Delays, Poor Workmanship, and Horrible Communication

We have had a horrible experience and would not recommend using KB. Even after moving in, we still have so many issues that are taking forever to be addressed. We were told that any defects would be fixed within three days of our New Home Orientation, but here we sit about two months later and are still waiting for so many issues to still be fixed. Most of the issues are around sloppy work and cutting corners. Whoever worked on our house clearly doesn't have any pride in workmanship, and just rushed through their jobs hoping no one would complain. It is extremely disappointing to buy a ...

Not worth your energy, hard earn money and investment. Very unprofessional employees FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM, LOTS OF ISSUES WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK AND CHEAP MATERIALS USED, they try to fix the botched jobs they initially created but then create more work and more issues, Extremely unhappy with my 3016 square foot home, they also lack of empathy towards the new home owners. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND KB HOME BUILDER. unfortunately they ruined what was suppose to be the best experience for my family on building a New home. KBhome Lake Lucerne gets zero stars. RUN!!!!

The experience started off a little troubling dealing with the sales office. Once we showed serious interest in a new home purchase, every thing everything was suddenly rushed. Hurry and give a deposit, hurry and sign mountains of paperwork. Always giving me deadlines. At one point I, asked for an extra day to have my attorney review the contract for the lot/future home. The next day I received an email from the sales office telling me our contract was void, that our lot was now back on the market and if I wanted to restart the process, the cost of the lot will go up $2000! I have lived in a KB home all my life. My parents have owned two KB Homes and when given the opportunity to purchase my very own KB Home came about, I was excited. Unfortunately, the experiences I have had were not the same as my parents. I expected more from a long time and reputable builder such as KB Home. For the amount of money I have paid, you would think the workmanship would be at the ultimate highest level. Very sad and upset that we failed to read all the poor reviews about KB home, the problem seems to be that they used super cheap material and cheap vendors and kick passing the buck to someone else. We have 6 windows that are failing out of 14 windows, that's almost 50% that's 43% of our windows are leaking and leaking badly at that. One room already had drywall cut out and replaced due to the leaky windows. Before you buy KB let me tell you about Green World Windows, You really need to search Green World Windows, you will be shocked about how bad their quality is. Then to make matters worst, ...

Our experience has been a nightmare. There is not enough room in this space to properly explain all of the problems we've incurred. Pushing sales people, uncooperative staff, mismanaged build, delays, delays, delays, inspections not passed, poor trades work, very poor and upon moving in after two months work still needs to be completed. Newest development is finding possible mold in our attic and having to WAIT for the warranty department to get back with us. In the meantime, we are living in a house that may or may not be safe to live in. I will guarantee you that no one at KB Homes ...

KB never sent us our AC warranty. When we called to address the issue they just said it had expired even tho it was their fault for not sending it. Now we have no AC warranty. The tree in the front was dead before moving in and never replaced it. When I called they just said they cant do it. Our garage door has been defective for 3 months. Three mechanics have come and still haven’t fixed the door. The quality of the work is horrible and cheap.
