the individuals listed CAN NOT be worse or those individuals are simply pacifiers to incompetence and cover-ups.
